I believe Bowles' defense had Atl in 3rd and 28, and 4th and 14 on the Falcons winning drive. We can only imagine the nuclear meltdown here if the Bills defense allowed that at the end of an important game. I can see why Bowles melted down.

I really don't think the Bills have a strong defense. I think at best we can hope they come up with timely stops and create turnovers. Bishop coming into his own really helps the secondary. Poyer is serviceable as is Tre. The pass rush is outright terrible. Could be the worst in the league. I believe this will likely lead to a Bills playoff exit. I think you are over estimating the Bills D. Imho, it's probably the worst it's been in several years. The Bills best hope is Allen being Superman. He's capable of it but it's a tall task and a hard way to win. Teams will absolutely force the Bills to pass. No way will they not try to take away Cook and Allen's legs. Perhaps it's harder to do than say. We will see for sure. Let's not pretend like the Bills offense is a well oiled machine. For several recent games the offense played like dog poop. They were major contributors to the Bills lack of success. They even struggled in the first half vs a bad Cincinnati defense. Like others stated the AFC seems wide open and the Bills have Allen. Hopefully, the Bills can hoist that elusive Lombardi trophy.

Running TE sets and using them are 2 totally different things, yes the Bengals are the worst at defending it but by the production alone I hope a light goes on for a way to get more production out of this O moving forward . We are a football team not a boy scout troop If we win football games like we should because this is a business... All that noise doesn't matter. Look at the Patriots during their dynasty... There wasn't much noise about the nonsense going on there besides Hernandez. Brady having an affair, Gronk and the team doing party boats was barely a blip, Edelman trolling tinder for ass, Belichick having an affair with a friends wife, .... In KC the same is true except for the Andy Reid son which really barely made a blip on a relative scale. Winning quiets the noise. Diggs here + winning = 2 things: 1) no one caring about the whining and bull####. 2) feeds less drama because winners win This reminds me of a leadership course I had btw. The hardest people to manage some times are the top performers. They expect a threshold of quality above mediocrity. They become discontent when underperforming team members drag the group down. When management fails to address the issues and improve the deficits the high performers will become malcontent. In sales especially these folks will betray you. And when the top 70-80% sales fall upon your top 10-15% in most cases at most companies this is dangerous. To manage the talent of the skill in the NFL it takes a lot of skill and talent.
