Why are we so late to adjust defensively?
BillsFan130 replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall
Shaq actually didn't rush the passer though. He was responsible for the back. If brown stayed in, he would have rushed. But Chase Brown went out for a route and Shaq followed him. So it was actually a 4 man rush to the quarterback if you watch that clip again -
lol. As someone who treats odds very seriously when placing bets, I’ll pass

The Jets aren't moving on from Glenn after one year. At one point I thought for sure McDaniel would be fired but the fins have turned their season around and at least got back into the playoff mix. I am not so sure McDaniel gets fired anymore.

Is worth saying by cap dollars THIS year the Bills are heavily slanted towards offense. Even without Josh it is more on offense than defense. Worryingly we are spending the 18th most in the NFL on receivers this year to get what I suspect is the 32nd best production.

Anyway we can call his mother to turn off the parental filter to help this kid grow up? Can we trace the IP address, too? Maybe it's a loony bin or special needs school...

The Bills did play several 3rd downs at the sticks, but they also mentioned several times how Burrow does not like to throw short of the sticks - the Bills played tendencies and Burrow did throw short because of it and the Bills did a poor job of tackling at the catch point. -
Rank top 5 bills we need healthy for playoffs

Allen Cook Bosa Benford Kincaid I would say Oliver, but I’m not sure if he’ll be in game shape. We can only hope -
I'm sure you vividly remember the moment you became a Pats fan. Bledsoe was playing quarterback and took a vicious sideline hit. Then some new kid came in to play quarterback.

I was watching the ball, but I'll take your word for it on coverage. You'd think the 40 yard touchdown and third and 15 would have put them in zone. Completely agree.

There’s something different about McD this season…

I think it has to do with his relationship with Beane. -
MNF: Eagles vs. Chargers (no Bills stuff please)

No, just not a great matchup. -
If New England wins (Next Week), they officially win the East.

I asked the question... You answer first. Do you know no gentlemanly manners, sir? 😝 -
I heard a good joke the other day........Drake Maye as MVP.

Am I the only one who thinks trash talking is really really dumb? I post on opposing fan's boards occasionally because I actually like talking football, and talking football with fans of different teams is way more interesting than just talking with fans of my own team, in part because of differences in perspectives and biases. But all it takes is one person to accuse someone else of acting in bad faith and things go spiraling off the rails.

Way too early Playoff picture (not anymore)

A perfect week 15 weekend would be: Bills win GB over Denver Bengals over Ravens Not sure who to pick MIA/Pitt and SD/KC A Miami win keeps them playing for a WC making the NE game more meaningful. A SD win pretty much would eliminate KC. Expecting Houston, Jax to have easy wins -

Like the Bills did on the Bengals first 3rd down - where we brought an extra LB and rushed 5, while simulating a 6 man rush? First 3rd down of the game - had 4 down and 2 LBs on the LOS - the announcer mentioned the Bills rarely blitz, but they brought 5 and 1 LB dropped into coverage. -
The Pats are not the Bills rival yet

Patriot fans... LOL!!! Maya Angelou said it best; "when people show you who they are, believe them the first time." I lived in Buffalo for decades, through the mid seventies, through the early 80's and then through the awful mediocrity of the drought years. Bills fans were always there, showing up, showing their true colors as fans. You go to Wegmans on game day, mid drought years and still... a sea of blue and red, Bills jerseys and gear on virtually every shopper. I live in New England now. It's hilarious really. The past few years, even in the wake of what was it 7 Super Bowl wins? No evidence that the team even existed on Sundays. I would get constant invitations from friends and neighbors to "come by for drinks, snacks and dinner. And always right in the middle of a football window with Bills games, Pats games, sometimes against each other, didn't matter. The NFL did not exist for these people other than occasional chatter about how they root for the Pats, "took the kids to a game once" and miss Tommy. Now I get cute emails from these same folks wishing the Bills good luck and glee about how "The Pats are looking good". Can't even call people around here "Bandwagon". They don't really care enough to be called that... They are not trolls, they are just nice people for the most part. Really they seem to have just heard the Pats are doing well, so "YAY!, go Pats!" C'mon man... Their team is decent now, but the fans? LOL! I believed them the first time when they showed me who they were. Nothing has changed.

I've never liked trash talking. I complain about my favorite teams enough already.

So, if the Patriots out last and play tough against the Bills like the first game: what does that mean? If the Bills come out and win by 4.5+ pts: what does that mean? -
Can't say as I have.

I totally get it also and if he had tried the onside kick that would be fine also. I just don’t see why fans think it was the only choice and Taylor messed up. The old school thinking would always be to onside because no one went for it on forth down if they were ahead and old style onside kicks had a higher recovery percentage. Modern thinking looks at teams and where the line of demarcation is for going versus punting and the rules have neutered the on side kicks - which to me is fine - you should not have a good chance to get the ball back just because you are losing. The killer is the Bengals played it perfectly on the first 2 and then came after Josh with man behind - giving him a lane toward the 1st down.
