I’m as doubtful of the Bills as anybody this year, but if the Chiefs and Ravens both miss the playoffs and the Bills are a wild card, does any AFC team scare you? Patriots - potential paper tigers; showing signs recently they’re not as good as their record suggests Broncos - Nix can be mediocre for long stretches, then have a hero quarter Colts - they’ve had a great year, and I respect their run game, but this is still a team that hasn’t proven anything yet. And they play in the AFC South. Steelers? Come on. Jags? They’re just…the Jags. Chargers? Perennial also-rans. I’m not saying we’d have a cake walk, but none of those teams scares me the way the Chiefs or Ravens have in recent years.

The team reeks of hubris. We can’t make a simple game plan and expect our guys to win. It’s not happening, the playbook is so limited we can’t audible a tight end to pass block or chip? the ego of this team is mind numbing

Yeah it’s not like his size, and quick 10 yard speed can’t be used for a pattern like a slant route. I mean Brady took that out of the playbook 2 years ago

The problem is Brady is way too predictable. He didn’t change the scheme at all from last year, just put a little more emphasis on the run. The passing scheme is the exact same thing we ran last year. How many times do you have to hear opposing players say they knew exactly what play we were running on offense? My wife thinks I’m some sort of football savant because of how often I can call exactly what play is coming based on personel and formation. I’m just some bum on a couch. Defensive coordinators are laughing at Brady. The reason that stupid bubble screen gets blown up 90% of the time is because you can tell exactly when it’s coming. The defensive players just flood to that side as soon as the ball is snapped because it’s so obvious. Brady is in over is head. These WRs aren’t great but they aren’t as ass as he’s making them look.

That game was amazing. This defense is maybe the best we’ve ever had. I don’t really think Michigan is that good offensively but Matt Patricia scheme has not let up all year regardless of opponent. They will definitely be tested next week. For now I’m just happy that order is restored!

The Bills did get a couple extra days to prepare...But they are going to be dealing with a massive disadvantage with these personnel changes all over the roster, and especially on the offensive line on the road... It's an awful lot to ask tbh... I'm less than confident. But we do have the Josh/Cook factor that can change anything if either gets hot...

While I agree we lack in talent in many areas, I think it is mostly a coaching issue this year. Our defense is actually giving up fewer points on the road than at home, but they don’t seem prepared to make stops early in the game. Often they clamp down on the second half (falcons, Texans) but at that point our offense is playing catch up which has been very bad for us. on the offense, we are actually a much better running team on the road than at home. Cook is averaging 5.7 yards per carry (that is excluding the Panthers game which if included jumps the average to 6.9 per game). But we are panicking to catch up and not running enough on the road. Against teams like the Falcons and Texans, if we leaned harder into the run game, I think we would have won those games. If we had better players, we could out talent our way through the poor coaching. But this year, we have enough if the team is prepared and executes but this has been the worst coaching regular season I can remember. I’m not sure it’s changing after 13 weeks, but if they get things together we won’t be an easy out even with our weaknesses. But after 12 weeks of this, I agree your prediction is most likely
