There’s something different about McD this season…

@Avisanwatches Mac Jones throw slant to McCaffrey for a TD after Jennings/Kittle concept lifts coverage- 'Good QB play!' Watches Allen stand on his head for 10 seconds before fitting a ball thru triple coverage into a keyhole for Shakir TD- 'Good QB play!' -
So now do we go after his grandpa Howard? 🤭

Don't tell the Bengals

FU COSSELL! Who the f do you think you are saying out loud our worst fears that we know are true? Huh? I'm going to fart in your general direction and wave my private at your aunties.
-
He says this every week on fridays on one bills live. He’s nice about it but yeah he knows what he’s talking about sadly.
-
Greg Cossell's articles come up in my junk mail every week. I tried to block up the guy just won't go away
-
One of the few guys left who knows his stuff. Doesn't surprise me, we all see it. Not the greatest endorsement of this teams office/coaching.
-
He is likely posting on here and we didn't know it.
-
I don't think we will have the luxury of resting players for the playoffs this season. That being said, I would think anytime a team is in a position to rest starters prior to the playoffs, it almost a no brainer to do so.
-
He is probably the objective analyst out there. It's all going to come down to this question in the playoffs: Will the coaching by and large just stay out of Allen's way and let him do his thing, or are they going to do that thing where they overthink every decision and become obsessed with trying to control every outcome of the game?

Joe Buscaglia on Bills Evolving and Improved Receiver Room-- The Athletic

That is such a Beane move- ignore quality WRs in the draft and FA- and turn over rocks looking for Hunter, or Chase Claypool, or Marquez- Scalding. Then get shut down at trade deadline -
He ain't wrong. But there is still a winning formula for teams like ours. We don't have JAGs - just average talent and no real "playmakers" outside of Allen, Cook and maybe Kincaid if we're being generous. But it's just about playing sound, complementary football. Our offense still in the league's top 3. The team is basically the same talent-wise that came within a dropped pass or proper 4th & 1 spot of making it to the Super Bowl last year.
-
He's not wrong, the roster has issues. Multiple WRs FA and draft picks not really panning out, had to retool the WR room midseason due to poor play/injuries. Defense has its warts and has also been marred due to injury. That being said I can't say I see any team being just completely head and shoulders above most other teams right now with maybe the Rams being the exception. All the contending AFC teams have very obvious and visible flaws.
-
Not a good commentary on Beane's roster building, coming from a reputable NFL football player evaluator.

Sounds like a random bills fan

Cosell can kiss my a$$

All true, but I would lean back on who really stands that clearly above us in the AFC? The worst we will get is a 50/50 game. This isn't close to the best iteration of this team. But the competitive landscape is just different this year.
-
Pffft, never liked him.
-
I agree 100% with Greg. The man knows football, and speaks the truth
-
This might be a good game for Groot to finally start earning that contract. He's been so quiet this year. I know he's been decent against the run & setting the edge - but we need that guy to get to the QB.
