I need to know why Coleman is deserving of being in the lineup over Shavers at this point. They literally are nearly identical in terms of size, speed, vertical, etc... The only difference is one guy actually gets open and produces and one guy doesn't. How do they justify putting Coleman back in over Shavers or Davis at this point?

Lynch went to the Pro Bowl. He had an 1100 yard season and a 1000 yard season in his first 2 years. He scored 15 TDs. He was a top 15 pick with little risk. There’s no comparison between the 2. I didn’t like when they let Jason Peters go either. I did like the moves to dump Boogie Basham, Cody Ford and Kaiir Elam. Those guys, like Keon sucked. The difference is they didn’t have people willing to lay down in traffic for them. To be clear, I’m not ready to move on from Keon because he’s immature. I’m ready to move on because he’s a bad football player. He has MAJOR flaws that I don’t believe you can overcome. If you can get a warm hot chocolate for him, take it.

Anyone think McD continues to sit Coleman as long as the offense is doing well? IMO he sits the rest of the year unless injuries put him back in the lineup. …and if he continues to have off the field issues…cut him ASAP.

Samuel plays 28 snaps and gets hurt yet again. Two years of being unreliable with minimal impact. Rooting for the guy, but he’s made of glass. Even worse, I’m sure the bulk of those plays didn’t result in any contact. From general observation, Hancock still seems confused at times in passing situations.

Yeah, now he is the only defensive player ranked above below average!

Only thing I can think of is they must really like how Poyer is impacting Bishop. I do agree that we need to get Hancock's feet wet asap, if we want to compete down the road.

4 KRs for 158 yards and averaging almost 40 yards a return is pretty freaking good.

The extent of support here in WNY for ANY Toronto sports team is the equivalent(or less) of that of any other organization the Bisons have been temporarily affiliated with. Very, very little. A few minor-league nerds and people with family in Canada. That's about it. The reason is we do not root for Canadian sports teams in the US. I get it, the NFL is the most popular sport, you don't have one and you like having one nearby in the US where you can act a fool with the "neanderthals". Feel free to spend your money down here but don't come to a Bills forum all pathetic and whiny and expect us to cry in our beer with you when your foreign baseball team loses to a US team in the WS. Doesn't work that way. The Blue Jays did their part to create some malice against them with their pathetic sore-winner antics(after a half decade of underachieving) but even if they hadn't it just pulls on our patriotic heart-strings to root for the US side in a championship. And don't boo our anthem and claim it's because some politician said something and not expect retaliation. That's idiotic on your part. The anthem and the flag are not property of our politicians. We are split down the middle on politics down here but those things belong to all of us.

I could be giving him way too much credit and he’s obviously a half a step slower than his last stint but I feel like Poyer has brought a confidence we haven’t had back there this year. A legit coach on the field, if he’s not making calls out there he’s making them from the sidelines. Really feel like his veteran voice has went a long way in calming this group down and getting people in position

Yes, if you're production is that bad and you still can't show up behind the scenes, you don't belong in a SB caliber locker room , especially at a premium position Hopefully he shows improvement on n off the field but if not just cut your losses

He's fine. Not on the injury report He's also said he felt good in the post game.

Maybe he is just not very good at this stage and they are trying to see if he might help at a different position? Did I hear correctly that D. Williams was coming in to replace Jones? Wouldn’t they use Sanders there if they thought he was any good? I really don’t know, but just spitballing here.

They missed a massive block in the back on Poyer. He was in position to make the play and got blown out from behind, and the long TD run occurred. Other than that really no complaints.

First time a player has been suspended a game for spitting and of course its vs the Pats.

There were times early when I thought Special Teams might be the only thing we would win. They won comfortably, but it didn’t make me feel any better about things (short term). My wife agreed and said it out loud before I could. She used to just watch politely, but 40 years of this has made her one of us. But those returns were like that drive you crushed off the 17th tee that keeps your spirits up and keeps you coming back. Let the leaves in the yard wait. There was no genius to it. Guys can miss a lane sometimes, but generally there is somewhere to go, or there is not. There are a lot of guys running and crashing out there, and I’m just praying OUR guys don’t draw a flag.

Are these coaching issues? Can we make technical adjustments and suddenly be a more effective defense? Some of the defensive problems persist across the years with different personnel, so I had wondered if it was a scheme issue. I recollect you have insight, so I'd appreciate it if you could briefly explain why it is not a scheme issue.

Maybe. Best case they keep him in street clothes for a while and the kid wakes up and is worth at least WR5/6.
