I can't think of a time with our guys where it was obvious after the hit to the head where it messed with the player so much. He bobbled every ball thrown to him after that. He was either tentative or concussed. Neither is good

When he slams his head on the turf and holds it after a stay on concussion protocol....you pull him. I had one of my best football games ever with a concussion and to this day...it disgusts me

No, I'm not going to be mad at the system. It's Slay/Rosenhaus + Philly's tampering that annoys me. Slay/Rosenhaus were not thinking he was going to clear waivers, they knew Philly would be putting in a claim, and they did. Slay wanted to play for Philly and Rosenhaus thought he had a way for him to do it. What they didn't expect was for anyone else to claim him. And when the surprise Buffalo claim happened, Slay quit. Do you really buy his story that it's cold in Buffalo, so he'll retire instead? C'mon. (the guy had played for Philly and then Pitt). It's not hard to connect the dots - Slay wanted to play for Philly, asked for help from Rosenhaus, who talked with Philly. Asked for and received a release from Pitt and was waived. This scenario is what they don't want happening, and they call it tampering. Clear as day to me and I don't like it. I can't see how you don't see it, how the league doesn't see it, and how Philly + Rosenhaus can get away with it without penalty. It's incredibly obvious tampering.

Hopefully Spencer is able to play at a high level this week, there is a drop-off when Van Demark replaces him. I do worry about our WR's against especially Gonzales and Jones. if we have good ball security our running game should prevail. Defensively someone [?Benford] has to step up and contain Diggs like they did Chase last week. Neither Hollins or Boutte are as dangerous as Higgins. Our DL should get some pressure on Maye, and please play Thompson ahead of Milano and Bernard. Our ST's have to come to play as Jones is an elite punt returner with a nearly 19 yard average and two TD's on the season.
