Bring back Douglas and Cooper?
BuffaloBillyG replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Douglas was a straight up liability last year. Don't know if it was injury or age...but I'll pass. Cooper...no thanks. I like him, but the way we are sitting at WR now, I like what we have with Shavers and want to see more of him. Plus this Wilkerson kid seems to be doing well. I'd like to see either of them with Allen running the offens before I panic. There's a reason why both Cooper and Douglas remain unsigned this late into camp. Digging up washed vets isn't going to get us anywhere. Next thing someone will say is "let's bring back Poyer". Davis, especially in his last year here, had horrible chemistry with Allen. How many times did we see them not on the same page? Literally cost us wins. -

Are there any instances of cement handed wide receivers converting to defensive backs positions, in the modern era of professional football? Or are the skills of the roles just too different?

Preseason Week 1 Giants at Bills - Game thread
Ralonzo replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
The scenario where the Bills cannibalize from the LB position, as it looks like they are aiming for. Then it comes down to using the spot for a 4th RB who isn't a key ST player or a 6th WR in Shavers who projects as a top gunner and a Mack Hollins role on offense. Gore looked good but has nowhere near the value to the roster as Shavers. -
After reading this post I am thinking--did someone write the ELO song Mr. Blue Sky about him? What a great feeling it must be to have such a positive, upbeat attitude about our high quality team as they prepare for an excellent season, one in which they will have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL. Thank you, Mr. Blue Sky! A happy summer Sunday to you too!

Training Camp News - Around the League version
LEBills replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thought Troy Franklin played well in the preseason game vs the 49ers continuing the positive reviews he had been getting out of camp. Sean Payton can be fickle, so at any time he may wind up back in the dog house, but seems Franklin has improved from year 1 to 2. -

Let's first just get this out of the way for Finding.... Nellie Ohr isn't hot. š Let's scratch the surface with two central players in the hoax. Two more names leftists have never heard because the reliable media never told them. Kash explains how statute of limitations will likely save Nellie from being charged.

2017 our defense was good. Teams got that offseason to study it and our defense has been useless since. This coach relies on turnovers and our own offense to bail us out. If we arenāt turning people over, we arenāt stopping them. If our offense isnāt scoring TDs constantly, we arenāt winning. As long as this guy is here, it will never change. Thatās why we havenāt won a Super Bowl. I donāt care if McDermott stays on as HC. But if he has any influence over the defense or offensive philosophy, we arenāt going to win the Super Bowl. Hes a good culture guy, a good leader and someone who holds people accountableā¦his game day decisions, personnel moves and Xās and Oās are terrible. -
I played the viola in high school. THIS was my favorite type of "classical music" and remains a favorite till this day.. Great clip.
