After the Ravens game the team shut him down and put him in the lab. They figured they wouldn't need him and let him ride around on a little scooter for the media with a 'foot injury'. Meanwhile he was busting his ass in the training room and at the meetings because the only thing that really matters is winning games in January and February. Let some of the young guns get some reps and give the cowboy some extra time to gear up for the big games. That's a win-win if you ask me

Didn't he kick in game 1? Maybe they have to be on the roster at the start of week 1 and he signed that Thursday after the week started? It would make sense they waited to avoid the guarantee, but he played week 1...

They aren't opening his window this week. Seems he's not there yet still. My take was always that we wouldn't see him until after the Bye. They aren't going to just throw him on the field after not practicing with the team in months. Still a chance that he's brought back to practice next week. That would give him practice for Week 6, the work they do during the Bye, and practices leading up to Week 8. But not a great sign that they decided not to this week.

Isn't Prater's contract fully guaranteed (he was on the roster week 1) with offset language...he could legit turn down any offers and come back on the bills practice squad and the only thing that changes is he wouldn't be actually kicking...now if you needed to go back to prater, then you either cut bass and get hit with all that dead cap and you likely lose him to waivers since it would be post trade deadline, but you could also elevate prater in the playoffs... Let me know if I have anything confused on how that stuff works

That’s a fair point and again, I’m not doubting any of the guys we have. Simply if Palmer doesn’t show up here or there before the trade deadline it wouldn’t be a bad decision to get look for an addition.

I would not trade Josh Allen for any player in the league, but that said, how lucky are we to get to watch these 2 graet QB's, along with a couple of others, play on a weekly basis right now. At least 3 "generational" type QB's all playing in the same conference at the same time. I love it!

All 5 points you listed can be true-ish at the same time. That is the exact grey area the Ravens are using to help Lamar save face for being soft. It isnt black/white that he either has a horrible hamstring injury or he's 100% fine. They're using that grey area to maneuver and save face exactly like a few of us predicted. Go Bills! Reported.
