  1. Past hour
  2. Oh sure I think anybody assuming anything about this case is nuts. It is a pure he said/she said from 4 years ago. But I am already seeing some takes online, including in this thread, about how Bills fans are hypocrites if we criticize Browns or Chiefs players, and I just want to be clear that every case should be looked at separately on its own merits.
  3. Farking Gold Diggers. Anyone bringing forward a case like this and loses should have to pay the exact same amount they were asking for to the person they accused.
  4. I’ve said my peace on it enough. beane completely blew free agency on the defensive side of the ball. Old,injured, declining, suspended players. the draft saved them and the free agents are going to be back ups at best and will not help this team get over the hump in anyway. just a lousy offseason before the draft which could also be not great if Hairston ends up in real trouble here and Deon walker is injured all year and/or plays poorly. just my opinion but the team has made repeated mistakes with personnel on defense.
  5. Sexual assault isn't comparable? Ok
  6. They lost their franchise QB and now they are completely out of the NFL. Makes sense. So coaching matters then huh? It's so funny how you're arguing coaching does and doesn't matter lol. This is hilarious. Its comical at this point.
  7. That is not the function of a message board, it is to make bold uneducated and ignorant declatory comments as soon as possible before someone else does. Just like alleged "journalism" now.
  8. He said I don't give a flying f*ck because it's a stupid punter.
  9. I guess he can based off the change in the 2023 language. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/maxwell-hairston-sexual-assault-lawsuit-could-eventually-result-in-league-discipline
  10. I don’t remember exactly but what did beane say about ariza? Did he get that one right?
  11. You are compelled by the sheer number of cases with Watson (me too)….yet still no charges. This reinforces the difficulty of bringing such such cases to charge. Despite copious similar accusations of exactly the same MO, DA never charged. So the posters who still insist that no charge means the victim is always a lying money grabber are simply nuts
  12. 1)On the plaintiff side, It is trivial to find a lawyer on a contingency basis if the defendant has deep pockets which an NFL 1st rounder would have, issue is if you want good lawyer or not. 2) Civil lawsuits can be as inexpensive as you want them to be, especially if the layer is on contingency, next to nothing
  13. They lost their franchise QBs and didn't find another one and revealed they were nothing special. Because the stars aligned for the Broncos defense to be an all-time elite unit. They had multiple future HoFers and a very talented group that was underperforming relatively and a coaching change was imo key to unlocking that. We hired McDermott who got fired for failing in Philly. He was also a first time HC, maybe he was over his skis. Your current position makes no sense. If you can't hire a first time HC or a former HC who is now unemployed, there's nobody you can ever hire. Good plan. I want our next franchise QB to have never played in the NFL before, but also not be a rookie. Can you co-sign my application to be the next great NFL GM?
  14. I wouldn't say that. I think both sides deserve the benefit of the doubt, and most comments are supportive of that idea. But, we've seen what happened w/ the Araiza situation, where there was a rush to judge. The fact that this story was known before the draft & that Beane seems to have done full due diligence on it & determined that Hairston has good character has a lot of weight in this discussion.
  15. Thank you! I am a veteran and saved a bunch because of this. really appreciate you passing this on!
  16. So, your plan is to find a coach who got fired for failing. Got it. Brady may or may not be over his skis as OC, so let’s make him the HC. You are making me feel better about my current position.
  17. Let the process play out. It's a civil suit. For an ALLEGED event 4 years before he was in the NFL. It shouldn't be a football issue except for some trash talk banter.
  18. https://x.com/againstgrmrs/status/1940455431589257699?t=9k6rWM63mqNGY6f-dmOnbQ&s=19 Gee, another one that can't be embedded yet it's just fine to be doing this behavior LIVE in front of CHILDREN.
  19. Corruption. So prevalent now that hardly anyone notices. Mr. Trump is suing for $20 billion, claiming that CBS deceptively edited a 2024 campaign interview with Kamala Harris. The version that aired, his lawyers recently argued, “led to widespread confusion and mental anguish of consumers,” including Mr. Trump. CBS has released the full tape, and it shows that these claims are concocted. Yet the President has leverage over Paramount, because its merger with Skydance Media requires approval from the Federal Communications Commission, or FCC. Mr. Trump has reportedly turned down a $15 million settlement offer, and the Journal reported Wednesday that a mediator has proposed that the two sides settle the lawsuit for $20 million. The business logic for settling Mr. Trump’s grievance is easy to grasp: What’s $20 million in grease money, if it might save an $8 billion merger? Unless, that is, a big payout to the President could be viewed as a bribe. It’s obvious that Mr. Trump is relying on the threat of regulatory disapproval as leverage in the lawsuit. Does this really fit the federal bribery statute? What level of legal frivolousness is required before settling a civil suit becomes pretextual? https://www.wsj.com/opinion/paramount-donald-trump-lawsuit-cbs-fcc-first-amendment-23c10b02?gaa_at=eafs&gaa_n=ASWzDAgf43_7HI3WPOUFzOoFFnkHLlGoyR-Zstcmf5vLWRfstyqWTSkI7q00o4yjtD0%3D&gaa_ts=68657009&gaa_sig=PsZe2KxQMmKnhDX6V6Rljhwc-qRpfSqnP5aH2_9QHmxhkilDH8qjycxHHjA_cjxmLPEAgolLAHqWw6i73dOy3g%3D%3D
  20. If Hairston comes down with 20+ charges of sexual assault, then I will throw stones. These situations aren't comparable.
  21. sigh even the stodgy yet excitable Frankish has declared no harm, no foul on this one. Don’t let that stop you.
  22. I don't know if you're aware of this or not, but the Bills have played a 1st place schedule the last 5 seasons. Division wins aren't the overall factor when it comes to division titles....it's overall wins. You keep bringing up Jones, Newton, Wilson etc.... We do face a lot of franchise QB's every season. In fact, McDermott has faced Mahomes in the regular season more than he's faced all the above QB's. Winning 5 straight division titles isn't hard. Sean Payton couldn't do it with Brees, Dungy couldn't do it with Manning, Bill Walsh didn't do it with Montana.....
