  1. Past hour
  2. As you point out, DH variable may loom large, so I'm interested in this. There are no perfect 1-1 comparisons, but just quick math. Emmit Smith had roughly 5250 touches, college/pro, thru 11 nfl seasons. Thereafter, a dip in his production, though not profound, can be discerned. DH has roughly 3100 college/pro touches thru 9 NFL seasons. Different players, definitely different body types/usage. I get it. But, my thumbnail, 5 min conclusion is that Henry has a season plus before we see a consistent drop in effectiveness. Barring injury of course. Totally open mind, so willing to be otherwise persuaded.
  3. To me this has been one of the most frustrating decisions of McD for his roster building of his defense. There is a reason you don’t see team building that focuses on inside pass rush and outside containment very often. The percentages don’t work if you don’t have a unicorn at DT. If we already had that player, then great. Build your defense around him. But we quite obviously don’t. This season pressuring QBs is going to be heavily dependent on Bosa being healthy and effective and maybe some blitzing, which we seemed to test out a fair bit in the preseason. Hoecht may help as well as he has the flexibility to line up wherever we want so we can create some mismatches.
  4. Doesn't bother me if you take mRNA shots. You do you.
  5. He will always be this to you
  6. I know my old man filed years ago with a restaurant/bar because of stupid business decisions . You along with others with TDS forget that sometimes in business buying a failing company to file bankruptcy on is actually good business, despite that's all you all want to focus on is the action of and not the intent weather it was good or bad but meant as a business decision when it comes to the Orange man . Because if he did it with the intent of using it as a planned move then it wouldn't fit the narrative of all things Orange Bad . Trump has forgotten more about business dealings & learned more from the gains and more so the losses than you will ever know . But as I said before in my prior reply that the Bills D coordinator said and no truer words have ever been spoken - Failure is the best teacher ! But you continue to think that from your couple of apparent good business out comes or experiences that you know more than most and it will all be good ...
  7. He's decent, but I think everyone was expecting a lot more after he had 12 receiving TDs in the 2021 regular season and playoffs.
  8. Trump is getting ready for "the storm."
  9. Seems like a good guy, so hate to see it - but this is very possibly the end of his bills career. Maybe even his nfl career. He doesn’t have much good tape, and even 2026 isn’t going to be great for him as he will still be recovering and lacking athleticism if he does get another shot. That leaves him a 4th year mid round pick with bad tape?
  10. You should join my critical-thinking class. In fact, we'll be addressing the Straw Man fallacy next week. I don't use sarcasm on my students, but I'll use it on you since, as a veteran poster, you should know better. "Yes! In fact every success in every sport is due entirely to luck. Thank you SO much for understanding my position!" I urge you to re-read my post. I said when teams are this close, probability plays an outsized role, and you can get lopsided results that do not reflect just how even the teams are. Yet shallow thinkers, never trained to bracket their knee-jerk reactions and actually think, insist that Destiny or Greatness are the real reason for the result. So Mahomes is far better than Allen, and the Bills are inferior as a whole to the Champions. I'm very glad I don't live in that world. I'm sure it's comfortable, but I would miss using my mind.
  11. I have understand fans that want more out of Knox. At his price point that’s reasonable. But I don’t get why some wanted the Bills to cut him. He is the only TE on the roster that’s effective in all phases of a TEs game. He is a good receiver, run blocker and pass blocker. Having a TE like that on the field is important for obvious reasons.
  12. Yeah it's frustrating, but it's Franklin. Until he goes it won't change so I don't invest emotionally in their success. He mixes enough good qualities with his cheesy bogus schtick to keep his job. I don't know why the alums and AD won't hold him to a higher standard but it's been that way for too many years. Still love them, but he can't coach big games so our ceiling is set 99% of the time. Just glad we don't have to play you guys and UM in the same year now, cause we can’t beat them either. So there's a sliver more hope.🤪
  13. This is why I have all the PPP leftists on ignore. They consistently get behind crap like this. Denying the existence of things that are demonstrably true/false. Consistently. From Biden's mental decline, to the border being secure, to Trump said neo Nazis are very fine people .. The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command. There's ideological blind spots and hypocrisy, and then there's this. Why would anyone want to engage with these useful idiots?
  14. Been out of the loop for a few days, so forgive me if this is old news, but is Benford back practicing?
  15. If you look at the year they both had last year, Knox was the better overall TE. But Kincaid certainly has way more potential to be the best, but needs to show it, until then, hard to argue with Andrew Son. Kincaid certainly looked good in pre-season so hopefully by mid October there will be no doubt who is the best and the answer will be Kincaid. Also agree that to say Kincaid sucks says you're pretty much clueless.
  16. and yet we all watched them Bills religiously 1000s (10s of thousands for me) miles away from their (in)action. Go Bills !!!
  17. Tough for the young man. I hope he makes a full recovery. That being said, I don't thing he was going to contribute any meaningful minutes unless he had taken a big step forward. I hadn't seen any reports from camp or play in the Preseaon to suggest that he has. Still, you hate to lose your depth guys because they are just one play away from being forced into meaningful action.
  18. Go Sabres!
  19. At this point, take care of his surgery, then reach an injury settlement. Let him rehab and try to get a roster spot somewhere else.
  20. Go Sabres!
