  1. Past hour
  2. Watching TNF last night, the thing I realized about Jones, for me, despite the fact that he was a Patriot***, my hatred is of the player. I was sooooooo irrationally annoyed while watching a game between two teams I really don't give a **** about last night and listening to the commentators slobber all over him. At one point Fitz, who I appreciate much more when he's not behind center for the Bills, said something nice about him and I was like "**** you Fitz, go **** yourself." My wife commented earlier in the game, prior to growing tired of my disposition and going to bed, that my mood was almost like when I'm watching a Bills game and they're losing.
  3. ...and that's why Dallas would not even listen to any trade offers. I can't wait until the trade deadline so all these pie in the sky trades that people come up with stop.
  4. Nothing says America like showing up in a memorial service thread, and sh*tting on the deceased.USA! USA!!
  5. I am truly stunned at Aubrey. This guy was just a soccer player off the street basically, and has turned himself into possibly one of the greatest NFL kickers ever. Even his kickoffs are so pinpoint accurate, it’s absurd.
  6. First casualty of war is the truth. We have all learned that over the last 50 years or so
  7. No need to be defensive. You behaved in a certain way that gave you a warm fuzzy. sometimes it’s OK to say nothing. There are quite a few people out there that don’t understand that.
  8. Got you, I updated and edited my original post. But yeah you're saying his "wear and tear" is significantly less over his career than a Barkley / Taylor, etc. I'd agree. My only concern with paying cook the whole time was now we're going to lose an OL this offseason (I believe McGovern and Edwards are up for contracts) and then... does that affect his production moving forward? This year was never a concern because we returned all 5 OL.
  9. This is apropos Essex as, in real life, Shooter McGavin (Christopher McDonald) is a no-kidding-tailgating Bills fan.
  10. Oh please, if a left winger who trashed the right was gunned down you'd be respectful of a big, staged show of celebration of their life? Doubt it
  11. I've seen enough of Bass to never feel confident when he is kicking FGs. Prater has the one horrible kick but like mentioned above he gets the mulligan for that one. I would prefer Prater based on what I have witnessed with Bass, but the sample size is small
  12. I mean over his career. Even going back to college he split the load. I agree in the first 4 games of this year he’s been getting “bellcow back” carries. It will be interesting to see if that continues.
  13. Glad you just figured out how "war" works.
  14. No, not really. He's at 87 and Taylor, Irving, Jacobs, Barkley are at 90. He's top 7 in touches and only 3 away from being third. Odds are after this game he's number 2 in touches because number 2 right now is Kyren at 98 and he played last night.
  15. Even just being a bit banged up is helpful. Pats are fairly healthy, Bills mostly healthy too outside of some dings and the suspensions and Mad Max injury.
  16. I’m sick of the Patriots, they are not the Patriots of the Brady, Belichick era. I’m sick of hearing how they are coming after the Bills. I’m sick of hearing about Vrabel, as a coach he is barely over 500. I was sick of hearing how Jones was the next Brady, I’m sick of hearing that Maye is the next Josh Allen. I don’t just want the Bills to beat them! I want them to BEAT them!
  17. Honestly I am very concerned with Drake Maye scrambling and our swiss cheese run defense. Hopefully the D gest their ***** together
  18. Actions have consequences. Sometimes it’s OK to say nothing. of course you should not be punished. It’s just embarrassing that a grown man would do what you did. You got some pleasure out of it though so time to move along.
  19. When you force a turnover you get off the field. But how can you possibly say that's more of an important stat than looking at being 25th on first downs allowed, and 29th on 3rd downs when it comes to getting off the field? Lol. They were a big play defence which is important. But that Doesn't mean they consistently stopped anyone...25th in first downs allowed and 29th on 3rd downs literally shows they were one of the worst teams in the nfl in stopping teams
  20. I live in Israel, as some of you know. It's not a regular occurrence around here to see anyone wearing NFL gear. But today, around the corner from my house, I saw a teenager wearing a 10 Maye jersey. This really happened. I probably should have stopped the car and given this kid a tongue-lashing but I was just too shocked.
  21. The issue with Bass was that he was so piss poor at times where he just really felt very unreliable even when he was making shots they always felt like they would barely squeak in. But then Bass would go on hot streaks and hit kicks solidly and consistently. Prater feels more stable but I am not sure his range at his age is what it used to be. I personally would rather have a Prater type kicker whose going to have more stability under 50 than Bass whose got longer range but is more volatile.
  22. This hurts because it has some truth to it….allegedly.
