Coach Tuesday started following Josh and INTs

Good thread. I hope people realize what a once-in-a-lifetime experience it is to be able to root for this athlete. He is one of one. Every game is an Event. Every play. 3rd and 26 and down by two TDs - ok let’s see what Josh does here. We have 17 and we’re still in it. He tells us to “have a little faith” and I believe him.

Milktoast," as an adjective or noun, describes a timid, meek, or unassertive person who is lacking in boldness or vigor. The word is an Americanism derived from the comic strip character Caspar Milquetoast, created by H.T. Webster in 1924, whose name was taken from the bland, easily digested food known as milk toast. Origin The word "milquetoast" comes from the Caspar Milquetoast comic strip character, who represented a timid, meek man. The character's name, in turn, was taken from the dish of "milk toast," a soft food of toast with milk. Meaning of Milk Toast (the food) Milk toast consists of toast, often buttered, served in warm milk. It's typically a bland, nutritious, and easily digested dish, sometimes served with sugar or salt and pepper. -

I cannot stand Jones but I respect what he is saying here. See Dems, its possible to respect an opinion or statement from someone you don’t like. It really is possible. -

Oh wow that’s scary. I assume she is around the same age as him which is so shocking. I hope she can live a full life.

Going to give a shout out to the reporters this week. They asked some decent pointed tough questions of McD today. Usually it is milk toast stuff, but they questioned why such a poor showing on 3rd and long, where is Landon, where is Rousseau, and lastly what happens when Hairston and the PED cheats are eligible to come back. Good solid set of questions. They got few answers but kudos for them raising a lot of the concerns raised on this board.

What happened to the run game in the second half?

I am only through the first half. Regarding the run game, those who said they went to a 5 man front: they did a fair amount of this in the first half as well. Generally speaking the Bills run game was just bodies on bodies and let cook work. They really aren’t doing anything fancy. It’s inside zone, duo, student body left. Not as much man scheme so far. I think McGovern had a tough half in the ground game. Curious to see if that continues. The number on condensed formations, and variations of personnel seemed overwhelming to Miami. -

Are you intentionally misunderstanding the guy? You should maybe take a look at what he actually said before calling him a bigot. The smallest amount of effort will show you why you are wrong.

I have moved up from being schooled to getting destroyed by “the libs” over the simple concept of a lead-in program. As a parting gift I give you this: NBC frequently used the massive popularity of Friends to launch other sitcoms as a lead-in program, placing them directly after Friends in its lucrative "Must See TV" Thursday night lineup. By benefiting from the large audience already tuned in, these shows had a better chance of gaining and keeping viewers. Consider yourself educated. That’s hurtful! -
What happened to the run game in the second half?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
They sold out to stop the run. Brady doesn't have a good feel for the game and honestly Josh is playing a bit too conservative. We should be calling more play action and we should be going more no huddle to slow down the pass rush. I do like them running and picking up first downs on 3rd and 2. Putting that on tape now will play dividends later int he season when they have Josh run more. As for Josh, I think he has checked into several runs that haven't worked out too well. Also he seems to have thrown more hot reads short of the first down marker than I am used to seeing from him. He's not Trent Edwards back there but he took very few deep shots. He threw one to Coleman that got a DPI. And then the pass breakup/drop by Kincaid in the end-zone. Not much else that I recall. -
