As much as I hate to say it I don’t think the chiefs will lose a divisional matchup in the playoffs since it’s the third time they’ll be seeing that team, same goes for the jags with it being the second time. I don’t think NE is beating them either and Baltimore pretty much never beats them. if the colts beat them decisively I’ll feel better about it but if not it’s really kinda up to the bills to keep them out of the superbowl again. The chiefs would most likely get stomped in the Super Bowl if they made it though

Orlovsky thinks he's playing Sunday against the Pats.

Then why are they still on NFL teams, getting playing time? The OP contention that my post was intended to refute: "There hasn't been one player that they drafted that is no longer on this team that is remotely any good, outside of Edmunds" Try to keep up - There is a huge influx of new cheap guys into the league every draft. If a guy is not "remotely any good", teams will choose the cheap fresh blood who might potentially develop, over vets who are "not any good". Do you really want to argue that point? This is especially true of late rounders/UDFA. Therefore, if a guy is looking for a hat, and teams keep signing him, we can assume they think he is at least "remotely any good". Also try to keep up - you can exclude them. You can exclude ST players. And the contention that "There hasn't been one player that they drafted that is no longer on this team that is remotely any good, outside of Edmunds" is still disproven because it only takes one more player. Even the OP admits Teller is a stud and I think he just acknowledged that Harrison Phillips has not spent 4 years playing for the Jets and was in fact a full season starting DT 3 years on two very good Vikes teams (and one that was missing a QB). Q E D.

4.59 forty, according to his RAS score. His overall score was 4.37, is that what you were thinking of? Neither number is very good, but Jerry Rice didn't score very well, either.

Which is a lot better compared to the rest of the NFL than most people think. 12th in YPG and 15th in PPG. People act like they are 32nd and 32nd by a mile, and it simply isn't true. Run D is bad, pass D is really good for the most part.

True. Definitely more innate in Shavers than Keon, though. Shavers is an intelligent player. IMO it just going for to take playing time for Shavers to learn weak spots in zones. He’ll figure out I’m guessing

Typically the issue is steroids allow the muscles to unnaturally grow stronger than what the tendons/ligaments can support which is one of the checks/balances in the body naturally. When you lift weights, the body will never naturally allow muscles to get bigger than what can be supported by the tendons/ligaments. Tendons and ligaments increase in strength much slower than the muscles can because of the relative lack of bloodflow to them. That's why after the initial "jump" observed when starting out lifting weights, the muscle growth tends to slow down, to ensure the tendons/ligaments can keep pace. When this gets overridden by steroids, the tendons/ligaments are no longer able to withstand the additional forces placed on them by stronger contractions than what they can handle and they essentially snap.

Numbers wise both on offense and defense they are playing better than they were last year. The big difference is they are losing 1 score games when they were winning them improbably some weeks like that blocked FG against Denver last year.

According to Cover 1, Coleman will be a healthy scratch
Cheektowaga Chad replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Coleman seems to always say the right things in the media but by his actions he is showing he doesn't get it or understand what he is saying Hopefully someone he understands and respects gets through to him, how great of an opportunity playing with Josh Allen really is. Not many young receivers come right out of college and are given an opportunity to be a go to player with a QB the caliber of Allen -

I’d rather see video of Coleman celebrating Bills TD. Hoecht had torn Achilles, and told doctors he was gonna stay on bench, and watch game. He then asked McD if we could go watch with the defense. Hoecht celebrated with Bills jubilantly, with a torn Achilles. If Keon can’t celebrate with his teammates, is dancing on sideline, and was vague in postgame interview if he got the message or not. Not a good look Keon at the very least. Compare and contrast Keon and Hoecht, it’s a massive difference. -
The Chiefs look tired and uninterested. That team has played a lot of games over eight long seasons. They have played 20+ more games than most of their opponents when you factor in the playoffs. The hunger isn't there.

But beane does draft better rounds 4 5 6 7 then basically most GM His ability to find good football players round 5 is a great ability... I'm not giving up on Coleman yet... If there's one organization that could get into his head the good way it will be the bills Dion and shakir and Josh can right the ship... We need these three to lead by example for everybody on the offense

Tell that to Brady. He just figured out that Cook is more useful running wheel routes than sitting on the bench. He's a slow study, Joe. But give him credit: he has a firm grasp of the wide-receiver screen and the stop route. 😕 But they're playing against the Bills defense, right? The Bills....defense.

Hilarious. You’re right, I’m not a coach, I’m a fan! And guess what, nothing I (or you) say matters! Cheers and Go Bills!

Game week thread - Bills at Texans TNF
PoundingDog replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
So far it seems Sgavers is better against man coverage. There are instances where against zone, he does not know when to sit down and run into coverage. Atlanta game there were a few examples. -
I just wonder if we've gotten to the point where our run D is such a liability and teams are planning for the feast that maybe we need to mix it up a bit. Not let teams come out the gate ramming it down our throats. See if we can't get them off script and get a lead, so they start trying to pass more. Every team knows at this point that our base D is nickel and our personnel does not play it well enough anymore to protect against the run.

Hope we see the sugar high and hero ball Josh where he throws a 50 yard bomb to a fullback. -
I agree on all points. In this free agency era, and when the 5th round option has to be picked up (and is fully guaranteed) after the player's 3rd season - waiting 3 years for a guy to develop just before his last year under contract (for 2nd round on) or just before we have to pick up the fully guaranteed big bucks, is a luxury we really can't afford.

Josh after his 6 TD performance: "I didn't play well."
Buffalo716 replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
A six touchdown game and Josh still did leave some on the table You will never hear that out of a six touchdown game in the NFL.... Josh says hold my beer.. we might see a 7-8 TD game one day -
Poona Ford is on that list too. Beane had a couple capable DTs. But he had to throw away and waste draft picks on DeWayne Carter and Landon Jackson.
