I personally think the high arcing long ball "rainbow" pass is the most satisfying to watch play in football and Josh just can't or wont throw those. Maye can and often does, Russ was maybe the king, and even Tyrod even hit these early on here. One of the best passes Mac Jones ever threw was rainbow to Hyde in the playoffs and it looked fantastic. But Josh does not and perhaps cannot hit a big bomb like that. Maybe he just flat refuses to put a bunch of unnecessary air under the ball by rifling a fifty yarder like the one to Diggs closing out Detroit a few years back, but as impressive as those are, I still want the pretty picture pass and I think fans over rate those who deliver.

I still think it’s probably the Texans…could be just a me thing but I think nix is pretty limited in reading a defense etc…stroud may be that also but better defense and Nico collins is a win the game all by himself kinda receiver jax has quietly been good too

Yes I'm not knocking Drake at all But their play style at the quarterback position is not comparable.. Josh made more mistakes his first 2 years than Drake.. but he also did stuff that football coaches and fans never saw quarterbacks ever do Had more passing yards and rushing yards then the Texans in that playoff game He was not polished... There's a difference between being not polished and not showing talent Josh showed insane amounts of talent I have receipts here I was calling him a future All pro during his second year Where you think he couldn't throw

No he wasnt..those insanely beautiful plays but yet in his playoff game they had him running more than passing cuz he was wildly inaccurate?

The version of the Bills that showed up yesterday can beat anyone.

I think the point Buff is trying to make is Allen was in year one and two making those insanely beautiful plays that only Allen can make, the plays that make Allen so special. Allen was very raw coming into the league, everyone knew that, he was certainly more raw than Maye. Maye looks like a great QB and any fan base would feel blessed to have a qb like that. The point is, Maye hasn’t shown that true game changing ability yet. However, I believe Maye’s ability to be a game changer will come from reading defenses, manipulating with his eyes, and throwing to open guy. Kind of like. Burrow, only Maye is more athletic. Allen is a mix of that, and then the unique Allen magic. They are different qb’s and Allen’s uniquely special traits were apparent before he became an efficient passer.

In the first game, Maye rolled out to his right a fair amount and killed the Bills. Yesterday the Bills did a cage rush on Maye to prevent him from rolling out to his right. The last play they set him up with Bosa charging at him unabated.

My god, follow along - Slay wasn't hoping to clear waivers, he wanted to go to Philly and still get paid. Rosenhaus had prearranged it with Philly - that's tampering. Why are you continually making stuff up - "it goes on every single day", What - waivers are somewhat rare, and not supposed to be prearranged moves. Now you're making up "hoping he would clear waivers". More likely the exact opposite, he did it with the intention/information that he would be claimed. Why, when asked didn't Slay just say what you claim above? Instead, he said ridiculous things, ie things like "it's cold in Buffalo" or "I didn't want to uproot my family" Hopefully it's not the end of the story. Yes, Slay didn't want to play here, but there are supposed to be penalties for tampering.

Allen saw what needed to get done and did it. Maye couldn’t, right now his is a very good game manager. Nothing special about the guy. He could develop into something more, but I question it. I’d rather have a qb like Josh who has to be reigned in, who is a gunslinger and will try to do whatever it takes to win. Maye looked scared to make a play. Not sure if that’s his personality or coaching.

Never said Sean was the problem, but the fact that we don’t get over the hump . is in some part due to things like game day decisions(see 13 seconds, not playing Cook the last 2 series at KC last season, not adding a receiver or a DB, or a Defensive Tackle at the deadline, or challenging the Boute catch yesterday. Sean is a motivator no doubt, but he is not a coach that makes good decisions.

Houston is the toughest matchup, but I still think buffalo would gut it out at home... On the road would be very difficult I believe we can run on Denver and I don't trust Bo nix in the playoffs Denver is a little bit inflated

Too bad it is not in Fishville. Still rooting for Steelers tonight. Miami going to be dead by week 18 is my guess, we need them to play for pride (gulp!)

Josh Karty is on the Rams practice squad. He lost his job this year but he’s interesting and was a 6th round pick. Lucas Havrisik Is on the Packers practice squad and I feel like the Bills tried him out last year. Maybe he was on the practice squad. Tucker makes sense in the short term.
