WR1 available for 2026 Season (no draft pick compensation required)
The Jokeman replied to mannc's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's played great in Dallas opposite CeeDee Lamb. Yet he struggled at times in Pittsburgh and had a bit a diva personality. Personally I don't think he deserves WR1 money. Is he an improvement, yes? Is he a significant improvement and aligns with our offense? To me no and if meant preventing re-signing Bosa? Yeah no thanks. -

The Buffalo Bills. Picking a team and sticking with it is more ingrained in British sporting culture. You make your bed you better lay in it, my friend. -

They screwed the pricing up this year. Removing the season ticket option and then hiking ticket prices. I'd expect some reversion next year. Because I genuinely think they priced themselves out. -

the head count could be higher...... lol lol lol -
I think that the Bills sign a guy in FA but try to acquire a number 1 via trade. That could be a trade up in the draft for Tyson or Tate. It could be a trade for a veteran like Higgins or Jefferson or MHJ or BTJ or Waddle. They aren’t going to try to sell everyone on this everyone eats nonsense any longer. Those that couldn’t see through the ridiculousness of it in August do in November. They’ll get a guy at the top of the depth chart, a FA AND another draft pick IMO. The WR room will look something like this IMO: - Higgins (trade) - Pierce (FA) - Shakir - Palmer - Gabe - Shavers - Brazzell (3rd round)

If that's true, it (obviously) seems like more than just discipline for missing a meeting. It seems more like they're starting to give up on him. Really sad, really disappointing if that's the case. I kind of hope it isn't. -

I'd support the Bills. Easy answer. If the Bills ever moved from Buffalo and there was a London team already in situ then it might become a question. -

I actually think if we decided to go end of first round there are some intriguing guys that will be available. Early yet obviously with senior bowl combine etc but I actually like this class of WR Im also an Alec Pierce guy. He’ll get around where Palmer got or a little more. Just strikes me a ms a guy Bills brass would like -

Bro, they’re a midling team at best and have been since their inception. Good on you that you like them. I don’t. -

He separates at the catch point. He is elite at it. The best in the league. He doesn't separate at the release or in route. He separates right at the top of the route. That isn't the ideal stylistic fit for Josh IMO. I think Ceedee Lamb would be better for Josh if the Cowboys were for example willing to trade Ceedee to retain Pickens. -
I think another good game by Gabe gets him signed to the 53 or an agreement that happens in two weeks. A good season by Gabe likely means Bills/Gabe work out a deal for next year. He made some money in Jax and I think he just wants to play where he’s comfortable.. which is here, with JA. Id be shocked if he stays healthy and plays well, then isn’t on our roster next year.

players would get paid in USD...and plenty of players willing to play there in order to be in NFL. -

I know you haven't asked me but I'll take a shot at this. My perception of GWB changed after additional info about 9/11 came out and the possibility that "elements" of the U.S. government may have been complicit in that. (Examples: GWB's brother Marvin's lins to security for the WTC, Cheney's 'stand down order' as a plane was approaching D.C., GWB's failure to react significantly or even rush off to 'attend to things' when he was informed of the attacks, Project for a New American Century, certain Saudis being 'allowed' to fly out that day, and many other things.) Also notable is the delivery of "the envelopes" to certain dignitaries at GHWB's funeral. It's plain that they were received by: Jeb Bush, Laura Bush, the Obamas, the Clintons, the Cheneys and the Bidens. GWB is merely looking down in shame. Clearly all these people are responsible for things that the American people would be appalled at if they knew about it. It's also why there is such visceral hatred of Trump. He's responsible for whatever revelations/consequences that are coming. Also it's worth noting who DIDN'T get an envelope. The Carters! In fact, they looked confused as to why they were excluded from "whatever it was" that was in the envelope. The Carters = Good People. Here's a discussion of that event if you're interested:

So you just count on being able to get someone at the bottom of round 1? We can’t go into next season with this same kind of receiver room…
