What he's not explaining is I've been consistent on the position that while Allen is a physical freak and can do many a great thing he'll never be the kind of QB that Brady, Manning or even brees were. He's not a processor, and I have doubts as to whether 30+ yo Josh will ever be what he was 3-4 seasons ago. So then the question becomes if he's hoovering 20% of the cap, will the team ever progress beyond where it was in 20/21/22? I have doubts. So what to do with him at that point? They're not awful honestly. Parity is big this year with matchups.

QB play overall has been pretty mediocre this year, other than individual games or plays.

In some of these road losses, the offense including Allen have been sluggish in the first half. No tempo. No urgency. I think we see that change today and i believe Allen will run more off schedule to avoid getting trapped in the pocket. It's a playoff game in late November. I bet the Bills play well today.

Houston and KC are the teams needed out the playoffs, next weeks game will be interesting to pick
