He has three — maybe four, if he doesn’t get hurt — years left in his prime before a rapid decline sets in. How much longer are you going to give McDermott and Beane to keep “learning things”? I don’t even care if they win the ring or not right now, but they HAVE to get to the Super Bowl this year — otherwise Terry needs to throw both of them overboard.

Sorry, even though Im a Mets fan I cant hate Bryce Harper. The guy is mega-talented and his hitting fundamentals are just so perfect. But more so becuase hes just such a damned hard-nosed gamer. I love watching him play.

Stealing is not necessarily morally wrong. Moral are internal to self. So I could feel something is moral to steal (maybe it was stolen from me originally or something else was stolen, literally the case many posters are making here). So there is 100% moral ambiguity because morals are internal and we are not hive minded or robots. You seem to be on the side of Jafar and the Sheriff of Nottingham against Aladdin and Robinhood who both believed it was morally ok to steal to feed hungry children even though it was ethically wrong. My rationalizations are my morals we all have them. we differ and thats fine but i am not confused about what im doing and am very honest with myself that its ok. Morally I cant tell you youre wrong thats for you to live with. Ethically you are wrong for taking a car while I am not for watching a stream posted publicly.

Whoever made the decision to involve Gloria Allred.. congrats on destroying the legitimacy of those accusers that actually are legitimate. Unforced, idiotic decision that ensures half of this country doesn’t take them seriously. It’s a shame, on all sides, how this has played out. From Trump saying he’d release the list on the campaign trail to calling it a Democrat hoax once in office to opportunists and clout chasers involving themselves with the victims to Democrats suddenly caring about this when they didn’t have a care in the world with Biden in office and capable of releasing some of this.

So right out of the gate, WR Coleman, who is predicted to be one of the breakout players of the year suddenly has a groin issue. Those things linger. And Shakir in practice video yesterday certainly did not look 100% on the gimpy high ankle. Then you have Bass and the other guys. Football is so frustrating that so many guys get injuries and soft tissue problems in practice. Not just the Bills, but all teams.

If players play, they’re ready to go. Football isn’t some sport where you get to be 100% all the time. Shakir is practicing in full. We don’t know how serious or not serious Coleman’s issue is. Benford, by all reports, is moving just fine. Tre and Bass, sure. Not ideal. Ravens are also down Likely.. and Ricard hasn’t been practicing. We have no Hairston, they have no Alexander. Hoecht and Ogunjobi would be great to have for this game.. especially Hoecht, but maybe the silver lining is we get to deploy him against them if we see them in the playoffs with them not seeing him. Hes made for a game like this. If guys are out there, they’re expected to play at a high level. Josh Allen played half of last year with a broken hand. It’s football.

Assuming Benford plays.. The hope is probably this: Our ends have to contain rush on Lamar and set the edge against the run. The good thing is Bosa & Rousseau are elite run defenders and Epenesa/Jackson both have frames to do the above. Walker & Sanders have to be ready from jump. Nothing more needs to be said. Oliver & Jones should be fine but we’re going to need our two rookies to be ready to step up out the gate. Milano, Bernard and Johnson along with Williams all have to stay healthy this game and make an impact. Reason to believe they can. Especially with no Likely and if Ricard doesn’t play (Would help Taron a lot). Benford & Rapp need to stabilize the secondary and we’ll need Bishop & whoever plays CB2 to be serviceable, at least. Honestly, I think it all comes down to the DL. We don’t know what this starting line looks like with Bosa. Does his presence also help level up Oliver and Rousseau? Then we need our rookies to make an impact out the gate. If they can.. we’re in this.. if not.. our rotation will get eaten up and it will stress our back seven a ton.

What about Beane? The WR's and TE's are average. The OL is solid but from the skill positions its Allen and Cook who are the top playmakers. Shakir is a good WR and would make an excellent #3 and a good #2 but he shouldn't be the Bills #1 WR. We all know about the problems with the defense. Beane spent all offseason trying to strengthen this side of the ball. McDermott deserves his share of the blame for the playoff failures, but Beane is the GM, and he put this roster together. The Bills have an elite level QB with a good but not great roster.
