This is what I believe as well He is a man corner with diminishing skills, but that might make him a good fit potentially in a scheme that doesn't play man as much

Kurt Warner on Josh's recent INTs
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s true. Last year was an anomaly. Allen is tied number 1 with Trevor Lawrence for most turnovers of the last 5 years. But we all know where his TD #’s lie as well. I get that Brady is trying to limit the hero ball, but even with the WR troubles I think it’s best to let Allen out of his cage once in awhile. He’ll never gain that chemistry w/ his WRs unless they go through trial & error. -
This is it. This is what the decision was about. Not whether or not he is better than Tre or someone who will crack the top 3. It was a decision the Bills made believing he is an upgrade over Ingram. Nothing more than that

Week 14, Bungles v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!

Bengals 31 Bills 17 Same as the Texans have our number, the Bengals and Burrow continue their dominance over Josh Allen. The Bengals are able to move the ball with Brown enough that our already depleted pass rush gives Burrow all day to throw. The Bills offense isn’t able to keep up, as the Bengals defense makes enough key stops early to make the Bills play one dimension football after the half. -
Man... how can someone be mad about a former SB champ at a depth signing?! I get it doesnt help the pass rush or catching passes (from Allen) but now people wanna come to Buffalo for a chance. Take it for what it is rather than complaining its not a fictional WR/DE that doesnt exist at this stage of the season. Some of you are acting like Beane had a choice of Jefferson or Chase and chose Slay instead. Then people are still acting like its a novel joke that hasnt already been made 50x in the previous 8 pages...Yikes

Maybe you need some FoxyNewsss “It gives me no pleasure to say what I’m about to say, because I worked with Pete Hegseth for seven or eight years at Fox News,” Napolitano said on Tuesday. “This is an act of a war crime, ordering survivors who the law requires be rescued instead to be murdered, there’s absolutely no legal basis for it.” -
Can Slay get open as a WR?

I agree. Your guess is as good as mine. Cannot fathom why they haven’t given him a shot with a PS elevation. Apparently, he’s a poor man’s version of Hoecht. At least he played the Hoecht role in LA before Hoecht. Seems like something worth trying.

And if a WR1 or a DE became available, we'd be in on that too. But the best WR available lately was Brandin Cooks and we got him too. If you have a chance to upgrade anywhere at this point in the season, you do it. Slay is an upgrade over Ingram and puts us in a much safer position if we take an injury at CB.

Game week thread - Bengals at Bills (flexed to 1pm ET)
finn replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree, but I also thought they would beat Miami easily and take care of business in Houston. It's been a roller coaster of a year, and going into the home stretch, I'm still not confident I know who this team is. I wouldn't be surprised if they won out, and I wouldn't be surprised if they lost to the Bengals and New England and then lost in the first round of the playoffs. Either way, we'll be saying, "See? I told you so!" In a way, their utter unknowability makes them more fun to watch, since I have to temper my expectations, meaning I'll be less crushed if they lose (half expecting it) and more thrilled if they win (only half expecting it). Being a fan is weird. -
