  1. Past hour
  2. The run defense the last 4 weeks ranks EPA 25th after being Top 3 most the year. Injuries have really hurt them there. This isn't the same team we face earlier in the year.
  3. People are enamored with the idea that the Bills should pick WR in 1st round. Only about 1 out of 5 chosen become 1,000 plus yard receivers and most don’t get there until 3 seasons in. I am not saying do not make the pick if a candidate is there. I’m simply saying that the pick is not a lock.
  4. That was a terribly played game, but it doesn’t have nearly the same effect on our season due to being an nfc team
  5. I hear the Iron Horse Pub in Simsbury has a group of Bills fans every week but haven't been there. Simsbury is 20-25 minutes from WEHA, in the wrong direction if you're from Fairfield County.
  6. the woman driving being ok and all is amazing
  7. The only way to upgrade this receiver room is in the draft. Shakir and Palmer are locked up. Shavers will be retained. Coleman is under contract, but I think he gets traded in the off-season (see Elam for example). That leaves 3 opening for a vet (Davis/Cooks) and two draftees. We need to start developing our own boundary receivers with size and speed. I’m taking a WR early and another in the 4th or 5th. We need to get younger at the position with more upside and more contributors under cheaper rookie deals.
  8. yes but every year is more dire!
  9. i will fight you. all yall who bring this kind of slander.... all yall... will go down. AM550 in Statesville is the best AM550 in the world. it's actually my second favorite radio station in the world. if you ever go to Statesville or such - let me know to recommend some cool places to check out.
  10. I actually took the 20 minutes to watch that and it is pretty insane. Josh is still the MVP.
  11. Did you mean to include Bobby Hebert?
  12. Joe Marino on with Jeremy and Nate this morning. Making a nice case for how different the Bills team is now. I forgot that Mathis, Logue and Jackson played a bunch on the Defensive line that week plus the hobbled rapp running around.
  13. This week is taking foreverrrrrrrr
  14. You’re speaking out of both sides of your mouth, you say they are tied in EPA per play and then says overall Maye is ahead, how does that make sense?
  15. So wait, a sideways look at a particular topic and the mods have merged three threads in 5 minutes. But the actual GameDay thread full of pats wankers, one in particular, and crickets..!?! Just ban this dipstick already, it's boring and ruining the thread. Unless typing things into chatgpt and pasting the results here now counts as a contribution?
  16. What stain of DEI? She got roughly the same grades as Gorsuch with almost twice the workload. She was also (literally) a national champion debater in high school. I thought you guys were all about demonstrated objective merit? Or is that only a one-way street? As noted, he was not an academic superstar (relative to HLS), not even graduating towards the top of the class, but you for some reason only focus on those things for her. Why is that? For the record, I was actually friendly with the guy (he was fun to grab a drink with and shoot the *****) despite our political differences, so bear him no personal ill will despite my disappointment with his decisions and his crossing his fingers behind his back during his confirmation hearings. I just find it hysterical how you folks are so willfully blind on this issue.
  17. Our run defense is shored up the last few games. If we keep that up we can beat anyone.
  18. I see thousands of TV's turned off early and then... Well you know... " I knew the Bills would win, had to shovel the driveway "
  19. Not entirely true. I played around on the cap for next year and easily found about $50M. And that's not pulling every lever I could. Now, a chunk of that may go to sign our own and we do have other holes to fill, but there will be money, especially if contracts are stacked wisely. The real issue at WR next year is aside from Pickens, who the Cowboys are rumored to be happy to tag, well the pickens at WR are slim. Not much there and a lot of teams that will be looking for WRs in the off-season. Means the mediocre WRs that are out there are likely to get paid well. Davis being back next year wouldn't shock me. They probably would have kept him if Jacksonville didn't offer him a ludicrous deal. In order to upgrade the WR room, Beane is going to have to be creative....and if trading he is probably going to have to overpay. I don't see any way they can justify not spending high draft capitol on WR next year. And with the type of WR they have looked at and/or brought in (Waddle, Hardman, Cooks) they understand we lack speed. That's what I expect them to draft. Speed at outside WR.
  20. Palmer MVS Gabe. Watson Shakir Rice Shavers Ross Cooks. James That's a little better than kcs wrs in 23 but they had Kelce We have Kincaid So I still think we can get by Obviously not ideal but serviceable I'm hoping they roll with 6 wrs with Hardman in the playoffs
  21. And there's this highlight on her resume.
  22. this will be interesting for sure. One major problem was the commitment to Curtis Samuel. I had a look at our WR salaries on Spotrac, and we can finally cut ties with him after this season. Palmer is also a commitment, so I hope he pans out the next two years. given how tight this team’s cap is, there’s simply no room for error on signings with considerable guaranteed money.
  23. I think Davis stays next season. 2026 WR room: 1st round pick WR Shakir Palmer Davis Shavers 2nd or 3rd round pick WR Coleman Keep 6 (5 or 6) 7th will not make it
  24. ⬆️ lied about having children to prove some point on a message board.
  25. the 2026 discussion is interesting... You would assume Davis and Cooks are gone. Healthy Palmer (fingers crossed, but can we count on that from a planning perspective?), Shakir, Shavers, Coleman (he isn't going to get cut if I'm betting, just doesn't make financial sense) and a rookie or 2? Is THAT good enough? I guess it depends on who the rookie(s) is and their impact. We aren't going to be spending in FA because we don't have the money. Swing a trade for a disgruntled Justin Jefferson? I don't know.
