The NFLPA Is Becoming A Sham Organization
Billy Claude replied to BillsVet's topic in The Stadium Wall
What surprised me was that the union was so weak they couldn't get rid of the franchise and transition tag in exchange for adding game 17. They left so much on the table it wouldn't be shocking if someone at the top of the NFLPA was on the take. -

i don't think i could ever do one location, but it just depends how life works out as others have mentioned. i really do like this area this time of year. we are constantly in the thousand islands or the finger lakes. tons of good breweries and wineries, great restaurants, etc. on top of that, the weather is actually perfect...most of the time. a chunk of our family is scattered in southern florida, so i think the move would be to downsize and stay in rochester from june until january 1st. after that spend the rest of the year near palm beach. it will partly depend on our kids. as i think about this, i also realize that it is just as likely that i'll retire, sell everything associated with my work, only to die in the parking lot as i'm leaving the closing. i'll be so pissed if my wife gets all my *****.

Were there ever years you were disinterested in the Bills?

The Levy GM years kind of made me realize that I took my fandom too seriously and was too emotional invested so I took a step back. So now I don't get as upset at losses or wins. I still watch every game but at the end of the game I even scream in happiness or sadness and then move on from it. Where prior I'd let it fester. -
Oh she’s a keeper for sure. That’s the kind of woman you put a ring on.

Whenever that McKelvin fumble @Pats was. 2009? I just remember laughing instead of being heartbroken. I was just done with Trent Edwards and Dick Jauron at that point and was hoping we'd find a way to self tank that season. -
I want to see Taylor & Hailey in a cage match as the half time of the AFC Championship game between the Bills & the Chiefs winner takes all ...

I think everyone or most everyone gives McDermott and Beane credit for turning around the franchise. Everyone has enjoyed the regular season as they have done a lot of winning over the past few years. But it is also fair they (mostly McDermott) take their share of the blame for the playoff failures. The Eagles moved on from Reid and he had more success there than McDermott has had in Buffalo and he didn't have a QB as talented as Allen in Philly either. -
I wouldn't say disinterest but unemotional. I watched several years of the draught not paying much attention to the game. After about the first quarter, I would kinda tune out and just watch it like it was a preseason game. Chat with guys next to me, look up for a play and then go back to chatting. Now I stand up when the game is going. Sit down when the commercial breaks happen. Game starts back, I stand back up.

What's your ideal retirement location?

👍 My son might be moving to Bethel (Sunday River), Maine from Valparaiso, Indiana... This might be a game changer for us, especially with daughter in NE/Mid-Atlantic... -

94-95...seemed like we we're ending our great run. I became a Bills fan as a kid from LA because of OJ and then he has to completely lose his mind. Annoying and awkward period. -

It was in the neighborhood of 17 years at least after October as i knew it was hopeless by 11/1. I always had hope and still watched all the games only because I’m a masochist. Its probably why I get frustrated by some of the young fans who dont understand minus the SB years from 1988-2006, and maybe 2008-9 when we had the #1 defense in the nation, and flutie was fun to watch. The early 80’s after 1982 when Knox keft was miserable until 88 when we were on the goal post for the 2nd version of fandemonium, was an absolute horrible. I still have nightmares over guys like Kay Stephenson, the baffoon. Why these young people whine about McD and Beane is laughable. It’s like when you see the bratty kid in the grocery store throw repeated tantrums, and you just are witnessing weakness in parenting. Blending firmness with a loveable side so they know you care deeply.

Can fish drink? I have given a cigarette to a bluegill before. He didn't cough so he must have been a smoker already. -

Another method. It was actually 24%. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/products/databriefs/db443.htm#:~:text=In 2020%2C 24.2% of adults, for both men and women. In 2020, 24.2% of adults aged 18 and over met the 2018 Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans for both aerobic and muscle-strengthening activities. The percentage of adults who met both physical activity guidelines was higher among men (28.3%) than women (20.4%) and decreased with age for both men and women.
