So is Landon Jackson done for the year?

We said the same about Spencer Brown and Terrel Bernard so I'll give him a year or so. -

Agreed on all counts. If ever there was a game we need inclement weather, this is it. Wind, heavy snow, freezing temperatures.... anything to stop the Burrow to Chase/Higgins pitch and catch show and allow us to grind it out. Otherwise, with no pass rush to worry about, Burrow might have a field day, even against an improving secondary. Just checked: Looks like light snow with no wind. Oh, well. -
Does someone have the video? gimme the drama, LOL agreed - the teams are always in the power position because they hold the money. The waiver system applies to all teams, and therefore we had the right to claim him. I've always found the system a bit strange to be honest, but it's the same rules for everybody.

If anything rosenhaus is more worried the bills will hold it against him Rosenhaus won't hold it against the bills Look at the schefter tweet - at the end someone added something along the lines of " slay is honored an organization such as the bills would claim him" The added quote likely wasn't from slay -

Iām not sure what happens if he just refuses to retire and doesnāt report lol probably just gets fined a bunch of times. But if he āretiresā and tries to unretire weād have his rights still and heād negotiate to come back which could involve a trade to Philly -

Ja'Marcus Ingram claimed by Houston
HappyDays replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ingram just wasn't very good. He got his most snaps against KC and at times looked completely lost in those snaps. He got a few snaps the following week against Miami and since then he's been inactive in every game. He wasn't very good in run support either. The long Bijan Robinson TD run happened in part because Ingram couldn't get any kind of leverage against his blocking WR to make Bijan slow his feet. I get that he's been in our system but to me Dane Jackson and Ingram are identical in terms of impact on the field. Hopefully we never have to find out what it looks like if 2 of Benford, White, and Hairston get injured. -
Where does he say he doesnāt have a āSB roster?ā Genuinely curious.

DQ was out for the game and the depth couldn't get it done that game. I also don't remember who the corners were but dane Jackson and kaiir elam played a lot in those games which... Explains a lot of the issues with the game plan. -

Is he done for the year? Did he ever really begin? This kid is a classic Beane dev project. We'll see in a year or two. -

Not sure why Rosenhaus would care. He doesnt lose any money. His 12 year vet just sits home for the holidays by his own choice. -

I wish we did add more at WR, I'll make that clear. But I think there HAS to be balance to win championships in the NFL. Even looking back at the kelly bills, when another team was able to run the ball it screws everything up. Fewer possessions and more of a sense of urgency because of the lack of possession time. I don't think that means we need to run the ball constantly, I just mean I don't want to build a team around 2 WRs and 1QB if that makes any sense? To your 2nd point about what if burrow carves buffalo up? The entire offense would need to play amazing to win in that scenario. If Buffalo puts close to 200 on the ground against you, even incompletions or penalties, or sacks can become game killing plays because a running team squeezes the clock. We'll see how it plays out! I think on the road it's difficult to just say we're going to dictate, not to mention very different personnel on both sides - namely hopefully less playing time for dane Jackson and kaiir elam. -
I'm becoming more and more of the mind that McDermott is a good enough coach that we can win, but the issue is Beane's roster management. Especially once you get into the "who would you hire as HC" discussions and guys like Stefanski or Flores are mentioned. No thanks. Beane's signing have been bad overall lately, especially at WR. Samuel is never on the field. Same with Palmer. Maybe they would be great. But history suggests not. He's hit here and there, as any GM will, but it needs to be better. This repeating pattern of late of bringing back previously released players mid season is a sign of desperation and that the roster moves didn't work. IMO, McDermott wouldn't mind a change at GM. I believe he could do a lot better with better players. He can coach up the D but it only goes so far when Shaq Lawson is about to start a game for you in 2025.
