  1. Past hour
  2. He was dressed but they said he was only available in case of emergency.
  3. Will be interesting to see what his snap count was. He seemed to be out there early and often. And it didn't seem like it was too much for him when he was. Very surprised that he was activated so quickly and played as much as he did. Pleasantly so. Both are *very* uncharacteristic actions by such a conservative coach in McDermott.
  4. I must have missed the announcement before the game but did we know that Bernard was gonna be OUT for the game?
  5. The list of offensive head coaches who call plays is very long. Just off the top of my head: Andy Reid Kyle Shanahan Sean Payton Sean McVey Mike McDaniel Zac Taylor Liam Coen Shane Steichen Kevin O'Connell Kevin Stefanski Why is it so odd for a head coach to call defensive plays?
  6. Credit where credit is due - Moore had the block of the day on Shakir's TD.
  7. If he was progressing trading probably wouldn’t be possible.
  8. I don't want KC to win their division, so I want the Chargers and Denver to keep winning.
  9. If McDermott said he was calling plays, there would be nothing unprofessional or wrong with that statement. It's no different than a player getting benched. It's the national football league and it's a performance based league for players and coaches
  10. When whichever one of me typed that comes back, you're probably in big trouble.
  11. I think you're not being realistic thinking Sanders will be back soon. He had Knee Surgery just a few weeks ago. Though not anything reconstructive, I don't think you open up your knee and you're back that quick. McDermott said he was "hopeful" he returns "at some point". But didn't rule out him not returning. With him, I wouldn't expect him back before the very tail end of the year or in the Playoffs - if at all. They likely need to add 2 of the 3 from the field of Logue, Phillips, and Mathis. Right now, we're down to just Deone Walker and Larry Ogunjobi on the 53. Both Jordan Phillips and Zion Logue have used all 3 of their call-ups for the Regular season. I suppose they could sign one of them and elevate Mathis for up to two weeks (as they've elevated him once before this season), until Jones returns. But I imagine that he'll be out at least 1 more week, if not 2.
  12. Any win in the NFL is a huge win. Run game looked great today. Defense seemed to remember they’re supposed to be tackling the people in the other colored jerseys and it’s good to be back on the W side of the column again. We still however do not have a #1 receiver. We have a defense that can’t stop the run and is mediocre at absolute best in pass coverage. I really hope this is not the excuse McClapper and the Beane need to not do anything before the deadline. Not ready to go back to holding my breath for the wildcard while josh still has good years left
  13. That totally sucks for Oliver but now it's time to earn your draft status young buck or anyone getting elivated.
  14. I would say it’s mental as much as anything. Mentally, he is aware that his receivers create zero separation and don’t come back to the ball when he scrambles. Mentally, he is aware that his OC is trying to make him a system quarterback.
  15. "their" debut? You're thinking that the Bills might trade for a girl?
  16. I mumbled virtually the same exact thing to myself at one point today. He's overthinking it instead of just attacking it.
  17. Pats scored 22 points I. The 3rd quarters d moved the ball the entire second half. They also ran well against one of the best run D in the league. That said Garrett is a beast he had 5 sacks in the game..
  18. They also were load managing his return from injury. This is very frustrating to fans but hopefully over the fullness of a season it will pay off.
  19. It’s the same thing as it is every year chiefs and bills and everyone else. Figure out how to stop them or we will be here forever
  20. They need to add Logue to the active roster
  21. Watch this but have a barf bag ready. 10 straight seconds of NFL wide receivers who can’t get open.
  22. Weak punt there by the titans. What does that come out to be 18 total yards? Shoulda went for it
  23. They were calling him”the future”. Maybe the next Jeter? Also see 2S Dominguez. He was so good he needed a whole planet. But he sucks. Just like Scooby Doo, Chin and Parmesan.
  24. This isn't a positive development. Need a true DC he can delegate to. Sean needs to be working on fixing the passing O.
