Cook has unique burst and wiggle. Somehow, difficult to get a good tackle on despite his unusual frame. Gets lost in the mix then bursts for 8-9 yards. Has breakaway speed and has shown it consistently to the outside. He's worth paying. Not 15 but above 10.

I saw one of my ruby throat hummingbirds today. She was flitting around the solomon's seal near the front deck. Usually, the hummers don't show up until the hostas start blooming ... or maybe I just don't notice them because the solomon's seal in the backyard is pretty far from the house. I've also had purple finches and goldfinches show up at my feeders this week as well as a beautiful female hairy woodpecker (hairy woodpeckers look like downey woodpeckers, only much bigger and with a different shaped beak). I think that this might be the same woodpecker that hung around my feeders most of the late summer and into the fall last year since hairies aren't nearly as common as downeys. She was probably a young bird last summer, and figured my neighborhood was a good place to raise a family.

So the defense coming up big at the end last January is inconsequential because you perceive it as the only time? How many times has the Bills offense made big plays late in any of what were their elimination games in the Allen era? Once. In 6 defeats. And the only 2 games they've won in the divisional round against Baltimore were won by the defense making huge plays. In those two divisional WINS Josh Allen threw for a combined 333 yards with 1 touchdown pass in 8 quarters of football. Brutal. The equivalent of getting 40 hung on you defensively. In 4 home divisional round games they've scored a pathetic total of 71 offensive points. The people who buy this bullsh!t that the offense has been good enough and the defense has let them down have the 13 second performance on their brain and nothing else matters.

I'd think for the path to friendship to occur, it would take a substantial uprising by Palestinians against Hamas, remove them from power, and replace them with a less killy, rapey, butchery style of government. It has happened before, but it seems to me most Palestinians seem to support Hamas. You're not a fan of Israel, and you seem to believe in the innate goodness and decency of Hamas. Israel is not an innocent in all of this, but to me--in the current binary choice world I live in, it's not even close as to who we partner with--warts and all. That said, would you lay out the path forward where we partner with both Israel and Hamas? I'll keep an open mind.

Great news for the rest of the AFC Central--a waayyy over the hill narcissistic head case will now bring all of his HUGE baggage, distractions, and greatly diminished skills to the Steelers. Still can't believe they did not make a major push for a real quarterback this off season. And then they got rid of one of the best wide receivers in the league! Just like I said when he signed with the Jets, one less team the Bills can consider a threat of any kind. Maybe Tomlin's first losing season. And maybe his last with the Steelers. The Bills may get 10 sacks when they play them in November--in the unlikely event that rodgers is still playing at that point.
