  1. Past hour
  2. We seem to be inclined towards addictive behavior as a nation. We have the highest rate of Drug disorder PER CAPITAL in the world and it's not really close. We are the largest illegal drug market on the planet. Gambling is a problem and it's going to get worse
  3. Darnold just threw for 4320 yards and 35 TDs. Add another 210 on the ground. He is FAR from the worst starting QB. I think he has a chance to turn it around ala Baker Mayfield. Edit: Mayfield was pretty good in Cleveland so he didn’t really “turn it around.” Mainly injuries were his downfall. I’ll use Rich Gannon as a better example. People don’t understand just how much a terrible franchise w/ terrible ownership & coaching can affect a young (or old) QB. People will see when Aaron Rodgers all of the sudden becomes good again on the Steelers. We saw it with Geno too. I even think Zack Wilson will have a career renaissance at some point. I don’t even think Mahomes or Allen would’ve survived the Jets. I am rooting for Sam Darnold. I liked him at USC. The Jets set him up for failure. In regards to the original question. Worst starting QB to me is Anthony Richardson. This is what happens when you draft someone based on pure measurables/athleticism. Colts FO thought they were getting the next Josh Allen. Instead, they got the next Jamarcus Russell. I want to give an honorable mention to Bryce Young. I would’ve chose him, but he started to pick it up later in the season even taking the Chiefs down to the wire. He doesn’t have many weapons so I am giving him the benefit of the doubt.

  5. I always remembered this play and that's at Minkah's peak year.
  6. STILL You get so "woke" that you just spout nonsense.
  7. I'd probably go if I wasn't 2700 miles away.
  8. LOL, SaviorEdwards. of that was a great poster.
  9. This is all about Pitt trying to put it together for a run in a brutal division with two elite QBs whose teams are also all in. They're all in, collecting stud boundary athletes like Metcalf and Ramsey so that they can a) actually play man with conviction on D and b) win regularly on the outside on offense with a near-impossible-to-cover-completely specimen. Ramsey basically forced his way out, and the Dolphins took what they could get, which wasn't much.
  10. Which he apparently did not do last year while in Pittsburgh.
  11. Yeah if the "Bills Kid" doesn't show, I'm asking for a refund. I mean seriously, this looks pretty awful. It would be cool to get autographs from the rookies I suppose, but half of those people I can see at Hammers lot on a Sunday and have a beer with them for free.
  12. Fearmongering? That's a hoot. This same atmosphere almost brought down professional sports 100 years ago but thankfully strong leadership at the commissioner level and ownership dealt with it heavy handedly and for many years we were stable until the Hornung and Karras scandals. There is a reason why sports gambling was outlawed, and eventually we will see it be outlawed again.
  13. Ya but, now he is in Miami now, he is going to be compensating for other middling players and not be able to concentrate specifically on his own 1/11,
  14. Weird how many folks here think a safety (Fitzpatrick) is more valuable than an elite boundary corner. If people watch other games not involving Josh Allen, they might recognize that Ramsey is very good. Most league personnel certainly think that way. Fitzpatrick hasn't been that great the last couple of seasons, btw. Opposing QBs' passer rating against in in 2024 was 127.6. That's not a misprint. Anyway, an elite-level (talent-wise) boundary corner is more valuable than a safety, and in six of their last seven games last season including the playoffs, the Steelers D was basically shredded by Philly, Cincy x2, Baltimore x2, and KC. The lone good game they had late in the season was against the Browns, who didn't have capable quarterback.
  15. To be honest, the Steelers are known for that back in Polamalu days, and Polamalu was criticized back in his days for free ranging too much. Polamalu is a first ballot HoF. The Steelers were talking about letting Fitzpatrick to do the same to maximize his talent last few years. Well last 2 years showed that he is NOT Polamalu.
  16. POShaun Watson, in a landslide.
  17. Another win for @BillsFanNC and @B-Man
  18. How is that weird? Seems close to equal value when you consider the cap dump.
  19. We shouldn’t be slashing vital programs just to hand out more tax cuts to the wealthy. I’d much rather see the top 1% pay their fair share than gut support for the most vulnerable in our society.
