  1. Past hour
  2. I’d guess about 90% of this board was adament that we didn’t want to draft Coleman Shame that the fans appear wiser than the GM
  3. One of my earliest memories as a child was walking into a room, maybe I was 3, and my dad yelling at the TV. I can recall my dad saying “don’t hang your head Ferguson”.
  4. This is revisionist history-nobody thought they were “forcing” him there, everyone thought he was a legit 2
  5. I'm not saying he's perfect or even excellent tbh I think his drafts are generally solid if unspectacular
  6. Best version of this classic IMHO ...
  7. I'm not a part of the bills organization so I can't tell you what's going on in the war room right before it's about to happen But I wonder what the scout consensus at one Bills drive versus beanes train of thought is Is Brandon Bean taking Coleman because that's his guy... But he's willing to listen to his scouts in the sixth round and take Christian Benford because the pressure isn't as high Beane is not a trained on the road full-time scout.. he was a front office guy with some scouting training... I wonder if there's scouts screaming for guys that he doesn't pull the trigger for when he can Because he has his plan Bills have always had a pretty solid scouting department.. overthinking them is how you draft bums
  8. If they are benching him it’s because he’s not doing what he’s supposed to be. Whether he’s not trying or being a dooshnozzle when he’s being coached/taught criticized. This is the pros. If you don’t wanna then someone else will. You can be sure of that.
  9. Good stuff. I just think to all the missed opportunities. Humphries vs Boogie still burns my butt. He could have traded further up to get the CB he wanted and instead forced the Elam pick vs. BPA. Mcconkey was right there... right there! ARGH!!!
  10. Yes Davis on field = run Davis off field =pass Good news is, since he’s new, it’ll be midway into the 2nd quarter before the other team notices.
  11. Do the Bills throw those????
  12. This was potentially the get right game for Coleman as TB struggles to defend the wide out passes on the boundaries.
  13. Yes, very frustrating. I remember when we picked Elam: I preferred Woolen, even in the first because I believed in his talent and mentality. Granted, we could have had him later (we did take Cook in the second that year) but it’s that kind of thing too often that has left us with a superstar QB and a slightly above average / average talent roster.
  14. True and that seems to be why Beane has a meh record in the first two rounds. He seems to draft for needs and potential as opposed to performance. In later rounds, he settles more on performance.
  15. That's because the Bills tried to force him to be a #2 WR instead of a #4 WR
  16. Gutsy win for the Sabres. Don't get to say that very often.
  17. Just want to point out that this is NOT what people on this board were saying about Davis after about his third year.
  18. RIP Todd Snider.
  19. I think it’s more of an indictment on Beane signing C players to B contracts and B players to A contracts whilst also not using them. an alarming stat is: “46.7%of Khalil Shakir's receptions this season have come from passes caught at or behind the line of scrimmage that’s just on the offensive side of the ball. We’ll save the absurd contract talk on defense for another post.
  20. November 15, 2025. First road win of the season.
  21. First round contracts give you a fifth year option But realistically there's not 32 first round picks.. the top 10-15 is filled with blue chip football players with blue chip athleticism and traits with football IQ then there's the first round picks that people are reaching on for athleticism hoping their football talent and IQ will catch up But between 30 and 70 is where pure football players are.. metrics are not always the most important.. this is where guys who played great ball at Big conferences with production and football IQ are and always have been... What I call pure football players And beane has struggled there
  22. I guess maybe they were waiting for a player that could replace his role blocking, maybe they felt Shavers wasn't there. Now that Gabe Davis is available, if he's healthy he can at least perform Coleman's blocking assignments just as well.
  23. No Evans, Godwin, or Irving. I get that the Bills have their injury issues too but: Bills 24-14
