What does "Complimentary Football" mean in Bills Coachspeak?

Stay traditionally conservative with tightly controlled procedures and don't let one unit foul things up for everybody else. -

It is word salad and is just tossed around to lettuce feel confident in our coaches window dressing. -
Good on them. As a feral teen, I was enrolled and boarded at St Francis for the first two years of HS. I believe "sent away" was the preferred nomenclature at the time, but I don't recall anyone else there in my circumstances, mostly well-off families with ivy-league hopes for their kids. There were about 30 kids who boarded at the time. I worked as a janitor after school to help pay for tuition. Lived down the hall from the gym. Way back when Dan Neaverth JR and David attended. Stayed out of trouble there mostly, but alas they were not able to make me a good catholic.

If Cooks can run faster than this, we have an upgrade.

And black and white for the most part. Pete Carroll and Russ Wilson have tarnished their legacies. John Schneider has burnished his. The highest paid OC in the NFL... $6 million per. That could have been written about Joe Brady and how the NFL has figured out a college play caller as well as the part about play repetition and leaving the tackles on islands without help... too familiar.

I generally understand the concept of complimentary football, trying to harmonize offense , defense and special teams strategizes to create synergies greater than the sum of the parts. My personal observation is we try to manage the offensive cadence to compensate for problems on the defensive side of the ball, in a way that meaningfully reduces the sum of the parts. But my question is what does the coach really mean when he says "we need to play complimentary football". Is he saying 1) as head coach, I am not doing a good job of getting the units working together or 2) the units are not properly executing my complimentary game plan or 3) something else ?

Lofton vs Cooks...Fingers Crossed!

Love the positive thinking, I've been straining myself to get a glimmer of hope out of this. Maybe, just maybe, Cooks can be the equivalent of Emmanuel Sanders to this offense. And maybe, just maybe, Keon comes back with some fire and shows some promise. If by playoffs we are rolling with a reinvigorated Keon and Cooks on the outside, with Shakir in the slot, and rotating in Davis and Palmer, that may not be the end of the world. Maybe Keon doesn't have it and Davis takes over that spot. Still not a good WR room there is no way around that, but could be slightly better than what we have had so far this season, and just enough to get it done while leaning heavy on Cook and Kincaid. This is what I am clinging to! -
Also didn’t burn a 3rd pick.

The debate over Allen will end when they win a championship. The McDermott offense is “ neutering the greatness “ out of Josh. The plays we need are the type we saw in the comeback against Baltimore. The risk adverse plan IS the reason the receivers we bring here do nothing. The Bills get stuck in their problems instead of finding solutions through change. We have the “ must make Kincaid great” scheme which has never happened and won’t happen. We need big bodied receivers like Keon Coleman scheme—-fail. Complementary football through running instead of letting Josh Allen be himself. McDermott has to cover for his sh@t scheme and the mediocre drafting of Beane. Watching Houston’s Athletic defense fly around and make plays laid bare McDermotts failed philosophy and insistence on old heads instead of athletes. Where is our player development on defense ? Kromer does it with the O-Line but McDermott fails on the Defensive side year after year. Sean, Sean, Sean. Coaching is the reason for Allen’s issues this year. I know, I’m off topic.

This makes sense to me

I like that this formula shows years out the potential schedule. 30 years ago it was a crap shoot to guess after the season who they would play.

that recipe sounds amazing!. I told hubby you put sliced oranges and apples I Love that idea. I'm going to ask he to try that. For turkey he stands by using mesquite wood chips. The aromatic herbs are Key. Happy Thanksgiving to my TBD online amigos!

This team has become way too complacent. Too many guys just glad to be collecting a paycheck and have lost the fire. McD’s message to the team has gotten old and stale. IDK if Cooks is a fiery guy but maybe he can add a little juice and get Josh’s head back in the game. We saw Josh pop out of his shell against TB then he got the sht beat out of him against Houston. Let’s see what Josh show’s up against Pittsburgh. As for McBeane, neither of them are going anywhere so as much as I’d like to clean house, it 100% is not happening. Pegula is not getting rid of these guys no matter what the outcome of this season when we are opening a new stadium next year. I’ve said it before, but I think the best we can do is get rid of the OC/DC and get 2 EXPERIENCED guys in there to radically shake up the offensive and defensive schemes. IDK if McD has the humbleness to hand over the reigns of the D to someone else, but his scheme is old and washed when you don’t have the defensive talent that Houston does to run it.

They need to get Brown on the short term IR and see if maybe PRP could help heal the labrum enough for the playoffs. My non Doctor (but I could call myself somekind of a cool Dr name on social media) @$$ feels he should get surgery on the labrum the week after we finish the season. Get on that ASAP so he can rehab as fast as possible -
Please tell that the sarcasm wasn’t lost on you?

1. No Jim Kelly and the K Gun offense that pushed the ball down the field. 2. No Andre Reed. But Kudos on the positivity!!

Eager to hear from McDermott today. Hopefully we can get some clarify on the injury front, good or bad. Will Spencer Brown or Terrel Bernard go to IR? Will Kincaid get a practice in? Curtis Samuel?
