  1. Past hour
  2. Klint Kubiak is going to be the hot name this hiring cycle. Kliff Kingsbury is a possibility I suppose. Nobody else really excites me. I've seen Jim Bob Cooter's name mentioned but that's not his offense in Indy. I would prefer someone who is offensive minded paired with an experienced DC.
  3. Me thinks it will be Kromer . Keep the run game a strength and try and get some stuff going and limp into the playoffs .
  4. Considering we still have a GM and we might have the same one in September it's hard to know who's going to be available when or if our job opens up I do know that I would prefer somebody who has considerable scouting experience if it does open... More than just front office experience
  5. The word "hero" gets used a lot these days. Celebrities are called heroes when courageously disclosing personal information about their sexual orientation, drug abuse, or whatever. Political commentators are called heroes for expressing uncomfortable "truths." Athletes are called heroes for playing through injuries. I'm not demeaning of that. But, to me, people who risk their lives in the service of something greater than themselves are the real heroes. Bob Kalsu was one of them. www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/memorial-day-memories-of-bob-kalsu
  6. Dallas gave 2026 2nd and 2027 first. For the Bills to beat that, that's probably at least the Bills 2026 and 2027 firsts based on where we typically pick, and maybe an additional later round pick and that's if the Jets were even interested in making the deal with a division rival. In any case, it would've needed to be a massive overpay. He's a good player, but I'm not doing that. Garrett WIlson on the other hand would make me think hard even though I don't know how they'd fit his contract into the cap situation.
  7. Yeah bc defense has always been a liability on Bill Belichick coached teams 🙄
  8. if the effort is not there then you sit him, it's very simple... yet its not been done WHY? put Moore out there he catches more passes then this scrub.
  9. Agreed 100% and Ive never said otherwise
  10. Lost in the Logue-jam of interior linemen

  11. I saw some stat that through the first 10 games.. players in history to have 2,500+ passing yards, 70.0%+ completions, 250+ yds rushing, 5 or fewer INTs... is? Drake Maye. That's it, that's the list. He's god.
  12. McDermott is on his 9th 1/32 chance. 8 of those with one of the two top QBs in the NFL. Its just not a good performance.
  13. Ok, but Terry was given his name from the consulting firm. If he was Whaley's favorite out of what they provided, great. Didnt mean much because Terry was ready to move on anyways.
  14. Get ready, because the future you've described will most likely be the reality. Only 1/32 get to be the top dawg every year.
  15. Shut down the board then. Whats the point to any of this? Dont bother watching the games either, following your logic. We're fans, it's a hobby. And it's a discussion board. How about contributing a real opinion other than "none of this matters, man"?
  16. Anyone else see the snow pictures the bills text blasted out today? I wish this site would let me post pictures. 60% of the seats covered and protected is a damn sham. Snow covered seats even in the top row. Only part of the stadium not covered is the field. Snow melt is working.
  17. This is the most rational thought on the situation I have seen. Having said that, someone has to win the Super Bowl this year, and every contender has pretty big flaws. Bills probably still have a 1 in 10 chance.
  18. 😂 I hear ya man. He was my favorite pick this year at the conclusion of the draft. (Hawes eventually became my favorite pick once I learned more about his skillset.) Kincaid was my favorite pick the last 5 years
..and he’s just been an enigma of epic proportions. My favorite picks of other eras include Sam Cowart, Marshawn Lynch and Sammy Watkins đŸ€ŠđŸ»â€â™‚ïž
  19. What NFL HC job has opened up, at any point recently or not, has been a better place to step into and win immediately? Im drawing a blank, I'm sure there has been, but this has g2 be at the top. Let the names roll in and see what you have. Spend some $$ and gather some top consultants. I dunno, youre a billionaire, how would he hire a different job at a company he owns, that he couldn't possibly know anything about doing, on a personal level? Do that lol
  20. Well imo we will be wasting another one of Josh's prime years running it back with these two. We've seen everything there is to see. I have zero confidence that they will pick a great wr in the draft, and we know they damm well can't afford a top flight FA WR, so we will get another Keon Coleman prototype for WR and then the will draft defense with the next 3 picks, circling back to offense in the 5th round. I dontvwant to play this game into Josh's 30s. If we do, we may be having conversations about who we can draft to replace Josh
  21. Very hypothetical.
  22. This is true This is not true. When I say that Whaley wanted McDermott and pounded the table for him, it is not idle speculation or reading tea leaves. I was given first hand information that was who Doug was fighting for, prior to the hire.
  23. What #2 seed are the Chiefs getting by to play the Patriots?
  24. Who do I WANT? -Howie Roseman, Andy Reid and Steve Spagnuolo... and I'd trust Reid to hire his OC. Get the top minds anywhere to go with Allen, Pegula! Oh, that's impossible? Then... Who do the Bills NEED? -See above. If we can't get them, then Shanahan or McVay would be good starts at HC. I know they are all under contract, so I'd then think about what veterans are available. However, I'd more likely take a swing at the top young offensive minds... someone who can mentor Josh Allen and give him a scheme that suits his strengths. Add a Jim Schwartz or another DC that can handle that side of the ball without question. I'd rather the team hire a GM that is an accomplished scouting mind (like Joe Schoen) and hire a separate experienced team to manage contracts and salary cap. While you still have Allen, money should be no object however you decide to do it.
  25. So you're all torqued up for Lane Kiffin (which I do like, but he'll remain a college coach), but you also admit that change will not happen until Josh is at least 32 years old. Why put yourself thru all that wasted energy? This team is just a billionaire's fun time hobby.
