  1. Past hour
  2. Of course there’s pessimism. This is the Buffalo Bills. We’ve NEVER won a Super Bowl. Are you pessimistic the Sabres win the Stanley Cup this year? SAME THING! 110 years combined haven’t yielded a single trophy, It IS our lot in life. 🤷‍♂️
  3. Maybe. It's not that I didn't like what we saw of Gore in the Preseason but he's not a bull in a china shop either. Davis was supposed to be that guy and when given the start, he played very well last year against the Jets, and did well generally when thrown too. Much of what we are seeing is that he gets his carries often when defenses are playing the run as opposed to Cook who plays when the whole play book is available. Davis may never be a star and we may need a better # 2 RB. Of note, how is Ty Johnson doing this year?
  4. Just looking back at the game threads from Sunday and I was tickled by Walker being called "The Big Man" a lot. He works in world of big men and to be called THE big man shows he's getting noticed by doing a good job as well as being a VERY big man.
  5. Stage is set for Sunday afternoon 🤷‍♂️
  6. How was he walking around after this? Rubber band ligaments?
  7. Where is the video of the segment?? I can't find it anywhere...
  8. Thanks very much for collecting these, Happy Days. Great stuff, very promising.
  9. Overall pessimistic? No, not really. But I wasn't quite as optimistic as many over the first few weeks. I think they've got a very legit shot at it, still. As usual. And that one of these years, we will absolutely get there. Possibly this year. I'm right in the middle. It's really tough, really really tough to win a Super Bowl, especially with Mahomes playing for Reid in your conference. But they have a real chance, I think. I do hate to see New England rising. I hated seeing them hire Vrabel. He knows how to put together a football team.
  10. I guess only time will tell, the literal things we need to do are win the AFC Championship game and win the Super Bowl but we have to get to those games in order to climb the mountain. We have plenty of scar tissue accumulated over the last 5 years, only the Chiefs are truly battle tested imo and our postseason games have mostly been close. The Chiefs also have a more difficult Divisional race this year, will that have an impact? I am trying to remain positive that we can still achieve the Buffalo Bills Super Bowl dream this year!
  11. Meyers, definitely. If not likely after the Lockett addition yesterday. Olave is not. Everyone under the sun, between the team and reporters have said he won't be traded. Beyond that, it's been reported that the Saints and Olave are working towards an extension. There was a possibility if he rebuffed their advances they'd move him. But he isn't doing that. Shaheed or Cooks is a different story. Jordan Addison? I don't know where all the talk of him is coming from. Is it just that they're a losing franchise? Bc no one of substance is talking about a potential Addison trade. Just "what if" scenarios from randos.
  12. Today
  13. Exactly. You watch teams like the Niners and they scheme their receivers open.
  14. Even with the weight, he wasn’t good. I suggested that they should have tried to trade him in the offseason before people realized he wasn’t good. If we are being real, he shouldn’t have been a roster lock this year despite decent numbers last year. The numbers exceeded the skillset. He’s Zack Moss. They don’t need him at all; they have a better back on the PS. He’s here this year and by all accounts a great dude. He’s just the perfect example of settling. He came in this year as the unquestioned number 2 and many people wanted the Bills to let Cook walk and turn the reigns over to him. 🤣🤣 Fortunately, the Bills were smart enough to get the Cook deal done despite the pushback from the elite football minds calling WGR. @NoSaint hit the nail on the head with people reading box scores instead of looking at skill sets.
  15. The difference is Denver and the Chargers aren't pushovers and losing to the Bills hurts the Chiefs in Conference tiebreakers.
  16. He’s worse. And it’s not even a question.
  17. It can be looked at in another way: C Olave, J Addison, C Ridley (remember D Adams out w a hammy last year), J Jeudy, and J Meyers - all seem like possibilities.
  18. There were a few people saying these things. A very small few. The things many people were actually saying were these. "Hasn't shown himself to be a pass blocker, a " "Hasn't shown himself to be a top six guy, much less a top two to four guy, which is who you pay $15M a year to." "Hasn't shown himself to be worth $15M a year." "Davis isn't as good. But we might get by with him and another answer or two in 2026 if the alternative is to pay Cook $15M a year without seeing whether he proves he's worth it in 2025." At this point he does look worth the $15M contract he asked for. I thought he was going to play this year without a second contract and try to earn the big numbers, or that if he wanted a contract this year he'd settle for around $10 - $12M. He didn't want to bet on having a great year and on staying healthy, which I totally understand, it would have been a big bet on his health. And based on how he's playing so far this year he might have easily have gotten the $15M if he stays healthy and productive. I didn't think he'd be as good as he's been, I didn't. But I knew it was a possibility, as did most of us, even the ones who thought that paying him $15M based on what he'd shown in his first three years was not a smart idea.
  19. Me and you and a dog named Boo Traveling and a living off the land Me and you and a dog named Boo How I love being a free man
  20. Shakir is the only one who seems to be able to be available. Bills WR room is one of the worst in the NFL, if not the worst. It’s bottom 5 definitely
  21. This is a great point. Extra money for the NFL. But a huge and unfair advantage for the #1 seed.
  22. Ray dropped 15 pounds, (not a good decision- Bills need a power back), yet still seems slower that last year.
  23. Justin Shorter over Puka Nakua
  24. Gabe was a #2. Before the injury, anyway. And no, nobody is thinking he's a WR1. Sigh. Kincaid, Shakir and Josh Palmer say hi. Yeah, we get it, no true #1 WRs there, but those are absolutely three weapons.
  25. I'm sorry, did you say TWO 1st's and a 3rd... for Jordan Addison?! I mean, I like Addison. But that's insane. Tyreek Hill went for a 1st, a 2nd, 2 4th's, and a 6th in 2022. We got Stefon Diggs in 2020 for a 1st, a 5th, and a 6th. Addison isn't 2020 Diggs or 2022 Tyreek. I get the idea of trying to blow someone away with a trade. But if we're trading away multiple 1st's and a 3rd - it had better be a Top 10 WR1 in the league. That would be a major overpay. That's like a Quarterback trade.
