  2. Buffalo vs Houston 1989 Kelly to Reed in ot
  3. The Coleman & Carter picks look like busts. But I really like Bishop, Davis, Grable and Solomon. Solomon has pass rush traits that could continue to develop. I want to see how he develops over the next couple years. Grable looks like a possible starter at guard next year imo. Davis imho is solid insurance for Cook. As we saw against the jets in 24. Bishop looks great. The wildcard pick is Clayton in a couple years.... That's not something to just dismiss If Bishop, Grable become high level starters & Solomon can at minimum develop into a decent pass rush specialist That's a good draft for mist gms. But the Coleman pick is terrible and embarrassing
  4. It is very odd to me - but in a way makes complete and total sense - that McD seem to favor the exact style of offense that his D has the most trouble stopping. It is almost Freudian.
  5. Maybe it's just receny bias but I got a great feeling about our offense tonight. I know the Texans defense is really good but I think something unlocked against Tampa. Just a gut feeling Let's go Buffalo!!
  6. Okay I have trouble understanding this lol But give me a playbook and three weeks of camp and I'm on it coach!
  7. Pitre is one of the top slot DBs in the NFL. He hits, covers, and reacts great. Big loss for Texans
  8. You can’t look at total passing yards per game as a metric because opponents run it so well that they pass less often. If you look at things like yards per attempt, then the Bills have a pretty average pass defense.
  9. Spider 2 Y Banana on 3
  10. I agree with everything you're saying here. I was just making a larger point on old school football Orthodoxy and how some of it is misleading No doubt, we must improve with our run defense I think the 06 colts had the worst run defense in the NFL, but they're an outlier
  11. Lori wrote the most thorough Bills gamedays
  12. Today
  13. Well, I mean, if we're taking a guy with a 4 catch, 90 yards, 1 TD performance and comparing him to a Hall of Famer - Cole Bishop has to *at least* be Ronnie Lott 🤣
  14. Scatter to West right tight, F left , 372 y stick z spot That's a simple gruden play call
  15. Luckily thanks to many years reading this board I understand this stuff perfectly Tbh I’m less confused by it than I used to be but it’s the speed that they process this stuff that leaves me in the dust.
  16. It's just like learning French or Spanish Football is a language that these people are learning for 15 years... You also get what you put in That's why some players don't last long because at the NFL it's even more complex than college Jon gruden is historically known for Old School West Coast 20-word verbiage plays You need to be extremely smart to execute his offense
  17. Seems like a solid, intelligent guy whose head is in the right place. Somewhere else, I posted that skill-wise, he was more or less a jag. But I want to be wrong. I root for him and hope he becomes a regular contributor to the Bills offense.
  18. This video is 2 weeks old but it popped up in my feed. I thought it was pretty cool. First time I seen a sideline sheet up close and explained. Also goes through a little evolution of it. If you were ever curious about the sideline sheets, like me, this is a cool video. On a side note, I can't believe players remember all that *****.
  19. Ronnie Lott cut off his pinky so he wouldn't Miss time due to injury Until Bishop is willing to sacrifice a limb Ronnie lot is not a line I'm willing to cross
  20. I'm surprised the poster that keeps comparing Tyrell Shavers to John Stallworth hasn't said Cole Bishop is already better than Ronnie Lott.
  21. Rooting for the Colts... No way I want to see KC in the playoffs again. If they don't make it, I'm sure we'll see them again next year anyway.
  22. His magic 8 ball probably
  23. I think Billy Joe hobert also had severe ADHD He seemed adverse to studying Play books
  24. I have "severe" adhd according to the shrink I went to a few years back. I always suspected it. While I loved football and cherished big hits while playing defense, I never was good at studying a playbook, lol.
