Ah Hancock and yes I knew that somewhere in my brain do you think his issue was more run defense and getting confidence there allowed him to start just playing on passing downs and not think as much on those downs? I guess, how does Poyer playing help Bishop on clear passing downs when Poyer is not in the game typically?

There have been so many funny Tv characters over the years. From Taxi you have Latka and Rev Jim. I already mentioned Archie, George, and Fred. Also, from Sanford and son you have Aunt Estha. George and Kramer from Seinfeld. It's hard to pick one but Al Bundy is up there as one of the best TV characters. No doubt about that.

I know people are concerned about the run defense but it tends to get really hard for any team to run the ball in the postseason. Run defense is about effort and execution and the Bills are bad right now simply because of a lack of those two things and that's very controllable. The 2017 Bills defense post-Dareus trade couldn't stop a regular season run to save their lives...........but in the playoff game in Jax their run defense would have sent the run-first Jags to Cancun if they just had a Sammy Watkins or Bob Woods to throw to and put some points on the board. What's REALLY concerning is the extremely poor pass rush the past couple weeks. They are going to have to get creative because they probably can't even win a WC game on the road if they don't rush the passer better than that.

I had lenses put in both eyes and the right one has become a bit cloudy. Had my appointment this morning and have the 2 minute laser "cleanup" scheduled early next month 1 week apart. He said that 80-90% of people who have had lenses inserted will need this procedure... which, like you said, only takes a few minutes. Also said that I will never need it again... it is scarring from the initial implants that most encounter.

It is very likely he plays tomorrow as McD won't sit him for two games cos of a missed team meeting. He has to play well in multiple games to build up the confidence of his coaches, team mates and fans . A bad outcome would be that he produces tomorrow and goes back to his casual ways. Agreed, I am not sure if Buffalo is guaranteed to catch New England, and I am much more scared of Patrick Mahomes in the Playoffs than I am of Daniel Jones. Both scenarios have upside, but I want the Chiefs out of the picture if possible.

He isnt subject to waivers. His prorated guaranteed salary for the reminder of the season is around 518,000 so I dont think salary is an issue either. If the Rams or the Patriots are willing to sign him to the 53 I could see him going to either place. If its the PS then Buffalo, Denver, would also make sense.

As team building has became more of a science.......it's moves like the Herschel trade that allow ANY coach to be good. Without McNabb Andy Reid never takes off as a HC in Philly and without Mahomes he gets fired after the 2017 playoff choke against Mularkey. Obviously Belichick without Brady ends very differently. If Johnson had stayed at the U he would have done what Saban did at Alabama. He had elevated that program so far that they won 2 more natty's after he left on the strength of his recruiting. And if he doesn't leave Dallas they win almost certainly 4 straight SB's. So yeah, all he did was quickly re-tool a Dolphins roster that had put all it's chips into old vets for Shula in 1995 and get to the playoffs 3 of his 4 seasons there.
