NFL to Have Vote That Would Alter Playoff Seeding

Agreed. You get a spot because of winning the division but then the whole thing needs to be based on record. -

I fully expect to beat them. We. added two guys on offense that creates separation amd we added talent on D. -

Might help us actually. Imagine the Bengals get in as the #7 seed at 10-7 and the Texans win the AFCS at 9-8 (not a super unlikely scenario). If we're the #2 seed, in the current format we'd play the Bengals even though the Texans would be the more favorable opponent. In the new proposed format we'd play the Texans because they'd now be the lower seed. So as a higher seed you'd always be guaranteed to face the worst remaining team based on record. -
Sometimes leaks end up on the thigh. So when that happens this guy is on it.

I didn't catch that. Thanks. If this rule was put in last year the WC games for the AFC would have just had the Chargers host the Texans in the WC round. Everything else would be the same. NFC would have same teams but three different WC matchups.... WC Games would've been Bucs @ Eagles, Rams @ Vikings, and Packers @ Redskins. -

New playoff seeding proposes that KC automatically gets the #1 seed. I read that somewhere. Sorry no link. -

That’s the spirit! Go Bills! -
See I think that’s a big part of the problem…resellers like Stub Hub were at one time just a means for one person to sell their ticket to another. Whether the people involved made a profit, broke even or lost money didn’t matter to Stub Hub as it just collected its service fee for making it happen. Now these companies buy up the tickets right when they come out, and turn a $150 face value ticket into a $300 ticket to anyone wanting to buy it.

That was when KC's defense was at its most vulnerable and they had a terrible LT. It was also before Worthy emerged as a consistent threat, and no Rice or Hollywood Brown. The Chiefs' offense will be plenty good. -
Bills announce training camp headed back to SJF

Or do what I did once. Arrive at 4am and park on campus. Nap in your car until camp starts. -
My only request is please bring back the red or the showcased blue helmets with our normal uni. No color rush crap. Blue on white or white on blue or all white is fine. I like the color helmets so just one diehard bills fan’s opinion.

Brokers and people who resell get a raft of crap when games are in demand, but no one sheds a tear or cares when you're eating $6 tickets. Resellers serve as insurance to team owners. They ensure venues are fully sold while absorbing the fluctuations in pricing. The teams make money on resales. Where do you think part of those massive add-on fees go?

There is a time and a place for both. We don’t eat much red meat, but when we do it’s a treat. I had a new burger this week just added to the lunch menu at a regular place I go. They have “specialty burgers” for $15-$18, but they added a simple single patty with tomato, red onion and pickles plus fries for $9.95. That’s all I can eat anyway! I’ll do that again. I looked at steaks this week in the grocery store. A couple of NY Strips was $36, and a couple tenderloins was $41. That’s just for the meat, then you have to take it home and make it. I kept walking. The wife won’t order steak when we go out because she says we make it better at home (sous vide and properly seasoned). It’s hard for me to argue that. I probably have a burger a bit more often, but I prefer the less frequent steak so that got my vote. 🥩

Somebody asked me if I found her attractive. She’s an ugly, disgusting subhuman pos -
Gotta say I don’t love ANY of it, but if I’d rather the club make the profit, as opposed to some middle-man reseller. They are also the ones that have invested the most and have the most at risk.

I honestly thought this was going to say they were considering letting 10 teams per conference make the playoffs so they can have a Super Duper Rootin Tootin Wildcard Weekend. I guess Cleveland and the Jets would still miss out -

The stable genius tariff consequences are just beginning https://www.cnbc.com/2025/05/16/consumer-sentiment-may-inflation-expectations-tariffs.html -
If the economic outlook of a country IMPROVES when tariffs go away, what does that say about tariffs?

This year my season tickets cost $85/gm. Next year my seats in, roughly same area as now, will be $166. 🤷♂️ I did and a lot of folks are. We'll see what happens when the crap really hits the fan blades later on.
