  1. Past hour
  2. I don't think there's any bending of the rules here. Sanders was fully going until last week when it was reported he had a knee injury and now he had to get surgery. I highly doubt they're choosing to get unnecessary surgery on their high 2nd Round Pick and voluntarily upending his development just to fit Larry Ogunjobi on the roster. As for Hairston, they're clearly being overly cautious with him. They don't want to give him a full load, even in practice until he's fully healthy.
  3. Patricia was such an upgrade. Watching Knowles and Penn St. fail brings a smile to my face.
  4. What we learned today (but we already knew): Curt Cignetti = good, James Franklin = bad
  5. IR used to mean a player was out for the season. I heard now it means the player will be out longer than 4 games? I’m uncertain of what the rules are
  6. Raptors fired Casey and immediately won a title. Bucs fired Dungy. Eagles fired Reid. All of those teams won a title. There have been several instances where a team got a new HC to put them over the top. And sometimes a HC needs a change too.
  7. Need this defense to figure itself out in the next 7 weeks
  8. Last week: Stefon Diggs returns to Buffalo. This week: Zion Logue returns to Atlanta!
  9. Knowles 😭
  10. I really hope Hoecht and Ogunjobi aren’t a couple of JAGS. A lot of hopes and dreams riding on these guys to right the ship on D. Not so sure they’ll be the cure.
  11. We are so thin in the secondary, especially considering the dialogue around the roster depth during TC.
  12. he'll briefly be a Tight End, only to transition to Wide Receiver
  13. Good point on O gun taking sanders spot and just having an elevation for this weekend (Mathis or Phillips). Hoecht coming back would mean 6 DEs but I suppose with only 4 DTs and 1 fewer S they could make it work. Boy are they thin in the secondary.
  14. Sanders getting hurt saves Ogunjobi from getting cut. When did Hamlin get hurt? What is the injury?
  15. I enjoy college football more than pro ball at this point. The Bills are the only thing that keep me interested. It’s closer to the form of football I grew up appreciating. The NFL seems more in the entertainment/story line business. I just wish there were more relevant teams in the northeast, creating better fan interest in these parts. Water cooler football talk is always fun, but you don’t get it with college football up here. That’s another factor why I still keep up with the NFL.
  16. call Justin Simmons, we don’t have any reinforcements coming in the safety room.
  17. Oregon just got homered at home. Hochuli is that you?
  18. The Eagles and Bills are both struggling. I've seen the comparison. Very true. Who knows what will happen. But one team has won 2/3 SB's in seven years. An owner who quickly moves off of coaches not getting the job done. A defense that has elite players. Experience. Great drafting. The other has a talent deficiency on defense. Hasn't sniffed a SB. Defense gets shredded consistently in postseason losses. Not so great drafting. If you were forced to choose, which team would you have more faith in to turn it around? It's been nearly three years since the incident. Everyone loves the story. But the team needs to start looking at performance on the field.
  19. Yeah, I fully believe in CTE and things of that nature, but it’s typically far more complicated. Sanchez was king of USC and a highly sought after recruit. These guys don’t have to follow rules the majority of their lives. Some guys are just good dudes, others are trouble waiting to happen once they enter the real world.
  20. Not sure if this is of any interest but I thought the contrast would be a nice distraction. I've watched parts of 5 games today. I would say the general difference is in college there is more of a "let them play" attitude. They just missed or failed to call a blatant block in the back on a Texas punt return TD. No way that is missed in the pros. On the other hand, there seems to be so many ticky tack PI calls in the NFL. In the Ohio State Illinois game there were several no calls on PI that woudl have been called in the NFL. I think if they called it fair both ways, I enjoy the college attitude towards officiating. Call the blatant stuff and otherwise let them play.
  21. I think Sanders will be back. If a torn meniscus, which seems possible with the team giving him a week to see how it responded- then somewhere in the 6 week range and he will be back. Maybe for Bengals game. Need Ed to stay healthy period. Him, Bosa, Groot are our key cogs. Then Walker contiuned improvement anf AJ, Hoecht. Oji is a wildcard if he produces much, his tank was looking empty with Steelers LY. Our defense needs Ed, Bosa, Groot, Bernard and Benford to start performing to their potential.
  22. He’s acting as though he’s professionally involved in the investigation, or maybe he’s that little kid in the Grisham novels about the kid lawyer. Except that kid was really bright for his age. 🤣
  23. This this this!!! A perfect analogy. I was a big Bulls fan in the day as well. Another basketball example is the Warriors. Almost got there with Jackson as the coach, changed to Kerr and the rest is history.
  24. www.wral.com/news/local/cocaine-ketamine-seized-raleigh-restaurant-owner-home/ The 2015 NC Restauranteur of the year... Evidently a drug king pin with $283... ...oh...and... So, he has and does all of that while not being able to move...?
  25. and watch this instead be used as an excuse to give Adams another year… 😂😢🤦‍♂️
