Collective Failure in Houston-- Jim Kubiak BN

A sense of urgency is a must and has to begin at the start of game not after you fall behind. I cannot stand watching the passive & conservative play calling on both sides of the ball to begin games. -

you have to admit it's amusing. bman posts a story that nursesclothing thought was fantastic. 19 hours later, nursesclothing posts the exact same story. do you even read this stuff or are you just on automatic at this point? -
thanksgiving turkey is the business. i'm all into the deep fry method for the flavor. i don't typically like deli turkey though. something about it always being wet doesn't do it for me.

Tell me, which is the party of "the little guy", again?

America is a corporation - Truth. This seems to be the end result of capitalism. -
I would like to see them go on a run and win the SuperBowl but that really doesn’t seem possible with the team we have watched for 11 weeks now. The McBeanes now are signing ex players that are way past their prime thinking that will somehow stop the bleeding. How are Poyer, Shaq Lawson, Gabe Davis and Phillips going to help improve this team? The NFL thought so much of them none of them were on a roster. Now they signed Brandon Cooks to the team. Another player no one wants. With no cap space why are they signing washed up vets? They could easily poach young players with possible potential for cheap off 31 other teams practice squad. Or how about playing the young guys on your own team to give them some experience and see what they have? I think if the Bills lose to the Steelers that the wheels will fall off. If this resulted in McD and Beane being fired then good. Hire the rams or philadelphias assistant gm’s and start over. The McBeanes are never winning anything. They are destroying the Bills.

I guess that what I’m saying, is that with the exception of Verse, the Bills had an opportunity to anyone that the Rams took. The Rams and Eagles are so well run. They’ve just hit at a much higher percentage than most teams. They have high end players on rookie deals. That’s a necessity in today’s NFL.

You make a great point, Bill. Another early playoff (before the AFCCG) exit - to me - is still grounds for dismissal. If this pathetic roster gets to the AFCCG, then I would have no choice but to give McDermott some credit. To that point, I think Beane is an utter failure and if I was presented with a “one goes/one stays” option, I’d choose Beane to go without blinking an eye. Brandin f*cking Cooks? Are you f*cking kidding me? Beane sucks.

Looking ahead the potential 2026 Schedule
Kirby Jackson replied to Nitro's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is though. We can go back through the archives. That’s what everyone thought. When you look at “strength of schedule” it was among the easiest in the league even a year ago. It only got easier to @BADOLBILZ when they didn’t have to give up a game to go International. The NFC South is/was the worst division in football. The AFCE was next. New England improving is the only thing that may change it a little. Miami and the Jets are still bottom feeders. The AFCN is probably the next easiest AFC division behind the east. Cleveland stinks. Pittsburgh is just okay and the Bengals have been bad for a few years. Baltimore is good but you got them at home. The 3 “extra” games that you got as a division winner were Houston, Philly and KC. 2 of those were going to be at home and one on the road. If you asked 100% of people which 2 of those opponents are hardest that you wanted home, you’d have gotten Philly and KC. This schedule was literally close to the best possible scenario. I suppose you could trade out the AFCS for the AFCN. They AFCS though with the Colts, Jags and Texans looks better now than it did a year ago. If you go back through posts about this schedule from a year ago, it will be overwhelmingly optimistic. This was the year that we all said was cleared for the 1 seed. I mean, New England playing virtually the same schedule (except the 4th place version) is on track for the 1 seed. -
“The bills don’t have the guys on the outside that would allow you to open up the playbook” sounds like it’s absolving Brady’s playbook as being unable to be used because the talent level is so low currently
-
Some folks are ok with just being pretty good. They call those of us who are not satisfied "entitled". They are probably the same ones who drool over the afc championship trophies from the 90s. Then there are those of is who aren't content with being the Mike Tomlin steelers for the next 20 years, and are willing to risk changing things up.

We're Heading to Pittsburgh... The Stadium is Haunted
SirAndrew replied to ryguy101's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pittsburgh is a really nice city, but the metro area has always been strange to me. As great as the city is, the suburbs don’t seem like somewhere I’d want to live. There’s a lot of sprawl and some of the areas outside of the city are rough looking former industrial towns. I agree though, the city itself did a great building around its strengths. -
Actually this is a really good question imo. My answer however is not listed. I want the Bills to make the playoffs AND I want McDermott fired. If Beane has to go as well so be it. And I do get it....if they make the playuoffs and win the Super Bowl, why SHOULD they be fired? I am an Alabama Crimson Tide Fan. If they win on Saturday, they will be in the playoffs. Do I think that they are the best team in the NCAA? Not at all. Not this year. That said, they are good. Their defense is looking MUCH better than early in the season. If they get in the playoffs, things can happen on their team and their opponents teams to make winning at least a bit plausible. It's the same in some ways with the Bills. We have Josh Allen. He is great and can make things happen. If the OL plays up to their potential he will throw TD passes and Cook will also kick ass. If we get a few breaks, who knows? Coming into the season I thought that the Eagles and Lions were great. Now, they only look good. Things change. Anyway once again, good post. The above tedius post is jmo.

So the King was at the it's happening but it's rare stage here. I'm sure he's moved into its happening and it's good by now. In what friggin world does putting even a single twelve year old on a puberty blocker and then giving her a double mastectomy at thirteen comply with any medical guidelines other than Mengele's? Teef approved because it's rare.
