The chip in the ball that is used for tracking can't be used for spotting bc it is only accurate to 6 inches (and is in the middle of the ball), and there are other issues like being able to track the signal in a mass of bodies. The NFL needs to invest to advance the technology so it can be used for spotting sooner than later - it is such a huge opportunity for human error in 'a game of inches'

Doesn't surprise me. I think it was needed. That team was not playing tough. Too many mistakes. Lack of discipline. I was concerned when Pribula left for Missouri. He brought a physical element to the QB position, even in spot duty. Allar did not develop under Franklin and got worse. It's a shame that he's injured, but the team was going nowhere.

Our defense makes the worst QBs look great so it’s not that impressive. Popeye Vrabel isn’t an offensive guru but his defense is always a strength. Add their OC who has seen more opposing team practice tape than their own cameraman. They’re going to be a problem.
