Klint Kubiak is my new HC and I'm purging every bad contract or at least try to.
-
The heading pretty much says it all . I've heard talk that now that LSU has fired their HC that they have been considering Brady as a candidate for the position . If either McD & Beane fire Brady or if he quits and does take the offer if it's still on the table what would be your thoughts of possibly bringing Dabol back was OC ???
-
I don't think Epenesa is overpaid. But I agree with the rest, especially the idea that he signs C players to B contracts. That is very true. Even just giving out way too many B contracts even if they are B players, because there is no more room for A contracts on the team.

We unquestionably have an injury problem, and the defensive players need to talk to the O-line players to find out what they are doing to stay healthy. Injuries are not the head coaches or GM's fault. Injuries are part of the game, while some teams accrue more than others for some reason. As bad as the Buffalo defense was in the first half, it was all on Buffalo OC Joe Brady to set up a scheme that didn't involve getting his QB killed. Other teams face a ton of blitzing and pass rush pressure, and they don't fold like lawn chairs. They can beat a blitz by using quick passes, changing the play at the line of scrimmage, or employing effective blocking schemes to protect the quarterback. Quarterbacks with good decision-making skills can also exploit the defense's weaknesses by recognizing the blitz and adjusting their plays accordingly. Instead of quick outs or max protection, this OC kept calling for deep drop-back passes of 5-7 step drops to hit a big play. If I ever see a WR screen to Shakir, I'll want to strangle someone. Just keep handing off on first down over and over.

I'm going no. The next 5 games are all ones that will be tough to win. Then behind us, you have the Texans who now own the head to head tie breaker, a surging Baltimore team and a Chief team that can hit a hot streak anytime. I think when the music stops, there's a shot we could be left without a chair.

I would probably pick a new HC first. I don’t think McD is bad but that his approach is stale now. I’d look at a coach with an offensive background, preferably with a solid history. Maybe a guy like Gruden. I’d want an OC like Cleveland’s current HC, and I’d make every effort to get Swartz as DC. My first meeting would be with Josh, and I’d promise my main focus would be to upgrade the offense to give him weapons. I’d clear out all the deadwood of older guys and contracts, like Milano and Taron. And I’d be aggressive in the FA market and draft to add talent to the offense.

11/20/2025 Bills @ Texans post game thread

With thousands of Bills fans at each venue. I think that used to mean something to the players. -
I don’t know how the tiebreakers will work, but 4-5 teams could be 10-7. If we lose at Pittsburgh season is over. We won’t get in unless we win out which we aren’t good enough to do. I’m not sure where 3 wins will come from. Cleveland, Bengals, Jets.

Why, so we can play Jacksonville, KC, and Baltimore like we always do? Lol. I know we play the AFCW next year so the KC thing doesn't matter. But so far all the second place teams are all teams that have been first the last few years.

Outside of Allen, there would be no sacred cows. I'd what the Broncos did, just admit your mistakes and take your dead cap and bad contract pain immediately. Hire a offensive minded HC that brings in two things- the ability to leverage a prime HOF Josh Allen, and take the culture in a new direction. Hire the best DC you can buy, and set him loose to build his scheme with his guys. I'd also focus on always having an Elite #1 Receiver, Elite RB and Elite LT, either Elite DT or Edge Rusher. We need game changers. You already have Elite QB, this shouldn't be rocket science. I'd draft BPA, stock up on the best talent possible. I just want "trust the process" gone, no ill will, but its getting old an delivering the same or worse results. -
Allen missed a wide open Knox on the final play

This topic should have been closed right after it was started. There was OPI on the play, doesn’t matter how wide open Know was. @Simon lock it up…please. -
Time to Rebuild? Too Many Beane Holes.

The Bills have been in a rebuilding process IMO. -

Terrible cap management-trying to keep the band together... Only led to a soft, complacent team -
Bad contracts. Signing C players to B contracts and B players to A contracts. Bernard, Benford, Oliver, Knox, Samuel, Shakir, Rousseau, Milano and Epenesa are all overpaid for their production or lack there of.

Remaining schedule is not exactly easy. I only see one sure win (Jets) the others are all very losable, especially if Rodgers and Burrow are playing At Pitt (50%) Bengals (75%, 50 if Burrow plays) At NE (40%) at Cle (75%) Philly (40%) Jets (99%)

On the one INT that Josh threw Cook was WIDE OPEN in the flat to his right and Josh decided to try and get more and threw into a 3 man coverage which got him the INT . I think Josh is trying to get to much instead of taking what they are giving him or he just isn't seeing the entire field as he should . That and couple it with Brady not using the weapons he has available like Ty , Davis, Knox, and others he's got plenty of fire power to turn to he just doesn't call their number when needed & since they got Kincaid Knox has become for the most part a forgotten piece of the puzzle . I'd like to see what Dabol could do with this offense now that he is with out a job even though Brady has had some decent success I think Dabol might be able to open it up a bit more like he did when he was first here . I hope if they make a change at OC they consider bringing Dabol back .

They have an easy out after 2027 too. I just don’t see a lot of value in $20M+ 8 sack guys. I’d rather have a $5M 6 sack guy. -
It all falls on Beane. It's his mess.

McDermott is a good coach, but he'd be out. Trade for AJ Brown. No more tweener, jack of all trade - master of none defensive draft picks. This is an outdoor, cold weather team. The defense should reflect that. -
This was Beanes main job in Carolina, so I'm sure he's pretty close to it

Everything has an expiration date and the current O-Line has been together for 3 years. In NFL, that's like a decade. Dallas a few years ago with Ezekiel Elliott had an O-Line probably better than the Bills (where McGovern was a backup). about 3 years in, it's over. I feel the Bills' O-line is at that stage and we are likely see changes this off-season. It is hard to win it all in NFL. Everything has to lineup. The Bills have a Allen and Cook in their prime but no complements from the defense. Looks like they are investing heavy into defense now and likely next year as well but looks like the O-line will change so we don't know what it is like for them next year and Cook is going to be 27 next year, probably 2 more prime years. -
It without a doubt sounds to me like he's blowing off the poor job he and his linemates did. Never owns up to it. Doesn't own up to the big false start that turned a 4th and 1 to a 4th and 6 on the last play. His immaturity and lack of self awareness have been why he has been my second least favorite Bill of this era.

Who do you most blame for the current state of the Bills?

I blame the rebuilding process. -

Well the world may not end, but this era Bills have never won a road playoff game. (If I'm not mistaken)
