Time to discuss Reid Ferguson...
TBBills Fan replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sounds like Joe Ferguson -
He spent the weekend with his brother Michael

And if he was pulled, he hardly protested. I'm dating myself here, but I remember in 1990 when the Bills were getting clocked in Miami and Marv ordered his starters out of the game. They argued with him on the sidelines. They didn't want to come out of a rivalry game. Bruce in particular was pretty animated. Lamar just went straight to the bench.

No $*****. That’s why I said they aren’t pop enough to be considered.

go easy on the bro he started playing during the Bush administration. the dad, not the son -
Allen is 2nd in QBR 4th in passer rating 6th in passing yards per game 4th in total yards per game by a QB 2nd in Total TD’s 6th completion percentage 5th net passing yards per play Buffalo 2nd in ppg offense Buffalo 2nd yards per game Buffalo 1st in rushing yards per game All of that along with Buffalo being 4-0 is why Allen is leading. None of the other QB’s are even close to the top 5 or top 10 in this many categories, other than Lamar, but since Baltimore is 1-3 and he looked bad yesterday he has dropped down.

Especially if you are a Bills DB lol -
This is the level of stupidity that is coming from our message board. On a relative basis, it literally does not get any better than this

I still have some faith in Rousseau (though it's starting to wane a bit) - but it's hard to look back on that draft and not conclude we should have taken Barmore. That's exactly the kind of player our line needs.

It's almost as if the party in power doesn't like shutdowns. Imagine that.

Yes all is fine with the team. Even McDermott woudl preach continuous improvement. But let's wait for a blocked punt to address it... Well what are we on, the 4th special teams coach in 8 years. So maybe he is or has gotten poor coaching on technique to help with the gaps. And maybe his snapping has become less accurate. Of all the resources spent on special teams LS is more important and certainly more specialized than a gunner. -
Then he needs to earn his jersey. Simple as that. Unless you want them to be a joke team that hands players jobs they don't deserve like many other teams do (who usually are bottom feeders).
-
Not in October. It's still only the beginning of the season. The 4Q statement game you speak of should happen in the first round of the playoffs. That's where you send a signal to the other teams in the playoffs that there's a monster in Western New York waiting for them.

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW – At the One-Quarter Mark
Walking Tall replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just don’t agree with the whole month of September and some of October are “pre-season games”. If they do away with the pre-season games and scrimmages during the month of August, will it then become September through November are pre-season games? These teams have multiple mini-camps during the off-season that lead up to the official training camp. They didn’t do that in grandpa’s NFL. They also didn’t receive millions of dollars or were expected to know their playbooks inside and out like they are today when training camp arrives. Much less be in tip-top physical shape. The teams with the best talent, coaching, and have less injuries and suspensions will always stand above the rest. Whether it be the first week in September or the last in December. -
Where is Landon Jackson ???
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall
Surely you know there's is a massive difference between superstar and not dressing for games. Regardless of whether it is too early to call him a Beane bust, it is a significant disappointment that a 3rd round pick cant dress for game day. -

My take is a bit different. Ty & Ray got so few carries because when they are in there, they were NOT effective, which forces Brady to give Cook more carries, kind of similar to Joey Bosa had to be out there taking so many snaps because no one else can get close to the QB. Pre-season game time to find out is over. If this continues post the bye, I'm willing to give Gore Jr. some try as a PS call up.

Evaulation (of this team) after a quarter of season gone
SectionC3 replied to ganesh's topic in The Stadium Wall
Did the TV broadcast indicate whether McD handled playcalling in the second half today? I sit on the opposite side of the stadium, and I don’t take binoculars in. BUT, from my distant perch, I saw him routinely stationed about 20 yards on the defensive side of the LOS with what appeared to be a play sheet when NO had the ball. My impression was that he was running the D. See above. -
The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
Success replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
This whole discussion is an excellent microcosm of what the sports commentary world has become. We almost need a better term than "hot take" - saying a take is hot still implies that there is any thought involved. I don't think this thread will ever go away. It will get bumped according to what you wrote above - from people on both sides of the question, depending on how Sunday went for both players.
