I agree. The Bears game tainted these guys. Our starters have had bad games from the Kelly era to Josh’s era. Never have I seen such backlash from the fans. Andreessen will have a good career. Great? I don’t know. But good.

Yes 100%. Under the old rules the Bills would have played yesterday with a roster of 65... needlessly exposing important players to injury in a virtually meaningless game. Another benefit is that they now have a much larger body of work with which to judge the players vying for the last few spots.

He was available a week into camp. He’s made some nice plays but he’s isn’t a priority claim for any team. PS for sure

I couldn't agree more. I think it has to do with the stain left by the Bears game... a stain on the entire roster from top to bottom... not just Buffalo Joe. I have a feeling he's gonna be a good pro linebacker.

Joe Marino had Lundt on the outside looking in as well, which surprised me because he previously said he thought Lundt put enough out on tape that he’d get snatched up. He’s probably hurt by Grable being out which makes RVD more attractive as an experienced backup, and you need Green or Feeney as interior depth (unless you could get one of those guys on the PS and elevate them in case of injury?). It might come down to needing to pick 3 out of these 4: Shavers, Ciarlo, Strong, Lundt, and Ciarlo has a lot of momentum. But I agree I’d try and keep Lundt somewhere on the 53

Walker seems fun, but I’ll wait on any judgement. Im not convinced on anyone, nor is it wise to do so. Let it play out. He shows maybe opportunity. It would be great, but it’s preseason. That means almost nothing.

Ciarlo looks like he can be a very good player. Would like to somehow keep this kid. Give him time to get better on the PS. Kid looks a bit raw still, but looks to have what it takes to play in this league. I don’t get the hate for Andreessen though. Dude has instinct, good tackler. Thought last night he looked very good. Feel he can play well within this system when there are actual game plans.

Never said it was insignificant. Even said it would be a setback in the race for home field. Of course we don't want to lose it, but if there is any positive to take out of a loss is that it is just Week 1 and there is the entire rest of the season to try and get that win back. Of course it isn't insignificant.
