Agree that it’s more about eyes on TVs than eyes on the field. The league was created for TV, not for attending fans. Loss of viewers and loss of TV revenue is what will end the league. As for the NFL using it as a farm league, they already have the NCAA for that. And it’s a highly developed farm league that serves the NFL extremely cheaply and well. If the NFL thought there was money in a spring pro league, they would have made it happen a long time ago.

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

These leftist shills continue to be in the 20% of the 80/20 issues in this country, which will continue to GUARANTEE a Republican president for the foreseeable future. All Dems have to do is move the needle somewhere close to the middle to win in 2028, but they are run by radicals, so forget that. As one poster pointed, this will not end well for Demonrats. -
Goes both ways?! Offense and defence?! 🤔

They've been ideologically subverted. Fully demoralized. They're gone. It's irreversible. Once you understand the concept of ideological subversion and the steps of the process, then you can't unsee it in everything coming from the left. They are quite literally incapable of observing the real world that surrounds them in any fashion that even remotely resembles reality. “As I mentioned before, exposure to true information does not matter anymore,” said Bezmenov. “A person who was demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him. Even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents, with pictures; even if I take him by force to the Soviet Union and show him [a] concentration camp, he will refuse to believe it, until he [receives] a kick in his fan-bottom. When a military boot crashes his balls then he will understand. But not before that. That’s the [tragedy] of the situation of demoralization.” -
I didn't say there were "good games", I said there were close games. That's different. The quality of the football isn't great and part of what makes some of the games close is the ridiculous mistakes the teams make. I won't say that I sit here and intently watch, but it's something to passively have on while I'm doing other things. Ratings have been down which is a bigger problem than a lack of in-person attendance. The league's biggest problem IMO is two-fold and they touch on each other. One, the NFL isn't involved and doesn't treat this like a farm system which is what it really is. Thus they don't promote it at all which would help them a lot. Two, the QBs play is bad and all the decent or even generally promising QBs are on NFL contracts. If the NFL were to embrace this more as a developmental league, like the Euro league used to be, and even send their #3 QBs it would improve the product quite a bit. As it is, there just aren't any actual QB talents out there to be had and it shows.

Continuing with how IV, Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti came about and went down and life during that epochal era would, I think, have a somewhat broader appeal as this is the era I think most fans discovered Zeppelin in real time. I was about 14 when Zep IV was released. Something I didn’t realize and learned from ‘Being Zep’ was how accomplished and coveted Page and Jones were as studio musicians for such a wide variety of music and being so young at the time. Jones being an arranger of mega hits was truly impressive. ‘Goldfinger’ and ‘To Sir With Love’? I mean c’mon….🤯

Is that correct about vesting? I seem to remember another player (not Bills) holding out until game 8 or so, because that was the latest he could wait and still get pension credit.

ICE is arresting people trying to come here legally. They’re literally camping outside immigration offices. Yeah, they sent them to a place with no infrastructure to actually support them as part of a political stunt. it was a great example of MAGAs using the poor as political pawns. -

I seem to remember Shakin Smith and his blues band at the Bona Vista on Hertel, late 70s. And probably every other bar on Hertel or Elmwood that had live blues. 😁 -
First off......we need to stop looking at him as some modest second round pick. In making the trade-backs the Bills were saying that they would have been fine picking him at 28. And the lower the bulk numbers are then how he gets those numbers will be more important. If Coleman has a Gabe-like one-off 200+ yard game against the Saints.........but otherwise averages a paltry 37 yards per game the rest of the season..........then 800 yards is likely going to be seen as a failure. They need him to be consistent and come up big against the likes of Baltimore, KC, Philly etc.. I like Coleman's ceiling more than some but at some point either in 2025 or 2026 they need him to be producing at least at WR1 level to make the pick a real success story. That said, about half of first round picks fail to be seen as worthy of a 5th year extension so the potential for failure late in round 1 or early round 2 is inherently pretty high. That doesn't really alter fan or organizational expectations much though. You are never going to presume that a near 50% hit/miss rate applies to you.

Wrong...they were cultural in blo. The world poor can come...but legally, like Ellis Island not New Mexico dessert. Quality people, all in the 50s, 60s etc, not just a percentage. Batting 400 on immigration is not acceptable. You need to bat 950. When you dont your institution costs like policing, welfare, education, courts, city admin, fire dept, city services, border costs, FBI costs all escalate. -

In fairness (really to my friends on the other side of the aisle) I haven’t always taken the high road, clearly. But, I’ve have the ability to read through much of the fray and theatrics here, and in doing so have actually learned a thing or two that doesn’t follow the “red is bad, blue is right/righteous.” I still very much believe - as part of my ethics , personality, upbringing, and sensibilities - in the liberal ideals. Call it a bleeding heart, but I do feel as a whole, the democratic party has historically shown more empathy and continues to today. But as with most things, the squeaky wheels get the oil. And the squeaky wheels on the left are so god damned squeaky and emotional that they can’t see the stupidity for the trees. This case in particular is a horribly excellent example of blindly following party lines and a use case to call the right evil for deporting a “poor hardworking man” and then not being able to say “well, crap, we were wrong. This man is human garbage. Good riddance” and then back peddling to say “it’s not this one man; it’s the principle!!” But I will say I do appreciate you and others starting to hold true political discussions and not cherry picking the nutsos on the left from Twitter (of course some the rights squeakiest of course solely rely on the purple haired weirdos to “prove” a point, but I digress). As you all know we can find the example of the maga extremists making your party look equally unhinged. The truth - as always - lies much more in the fact that if we had a beer summit, we’d all agree on much more than we seemingly vehemently disagree with through the anonymity of a keyboard. Not sure if this makes sense. It’s early here, I got up at 4:30a with a toddler going through a sleep regression, and I’m in CA, so I’m sure I have a granola protest to go to later this afternoon.
