MLB 2025 Except the Yankee's

O's get no hit for 8.2 innings then get 6 guys in a row on base and come back from 3-0 down to a 4-3 win against the Dodgers -

Not sure if you saw it but there was a spitting penalty near the end that gave the Bulls the boost they needed. If they can knock of Miami next week it will be like some bizarre axis tilted somewhere.

Figster and the West Valley Railroad Portal: Live Story

https://www.countyoffice.org/property-record-5360-williams-ave-west-valley-ny-14171-530/ The encounter occurred at the end of Williams Ave near the tracks the same side as the last house marked on the map. The house marked belonged to another NFS engineer, Hadley Shafner back in the 1960's. Our old house was across the street 3rd house up counting from the Left. Fergs down there somewhere... ...poor Bastard... https://www.google.com/maps/place/5360+Williams+Ave,+West+Valley,+NY+14171/@42.416337,-78.60958,238m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m6!3m5!1s0x89d259ab13db9663:0xc5932cb4e305bbd3!8m2!3d42.4159618!4d-78.6096323!16s%2Fg%2F11gmft_nrb?hl=en-US&entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDkwMy4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D -
Tyler Dunne's piece on Caleb Williams is DAMNING
Mikie2times replied to estro613's topic in The Stadium Wall
How many unnecessarily glowing pieces have been written about Caleb Williams? The same for McD or anybody else in his cross hairs. The balance is the complete saturation of positive news angles for most of the people he is writing about. Not that Caleb hasn't had some critical pieces, especially of late, as has McD. But take his "hit piece" on McD. People actually DO feel that way about him. That is the case. Other people don't feel that way about him. We read those articles all the time. The actual truth is probably somewhere between these stories. I don't believe the truth is just the the droves of news that is all but Buffalo Bill sponsored content. Somebody SHOULD be writing about the other side because it gets as closer to what is real. I can't believe either the exceptionally glowing or the exceptionally negative. Nothing is ever so black and white and the reader should understand as much. So I don't mind his content. It actually gives balance in my opinion. -

My favorite part about this loss is two of their next three are against Eagles and Ravens -
There have been a lot of games that people anticipate high scoring shootouts over the last few years that ended up being a big defensive game.

9/7/25 GAMEDAY 9/7/25 Home Opener Bills vs Ravens SNF
Chandler#81 posted a topic in The Stadium Wall
Fasten your seatbelts! It’s ON! The Bills 2025 season kicks off tonight at the Rich/Ralph/Highmark stadium Swan Songs’ 53rd and final season. It’s everyone’s intention to open next season in the New Highmark palace across the street with a Super Bowl Championship Banner to hang from the semi-rafters and it starts tonight in a nationally televised SNF tilt vs the Baltimore Ravens To achieve that lofty level, questions we all have will need to be addressed quickly. Is our Secondary ANY good? Will Milano, Bishop & Rapp stay healthy? The current Practice Squad (changing every day) is -to put mildly, trash with a collection of Has beens, cast offs & jags while already dealing with concerning injuries throughout the roster. PK, P & KR are very suspect (I don’t even know their names!) in a season with more new ST rules to contend with. This WILL impact games -perhaps more than ever! 2 expensive FA Defensive studs have been kicked out of the locker room for the 1st third of the season while rookies will see significant playing time. Coming off a season where we were the Leagues’ worst 3rd Down Defense, it took a staggeringly high TO ratio to reach the Conference title game! The jury is out on supposedly Defensive guru Ryan Nielsen coming from a hapless Jacksonville squad. We didn’t have an easier game last year than slapping them around ‘the Ralph’. So where do our hopes lie, our dreams reside? Joe Brady’s gang. Our OL may well be the best in the bidniz with guru coach Aaron Kromer returning for his 4th season. We have true studs across the line, play with 6 OL more than any other team and WR’s who love to block! Say what you will about Saquan, Henry & others, our RBs are a perfect complement of grit, flash & speed! I’ll miss Mack Hollis’ contributions but last season was clearly his best year and NE* had cash to burn come FA. For our part, Josh Palmer has been an excellent if overlooked WR with feet as clever as Stefon Diggs and has no quit in him. I expect he’ll be a great part of our Offense. Shakir’s high ankle sprain certainly gives pause as he’s our most polished and effective Receiver, but he’s battled this before and gutted it out very well before finally recovering. Knox is a solid, dependable TE who blocks well, though we’ve added a supremely effective blocking TE in the Draft with Jackson Hawes! Much improvement is expected from 3rd year TE Dalton Kincaid and 2nd year Wideout Keon Coleman and both showed this in limited preseason action and training camp. I love that Shavers made the 53! He could be a real Sleeper! Should these expectations materialize, we’ll remain a dominant and feared Offense. Why? 3 letters. M V P! 29 year old, married Josh Allen IS the Face of the NFL. He’s already become the greatest Buffalo Bill and all but locked up 1st Ballot HOF induction. Fun fact: Josh has completed 6 of 15 passes thrown within a yard of the sideline for 118 yards and 3 touchdowns. The rest of the NFL QBs are a combined 3 for 61. If we can engineer a Super Bowl win with him, well, he’ll never buy a drink in this neighborhood the rest of his life. So otherworldly is this gentleman that NOT to win a Super Bowl with Buffalo cements the ever-growing fear that we are definitely an unworthy and cursed franchise. I’ll reach my 8th decade in a month and my Dad is well into his 10th. While we’ve never missed a game, my memories didn’t really begin until the silver helmet was replaced by the white one with the standing red Buffalo. Dad, on the other hand, will bore you to tears talking about Buster Ramsey, Ritchie Lucas and Warren Rabb while still lamenting we couldn’t sign our 1st Round pick Carl Eller in ‘64.. I digress. Bring on the 2025 Buffalo Bills! We Got this! GO BILLS! -

FireChans replied to estro613's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t know why you’d think he’d be done. He is in a no-lose scenario. He gets to write a nice editorial narrative sandwiched in between probably true quotes, and if he’s “wrong,” he can fall back on “just reporting what my sources told me.” he gets to live in an island where he can pretend to be just following journalistic standards if he’s wrong, and look very smart if he’s right and rinse and repeat. What are the odds the next long form piece Ty Dunne article is inside the Cleveland Browns dysfunction and the Shedeur Sanders drama, with a bunch of quotes from an anonymous Stefanski or whoever gets fired from that hellhole next year? Even money I think. -

He hates the medical establishment. It's not uncommon in corporate types. He hates the establishment in general.. Which is strange given his family is ultra establishment excepting his grandfather who was a bit sketchy. This anti establishment trope is a pillar of MAGA...even if they suffer from it. No idea what they expect to happen to make their loves better but it isn't rfk jr.
