  3. Better receivers and pass rushers. its also hilarious how bad Frazier got scapegoated with multiple top 3 defenses.
  4. Best way to describe him - solid. He is not a game changing pass rusher (dare I call him high motor). He would be much better if they had a legit pass rushing threat across from him (Bosa has been solid but he’s not one of those special guys). next to receiver, Beane sucks the most at scouting pass rushing. Groot is far from a bust but he’s will never be a guy teams need to really game plan for and we badly need one of those guys.
  5. Just fantasy football/gambling mentality imo Pretty much every time I say Groot is good and worth his contract here and on other boards I get a nice wave of negative reactions from all of the very smart and stable football geniuses that are "fans" of this team If there isn't a big box score the player must be terrible
  6. I was saying the exact same thing to my TV, why not kick a field goal there. The defense was actually holding up at this point and there was plenty of time. The play call was atrocious, you could see Cook was gassed that's why i thought it was Josh Allen all the way.
  7. Do you guys just sit in the corner chair and watch each other like a couple cuks? I mean it's one thing for the idiot left trolls to just be flat out idiots. Those are indistinguishable from common idiots but you and the few who relentlessly troll from the right are the same. You're probably too stupid to go join the better political board new site, but then stupid enough to hang around here and continue to the discourse of this disgusting place. It's sad when there used to be such a good conversation on this site continued to be ruined by the likes of trolls.
  8. Beane and Mcd should be on the hot seat but most of us know that seat is not even warm yet according to Pegs.
  9. KC isn't going to make it. Same with the Lions. How crazy is that? The math just aint mathin. Lions have a better chance than KC but they need to beat GB this week. If they don't they could be done. It's a product of a few divisions being crazily stacked, so that the wild cards are going to go to 11 and 12 win teams. Since all 4 division winners get in there's a crunch for the 3 wild cards, and a couple of divisions could send 2 wild cards each in a normal year but there isn't room. All the Chargers need to do is win a couple of games and they'll clear the Chiefs. I could see the Jaguars and Colts splitting games, muddling that picture a bit. Colts could very easily fall all the way out.
  10. I don’t see any way that Hegseth is allowed to walk free once Dems take power. A truly evil, evil man destined for a lonely grave in a forgotten cemetery and, God willing, eternal torment in Hell.
  11. Cowboys could really do everyone a solid on Thanksgiving. They are probably the least trustworthy team ever though. Chiefs still play Texans and Chargers, so someone is losing those games. Chargers finish with Eagles, Chiefs, Cowboys, Texans, Broncos. I could easily see the Colts fighting for a WC with their schedule. AFC South is going to beat each other up down the stretch. If the Texans beat the Colts this weekend, they have the Chiefs the following weekend… might be time to start rooting for Houston.
  12. Senator Kelly responds to the latest by posting a tweet that details his military service (which is exemplary) It was of course reposted in the ***** Hegseth thread by eager sycophant Billstime. Of course there is a flaw in this . No one's calling out his record, just his recent judgment, which seems to be tainted by a case of TDS.
  13. I don’t think Groot was ever expected to be a dominant edge rusher coming from LDE. That would be great, but that was never the expectation. He’s not a Dwight Freeney or Von Miller kind of player, he has a different skill set.
  14. Week in and week out I keep hearing about how they just missed winning and how things aren’t really that bad. My TV must not be set to its optimal picture settings for these games because from what I see, it looks bad. Really, really bad
  15. Spencer Brown begins to cost serious money starting in 2026. He has only made it through the full 17 games once in his 5 years in the league. Are there real durability concerns here? He's a tough nasty mauler, but I do worry that we lose him at key spots in the schedule.
  16. On the flip side, the Steelers have a chance to push themselves into the 7 seed and send us to the "in the hunt" group with a win this week. We lose this weekend, and the Steelers leapfrog us and the Texans could as well with a win. This week really is a make or break week. I feel like the loser of this one misses the playoffs entirely.
  17. Proof positive that the OP in this thread is one of the worst takes in some time on this board.
  18. I think they do. They all think that the good things are all Josh and the bad ones all McDermott. That's an exaggeration, but not a vast one.
  19. Honestly, they may be worse At least the Bills managed to get a 1st round pick for Peters. The Raiders for years have had the opportunity to get a kinda ransom for Maxx Crosby and absolutely refuse to trade him. He reportedly wants to stay there...but business is business. After seeing what the Cowboys got for Parsons and even the Jets got for Q Williams, it's ridiculous that they keep him there.
  20. The anticipation to find out when KC will send us home this year is really building
  21. Sucks. Oliver is a damn good player but he can never stay healthy. We invest all this money into the defensive line and the injury bug kills us every time. (Miller, Oliver, Hoechet, DeWayne Carter, Bosa, Landon Jackson.) and it doesn’t help that guys like Groot has never developed into that dominant edge rusher we needed him to be.
  22. The turnovers, sacks, & penalties were all destined to balance out after last year which meant you needed either to A. improve the talent at WR either through growth/talent acquisition and/or B. Scheme evolves. Neither of those happens, regression to the mean has come so if the gameplan is sour the talent isn't there to overcome mistakes/injuries. In 3 of the 4 losses (ATL/MIA/HOU) the Bills offensive line got blown to bits with Josh running for his life and making poor choices himself. Brady has taken far too longer to adjust his play calls in those games if at all and it is noticeable with Josh's frustration. In general the offense many times has felt like they expect to be good or it will just happen vs. actually working and making it happen. The fact in the 3rd quarter they didn't switch to a no huddle approach with quick slants or fast plays to negate what HOU was doing was mind blowing to me and a true critique of Brady who this year has failed to regularly to stay up with what the defense is doing if his gameplan is failing. Brady his first year and half as OC had it going with a dominant run game and pass game that complemented what he put out running the ball. Defenses have caught up and at no point has any real change or evolution come. The irony is of course the Bills in 12/13 personnel are quite good yet we have stopped running that regularly. The critique on the Bills not pulling out close games comes with regression itself after going 5-2 in one score games last year they are 1-2 this year. Again the numbers never lose it always balances out and the Bills approach was "well for us it will be different this year" rather then make meaningful change scheme and talent wise.
  23. Rosseau is solid and he does a lot of the dirty work. He's not getting sacks or making some of the splash plays he did the last few years, which is too bad, but I think as much a product of the DT play and what he's asked to do. Of the newly extended guys, Benford and Bernard are bigger concerns.
  24. Since we've exhausted Beane-drafted and signed players, we're now signing players Rex drafted because they went to Clemson. I’ve enjoyed the McDermott journey, but if Rexy had Josh instead of Tyrod, he would have achieved the same success as Sean.
  25. Wasn’t the idea that extending him resulted in a fair contract based on the market? I think we got a good deal.
