  1. Past hour
  2. I’ve read very few, if any, fire anybody over these preseason games. I have read player xyz sucks. To me that is fair. Winning and losing gets a pass in preseason. But a fringe player not doing well carries a lot of weight. And for what it is worth when McD was like 10-1 in preseason the word was always about the culture and preperation…,
  3. Aaaaand everything attempted by said players was a train wreck. They made the Bears depth look like they should be starters. It was like watching Yale play Penn St. It was a complete dumpster fire of a performance.
  4. Just a heads up if you want to check out a few current and former Bills on shows and podcasts this week. Both Maxwell Hairston and Deone Walker are featured on episode 7 of the Netflix show SEC Football Any Given Saturday. For the bros among us Gabriel Davis is on Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast this week. A little bit of Bills talk included. Gabe mentions he has workouts in the northeast this week. Looks like that is going to be the Steelers. Anyways just a few Bills related things to view/listen to prior to Hard Knocks this week.
  5. Daryl Johnston. Lewiston Porter, Syracuse and the Dallas Cowboys. Grew up in Buffalo / WNY during the 1970s as a Dolphins fan. Turd.
  6. I’m in the same age bracket as you and remember that well. Lots of kids in 9ers and dolphins starter jackets… everyone at that time was also randomly Charlotte Hornets fans too. Don’t have kids so can’t comment on what they’re doing today.
  7. we all remember that kid from the 90s, typically a Dolphins fan, just trying to be the contrarian! i will say that on a recent vacation, we bumped into another die hard Bills’ fan family. Every person in that family (grandparents, parents, kids, etc.) was decked out in Bills gear…. and the 8-year old son was wearing Ravens gear. So the anti-Bills kid still does exist!
  8. I grew up in New England (I know!) and during the SB years, most of my classmates hated the Bills (some said they were sick of them always going to the SB), and some others were Dallas fans (I'm assuming because they were dominant at that time and being in New England, the Patriots in the early 90s were garbage). As far as I know, I was the only kid in my school who was a Bills fan (or at least I'm the only one that ever wore anything Bills-related).
  9. I grew up in the 70s. Our Bills fandom wasn't as extreme as it is nowadays. At least, not in my neighborhood. Everyone was a Bills fan to some extent, but we all followed other teams, too. None of the kids in my neighborhood were monogamous or fanatical.
  10. My best friend was like that growing up. He was a Miami fan and yet never even went there once. He would go out of his way to bash the Bills to try to be different and cool. They definitely still exist, but not nearly as many since the Bills are the “cool” team to root for.
  11. Glad I could help!
  12. You dont cut a guy who has 27 starts for your defense when the guy in front of him hasnt proven he can start in the league. Damar is poor in coverage, but he can play the run. Unless there is somebody better in free agency you dont cut him until you are sure someone better is getting cut from another roster. The Raiders have a few players to watch. Thomas Harper and Terrell Edmunds are both decent depth players who may be cut. Thats kind of where we are at if you cut Damar.
  13. Well spent about 40 minutes chatting with Abby who I fantasize was this cute 20 something little Asian girl. After all the back and forth I got $30 off of ST with Redzone and $42 off my YTTV bill for the next three months. The first offer was access to all these great offers Google has for me to spend more money on, then gave me the $30 off ST. I then asked for $10 off my YTTV bill for a year which she said no too, but after another 10 minutes instead offered me the $42 off for 3 months so took that. I felt like I was dealing with DTV again except there, could call them on the phone. I suppose in a way chatting was better as did allow me to fantasize and didn't even charge me for that.
  14. Whatever dim hopes he may have had would have died with an injury. Sad.
  15. Can’t tackle yet had the 3rd most tackles last year. Are you familiar at all with what kind of defense McDermott employs? It’s a bend don’t break that usually gives up massive yards and then stiffens up in the red zone. It also makes teams work for their yards with longer drives while banking on them making a mistake. Not my favorite philosophy, but it’s the one we run and Hamlin is a good fit as a BACKUP.
  16. He should be. He's gotten everything he's wanted and more regarding the defensive line, and he and Beane continue to unearth one undersized stiff after another. He's gotten everything he's wanted regarding the secondary, and it's filled with mediocre and below-average vets and young guys who are always hurt. If the defensive s**ts the bed again this year after they refused to allocate any resources to help Allen, it will be all on him, and he knows it.
  17. That’s because he sits back there in his lawn chair and allows anybody to catch anything thrown in front of him. And then he proceeds to get burned further because he can’t make a tackle after he allows the catch. He’s a matador…. but ‘he never gets burned over the top’ lol.
  18. I’ll be humorous in answering this… I’d choose Patrick Mahomes as a backup. It’ll never happen but at least we wouldn’t have to play against him.
  19. I think at the old Seneca Mall location. I could be wrong
  20. Overreacting to preseason games is the ultimate rookie move and proves to me they know nothing about football. But it doesn’t stop people from doing it EVERY… SINGLE… YEAR… No. The Bills are trash. Let’s drink
  21. I will say the Caleb Williams can rip the f*ck outta that football. Hell of an arm
