Another one - Trey Hendrickson asks for a trade from Cincy
dave mcbride replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
If this was true, then top teams would be trading for players like Hendrickson all the time. But it virtually never happens. If you look at the teams who have been identified as potential landing spots, its Indy, Carolina, and Cleveland. I used to think like you that the cap doesn't matter, but the trades and signings that DON'T happen among top teams with expensive rosters put the lie to that. Also, the Eagles are currently $30 million under the cap. -
https://www.clevelandbrowns.com/news/joe-flacco-named-starting-quarterback Browns gonna Browns They sign Bond, now name Flacco the starter to throw to him. LOL. The Buffalo Sabres of the NFL.

For Starters only one S back.. with that many WR's and how tight the CB's are playing is god awful crud position to put Cole in. 5 seconds in 1.5 notice everything is headed 5+ yards. 2.5 seconds in. 3 players are headed towards Cole. What player do you choose? Wait.. they still all overed.. 3 seconds in. everyone covered. 3.5 seconds in.. Cole has a player that lost the defender right Infront of him and the wr made a great jump to avoid him. 3 things are at fault this play. #1.. we RARELY would be just 1 back with so many WR on the field. #2. WTH is that defender doing on the 20? #3. Cole needed to make a decision a second quicker.. BUT.. 1 second quicker everyone was covered.

Ridgelines are unibody I believe... No frame. Even be careful with F150 Sport. We got one at work and you can't plow with it. How stupid. Dumped it back to GSA, now have a SuperDuty... The thing is a monster. Full CrewCab... Even I and you would too need a lift up into it. LoL... As long as you can plow snow with it... Why even make say an F150 that can't take any kinda of plow... Even the smallest.

I think that’s kind of the point. It rarely ever comes back to bite teams because 2 Super Bowl contenders within the same conference rarely trade impact players to one another. -
Does there need to be a rethinking of the basic D?

Really? What stats? 27th in sacks(8) last year. 25 total in 4 years. Ok I should have said struggles to be a consistent average starter. He flashes at times and then disappears for large portions of the season. Doesn't mean he can't get better. Having a better DE on the other side will help. I 100% agreed with picking up his option and the contract extension he got was fair for both sides. All love man! -
I am not sure how any conclusions can be drawn this time of the year, good or bad. Preseason games should be banned from TV and the score TOP SECRET.

If you dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball

One of the key reasons so many people expressed optimism for this year is based upon how much depth the team has (and of course Josh). I think it is completely reasonable to pump the brakes a bit on that optimism based upon the performance of the team as a whole but more importantly the individual performances yesterday.

I cannot stand Lafleur or his ridiculous dodgeball team.

Also, 69th overall....nice He’s has the 5th the highest winning % of non-championship coaches. Being behind George Allen, Jim Harbaugh, Matt LaFluer & Kevin O'Connell.

Presque Isle... Erie. Was in on the award winning beach erosion construction in early 1990s with USACE: Notice how the armor stone mounds placed parallel to shore self-nourish AND if course protect the beaches... Vs. old style groin perpendicular to beach? Some mounds now, you can walk right out onto without getting feet wet!

Watkins Glen and Zoar Valley come to mind besides what has already been mentioned...

I get that they aren't scheming up exotic gameplans, but guys are just getting beat out there, and that's the main issue. We don't really care, and Bosa (big yawn on the sidelines which we can all relate to) doesn't care but the guys on the field are getting to live the dream and are trying to make every rep count to build their career as NFL players. You drop a ball as a WR it might be the only opportunity you get that game for a number of reasons totally unrelated to dropping the ball. Maybe you get subbed out. Maybe you were only going to get a few drives and the ball only came your way once. And you dropped it. You don't think that matters to that player? Just listen to McDermott after the game. He was disappointed and expected more from the guys out there, even hinting that they might have to see who is out there to sign. -
They do in their new Tacomas. Turbos have come a long way in the last few years. Unlike the past, where a turbo was bolted on to a naturally aspirated engine, the entire engine is designed to be turbocharged. GM has used the 2.7 Turbomax in full sized trucks for years and the long term durability of the turbo system seems to be pretty solid. I was initially turned off by the turbo too, but after a lot of research, I became much more comfortable with it.

There needs to be an overhaul of the entire defensive coaching scheme. It’s THE only problem we have. It’s what’s cost us a Super Bowl. Maybe even more than one. Our problem is THE guy coaching the defense. It’s been since 2018. 2017 was good. I’ll give him that year. The scheme was figured out. It’s been completely shredded by anyone competent. It’s the thing that’s keeping us from where we want to go. I don’t care if McDermott stays on as the HC. I just want him to have nothing to do with the Defense. Zero. Nothing to do with it. A person from the outside needs to take it over and we will win the Super Bowl. If Wade Phillips is our DC we have a ring already -
THIS BILLS TEAM NEEDS TO WATCH ROCKY 3 NOW!!!!!

What I was really pointing to is the bigger idea behind the clip from the movie shared. Sorry you didn't get it - hope this helps connect things for you. It's really not that hard when you reflect on it. -
If you are cutting Hamlin, do it now...
