  1. Past hour
  2. If either actually hit IR count me as surprised because their situation will feel mismanaged. In my opinion it’s just McD being cagey as usual. A reporter asks “is IR a possibility?” McD responds with his token “we’ll see.” They act like they don’t have any of the information when in fact they have all of it. Diagnoses don’t take literal weeks.
  3. https://x.com/salsports/status/1981032152562008116?s=46 seems the opposite of Joe. Which one is it.
  4. It's hard to know but I don't think that was Beane's intent. Beane can only spend real money on a limited number of position groups and I'm guessing he had a thoughtful plan on how to build a good overall roster within the restraints of the cap. I think Beane thought he built a good OL. And, with Josh at QB, he believed he didn't really need elite receivers for this offense to work. Give Josh some protection and he'll find a way to get yards. I also think Beane may have overestimated the OL, DL, DBs, and receivers he had acquired. That's my guess.
  5. They haven't been able to run a screen for years. They've tried; and it's mostly because of the QB's style of play.
  6. Sorry. I’m too old for the “there’s always next year” mentality. Life is too short. This is the last year in the stadium and I really don’t want to go out with a whimper.
  7. Opposite in fact. I love talking ball. The problem is online people rush to judgement and respond with snark and insincerity. Read again and you'll see what I'm saying is when the Bills win, and you still have critique, you are essentially shown the door. You'll Never find me telling someone to cheer for another team because of what they think about the team.
  8. We really need normal service restored for the Bills. The last 2 weeks the team has embarrassed themselves on both sides of the ball. A loss here would be devastating for our chances at the 1 seed but an unimpressive ugly win would be also distressing, especially after having 2 weeks off to prepare. They absolutely need a solid win with no bad penalties.
  9. Maybe this is the loophole Beane needs to save face and acquire a WR in a trade. Then he can say "We were set, but that injury forced our hand a bit".
  10. Yet you brought him up because someone spoke ill of Coach Tim. Interesting.
  11. I can't imagine it changes any of the Super Bowl Pro Bowlers deciding to participate. Who would want to chance an injury in a flag football game or any other silly event 5 days before the biggest game in their life?
  12. Again, NFL = Clown show
  13. I say dont. Miss the playoffs and brun it down / rebuild. QB, RB and OL are in place.
  14. I bought the book and read it last night. Interesting memoir. You are about 5 years older than me and I did not start following Bills football until I was a freshman at UB (1972). I saw the final game at War Memorial and the first game at the Ralph. In the 80's, I managed three Pizza Huts's - Camp Road, Orchard Park and East Aurora. Even in the drought years - the fan experience was chaotic. They were good (if not uplifting) times. Than my wife set up her first computer and someone showed me Prodigy. From 1995 (?) on - I breathed Bills, Never saw the BBMB but the D&C (Rochester) had something like it until it collapsed in anarchy. TBD already existed and then SDS created TSW. Lot One - Pole 5 was our Bills Universe If I had to pick out one memory - 23 January 1994 - the Bills foretold Joe Montana's retirement by knocking him out the game. Jeff Wright, Phil Hansen and Bruce Smith sandwiched Montana out of the game. Bills win 30-13 Then the NFL became the greedy monster it is today. The No Fun League sucked the joy out of Sundays P.S. Our first house was on Capen Blvd and my daughter attended Windemere, AMS and Amherst High. Eggertsville ruled!
  15. Are you talking about the value of those pesos we now own?
  16. Those plays worked last year but were more of a quick throw behind the line to a wr. I’m talking about teams blitzing and we dump off a true screen pass to a running back to counter defensive pressures and blitzes. We even used to successfully run a tight end screen. Kelly would roll right and throw back left to Metzlars. Drove defenses crazy.
  17. If forced to name the worst, I think there's no real debate: Palin. Dan Quayle was a little unfairly maligned. I think he was basically competent, and he had some good staffers. Walz is a poor governor and clearly wasn't ready for the main stage. I still believe Kamala chose him mostly because she didn't want to elevate her competition (Shapiro, etc.) in case she loses and tries again in 2028. Still praying that she doesn't.
  18. Hoax. This is exactly where we’re at. Don has dementia. But you slurp him up anyways.
  19. Gives me the impression, since draft classes and FAs are not translating to any impact players and poor depth due to reliance on brittle players ( Hairston, Milano, Strong, Bernard etc) our personnel department needs to be better or replaced. Why does Beane and Sean get a pass for 3 years of bad drafting and no FA improvement in the secondary or LB position. It’s a bottom line industry, our defense doesn’t pass the eye test. Schemes are bad and personnel needs improvement.
  20. They have the best doctors and they're still researching Strongs neck? They still don't know if Palmer will be IR after 2 weeks?
  21. Doesn’t sound like you respect opposing opinions much.
  22. You mean COACH Timmy. He runs a mean pick 6 you know.
  23. Josh looks like someone that could use a little sugar rush this season, he looks a little bit bored.
