Where did you see "defenders...saying they're reading our plays"? That's been a growing complaint of mine on BOTH sides of the ball, tbh. The players are at a disadvantage far too often because the play callers rely on poorly disguised tendencies/concepts. The Bills seem easy to scout, overall. Also, the (offensive) players seem to do a shite job of executing wrinkles and creative calls, which potentially speaks to how little practice time is spent on diverse concepts each week. Their comfort zone is incredibly narrow, apparently. It's truly unfortunate that Allen will spend the absolute prime of his career with substandard NFL offensive play design and play-calling. Really robs us of so much joy when watching the Bills. There is a GULF between offenses like the Bills and those of McVay, Shanahan, whoever the eff is calling Tampa's plays this season, etc. All this ignores or sidesteps how easily opposing offenses can motion our defense into predictable and vanilla concepts most of the time. Again, putting the players at least at a disadvantage.

Forget the injuries. EVERY SINGLE NFL team has injuries. So please save it with the injuries excuse. Overall, this defense is washed up. McDermott's and Babich's coaching hurt more. Tre White, being out there, is a negative for everyone involved. Again, this goes back to Beane. He shouldn't have offered Tre White anything in the first place. I was strongly against the signing because Tre was done.

I agree to an extent...we need a true WR1. But to pull Cook on third/forth and short and try to pull gimmick plays is stupid. In the second half, Cook was averaging 7 yards per carry....wtf is he not on the field. Even if you decide to give the ball to someone else.

Personal is a problem but what is also a problem is we played the team with the highest blitz percentage in the NFL and for the entire game we had two passes thrown to a running back and both those throws were not to the number 1 running back. The Atlanta Falcons blitzed Josh Allen on 55.9% of his drop backs and we never adjusted. That is a coaching problem.

That's why I still don't understand why there is McDermott Defense Force existing on this forum. Boggles our minds. We have plenty of evidence to fire him.

Of course he has the best start to a game of any Bills WR this year and then immediately gets injured after I posted this. My bad Palmer didn’t mean to jinx you.

Most "old school" head coaches prefer this approach (Tomlin, Carroll, Harbaugh, McD, etc.) but that's not the structure that works lately. Kind of agree. But also, he wants to entrust someone else to call the D for legit reasons, too.

All the more reason to lean on the Bills star RB, James Cook. The Falcons OC clearly knew how to use their best weapon. You don't think this is a problem?

Josh had a below average to terrible game on Monday Night. He himself will be the first to state that. Time for the entire team and the coaching staff to reflect and get a reality check; pick up and move on to the next game. The Bye couldn't have come at a MUCH better time for this team. Why wouln't the Bills bring Cooper back from retirement. He really helped keep things honest

Benford looks a shell of himself. Rookies Hairston and Strong both are out due to bad injuries (Strong's may be career ending). Tre has been average or below average. Rapp is pretty bad Bishop is playing average Johnson is playing average Without that coverage, that DL is not getting the time to get to the QB. DBs are supposed to be McDermott's strengths...This year - it has been anything but that. Plus we are not getting the turnovers that we have always got...

He absolutely must take over. Clearly the 2nd half reflected inproved defensive play calling. I know he wants to remain in the roll of HC but he doesn't have that luxury anymore. I don’t understand why he can't just do what a litany of other HC's have done. Sean if that's your expertise than lets see it.

Should have one already in 2021, and now should be fighting to cement and build upon legacies each season. Instead, we're stuck in the cycle where good has been and still seems to be the enemy of great.

The line judge is straddling the line. It was a valid call. And while not official, the black line is pretty good. Watch it every play, and you’ll see that defense rarely has a hand on or over the line.

Episode 5 of The Lowdown: Peter Dinklage for the win!! This show has been great so far, but this week's episode went to another level with the random guest appearance from Game of Thrones actor Peter Dinklage.....his character was a real a-hole, but he had me laughing throughout the episode....he brought some unexpected humor to this drama. Great show!

To assume Allen is playing in his late 30‘s is crazy to me. It might happen. It just as easily could be 35. He will be a billionaire by then. Probably with kids and a wife that would rather he hangs it up. Beaten body probably falling apart. Appreciate this now, it could change quick.

What's really refreshing about Walker is he's the first Bills rookie in seemingly forever where we aren't desperately searching for small flashes or telling ourselves to stay patient with his development. He showed up day one making splash plays and before the bye week already looks like a future cornerstone. When's the last time a Bills rookie did that? Tre White maybe?
