Victor Davis Hanson's Truth Bombs

Victor Davis Hanson: Western Civilization Has Reached Its Turning Point After Charlie Kirk's Death by Ian Schwartz It’s been one week since Kirk was shot dead while debating on a college campus, and the Right is reacting more viscerally than we’ve seen from it in recent memory. Not only that, but we’re seeing worldwide support for Kirk, mass demonstrations against illegal immigration in Europe, the fall of France’s government, and a grassroots movement saying, “Enough is enough,” here in America. Victor Davis Hanson analyzes the events that pushed the West to its boiling point and where we go from here on today’s episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.” LINK: https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2025/09/20/victor_davis_hanson_western_civilization_has_reached_its_turning_point_after_charlie_kirks_death.html -

Democrats’ $1.5 trillion demand to keep the gov’t open sets a new record for gall New York Post, by Editorial Board Senate Democrats this week said they’d let the Republican short-term spending bill pass, and so avoid a government shutdown as of Oct. 1, for the low, low price of . . . $1.5 trillion. Yep, they demand that much added spending, which means $1.5 trillion in new federal debt over the next decade. To add a single month of uninterupted federal operations, the GOP must agree to: 1) permanently extend Biden-era ObamaCare subsidies that now sunset Dec. 31, and 2) gut the health savings just passed in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, and 3) unfreeze $5 billion in foreign aid that President Donald Trump recently stopped while Congress was on (yet another) vacation. https://nypost.com/2025/09/19/opinion/democrats-1-5-trillion-demand-to-keep-the-govt-open-sets-a-new-record-for-gall/ They can go to hell. -

“Grok, translate this post:” *Sure. The poster, clearly psychotic, is really terrified that the leftists in this country just created one of the most significant martyrs in American history. What’s equally disturbing to said poster, is that it’s his side (cultural Maosists obsessed with Trump) is responsible for the radicalization of the new breed a violent democrats. He would like no one to watch, but it’s 2025, images from the service will be the most shared viral video clips in history going well beyond just today.* “Thanks Grok.” -
Yeah, I have a Thurman signed helmet and an Eric Wood signed ball, and the nice display cases for each were like $20-40 on Amazon. Frames are expensive and then take up so much wall space, and you need the proper room to hang it in...

Do The Bills Have A Passing Game Problem?
Matt_In_NH replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
The game when they ran for 147 yards and three tds while scoring 27 points on a very good defense? Understood it was not the best offensive performance but it’s not like they were just shut down. No turnovers while scoring 27 points is a good formula to win playoff games even though that has not worked vs the chiefs. Playoff wins can be messy. I would ask for examples of great offenses you can list and then go look at playoff logs over years. I contend your assertion the ceiling is just higher with a pass happy approach is not necessarily true. Each game is unique and you need to gameplan vs what they are trying to do against you. It might not be as fun or sexy but it can be an overall better approach to control the game with their approaxh. It’s not like they don’t use Josh Allen, it’s not just power run all the time. -
