Every company in the world, including the one that pays me, makes business choices I don’t agree with. Were I to be bothered unduly by all of it, I would be better off trying to live in the woods. Thankfully, I am free to pick and choose who I purchase products from. That’s a very liberating feeling. Schick gets my shaving related money. All the while, I have no interest in trying to soft-scold anyone for supporting or not supporting any products or merchants they choose. I will leave that to others. I’m happy for you, your wife and kids, and your father. Everybody wins.

Eric Dickerson Claims Teams Were Told To Not Draft Shedeur Sanders
BarleyNY replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
Manning did interview well, then told SD to pound sand. He told them that he wouldn’t play for them and to trade him to the NY Giants. Sanders isn’t nearly a perfect prospect and he certainly messed up the pre draft process. But he never told any team he was above playing for them. -
I totally agree and all that is true and good... The Bills were 9th in the NFL in QB Pressures in 2024. I'm as big an x's and o's football junkie as anyone. I love Cover 1...lol... But we can all just turn that stuff off and tap into our common sense when it comes to the Bills and how teams are going to continue to attack this Defense until they prove they can stop it... The ball is coming out fast on plays designed to exploit our zones and drops in the short passing game, and we are going to continue to see a ton of misdirection and screen plays... I think with that additions there should be no question the Bills are better upfront. But until they can solve what teams started figuring out about them in 2023, and got a little better at in 2024, this Defense will not improve like folks think it will. They have to tighten up the coverage vs the short and intermediate passing game to give those D-Linemen that extra second or two to get to the QB. A heathy Milano and Bernard for 17 games is a BIG key... But it's going to take that whole back 7...

PSL Pricing/Seat Selection Discussion
PromoTheRobot replied to Spiderweb's topic in The Stadium Wall
A lot easier paying for your own stadium when you are in media market #1. Stan Kronke and Jerry Jones paid for their playpens but made their investments back relatively quickly. Not happening in WNY. -
We should just follow a simple rule. KIAFFS Keep It About Football F%$% Stick

I’ve actually had one for about 40 years, to include being subjected to an espionage-related poly for an SCI effort. I have a pretty good understanding of the process. I was merely commenting on you being the first in a very long time to pick up the Steele torch and run with it. Giving credit where it’s due by mentioning the work Billstime and Karen Piper have done to get you back up on that horse.

I mean I would believe it would communicated that their goals are win championships, sustainability, and return on investment that's actually the type of thing that would come out at a company meeting... Notice the last thing was the lifestyle... The first two were win championships and sustainability... And even fund businesses and taxes were ahead of lifestyle... To me that shows it's last place because he's not there to lose his lifestyle either.. if any of us got to that level we don't want to lose it If that is his last goal.. and winning and sustainability and all that comes before it... of course the bills are there to also fund his lifestyle he's one of 32 in the world it's an elite company

My wife wasn't happy about Hobby Lobby and Obamacare. We still shopped there when our kids needed stuff for school projects. I didn't like Chick-fil-As ownership opposition to gay marriage. I don't really care for their chicken sandwiches either. But my kids like them so we occasionally went there. My elderly dad really likes Cracker Barrel. I take him there occasionally (but not since the minor do-over). I still will. I suspect he won't complain unless they take away the Old Timer's Breakfast or whatever it's called. My life isn't some kind of performance of upper middle class urban white center-liberalism. I don't require vendors to align themselves perfectly with my ideas of virtue and vice. In some aspects of my life I'm a political person, but much more frequently I'm just a consumer. Try it! It's liberating!!

Much easier when you have 2 billionaires splitting the cost.
-
Maybe give the NHL itself credit for the Sabres being good since they ran the team between Rigas and Golisano. Terry, unlike Golisano, spent like a drunk sailor at the beginning. Remember the locker room refurb right after he bought the team?

Throw me on the stack of people getting sick of these billionaires.

I support your defense of Gillette and your interesting take on consumer choice. We all have our things.

So what do you think of Terry's new yacht?
machine gun kelly replied to HOUSE's topic in Off the Wall
To think a guy worth $7 billion is not going to have a lavish home(s) and a yacht along with Im sure luxury cars is naive. He’s allowed to have beautiful stuff. The cost of the stadium is what $2.25 billion so he paid a ton. NYS has its only football team in this state. It’s not like NYS doesn’t already have more social programs than many states. I don’t want to get into a liberal vs. conservative point of view discussion so if you like or don’t like, it’s done. Moving on. -
Elite during the regular season, especially against weak opponents, but then disappeared when it mattered the most. In our 4 playoff losses with Diggs on the team he averaged 4 catches on 9 targets for 35 yards and 0 TDs.

Yeah, that wasn't Galisano, that was Rigas. Those bums Knox, Rigas, Galisano, figuring out how to field a team that that collectively had the 4th highest P% in the league. It's just this wild circumstances of events that makes the Pegula era Sabres a bottom 5 team in P% since he bought the team.* (* It's been some time since I've run the numbers. I think bottom 5 is generous. I think the Sabres are last/very close to last in P% across league from the 2011/12 season on)

Geez, I didn't take you for the toxic masculine type who would be offended by calling out toxic masculinity. But I guess you never know who you're dealing with online. You could be the forgotten third Tate bro

True. That is in the report. Steele didn't make things up from whole cloth. He reiterated derogatory/compromising information (yes, that includes rumors) in what looked like an official package. In short, there was nothing in Steele's "dossier" that wouldn't have been fair game in a background investigation done for anyone seeking the highest level security clearances.
