  1. Past hour
  2. This is why I'd like them to dangle a 1 for Addison or Waddle. I have it on good authority that they loved Addison. Same concept here as the first Diggs trade. Spend the premium asset on someone who is proven.
  3. I've noticed this too. I'm on the fence on rigged vs. poor officiating but more and more I wonder if it's because I don't want rigged to be true. As soon as I'm convinced it's true I'll walk away from something that I've enjoyed since...well you know.
  4. I 🤮 when we drafted Keon and I will 🤮 if we get Meyers. Shaheed, Olave, Waddle or bust We don’t need anymore mediocre WRs - we lead the NFL with mediocre WR already
  5. I think the Pats have a legit shot at the 1 seed. They will be favored in all their remaining games, except possibly vs Bills and at Tampa. I also expect them to make a splash deal at the trade deadline, with all their cap space…
  6. Some recency bias here but that 49ers LB who tore his Achilles running into the field in the Superbowl was crazy and super unfortunate
  7. It's natural to look at controversial calls and conclude the refs are corrupt. It's equally natural to hear someone complain about corruption or conspiracies and conclude these people are just wrong, since refs are human and make mistakes. So which is true? I think some referees have shaved points on some games because a) simply enormous money is at stake b) NFL refs are just as prone to corruption or coercion as anyone else; c) they know they won't be caught; d) they've gotten away with it for years so why not continue? To rebut, skeptics almost always resort to fallacies: "No way all owners would agree" (who said they're involved?). "You're just a sore loser!" (which ignores the reasoning); "Bad calls don't mean corruption!" (There can't be both?) Put it this way: Why wouldn't the people involved tweak game outcomes given the enormous upside and the virtually non-existent risk? Integrity? Love for the game?
  8. KC is the worst ranking in NFL at play action FYI.
  9. If not the 1, it doesn’t matter. The Bills have been everything but, and still to no avail. Another AFCE title is meaningless at this point in JA’s career. It’s doubtful they were going to end up the 1 seed anyway, even with all the preseason speculation. It will probably be the Chiefs or possibly the Colts in the coveted slot for the post season.
  10. @leh-nerd skin-erd would still be talking about this if the black president did this.
  11. Need Josh to start treating defenses like this again
  12. Short answer...YES!
  13. I don't think Meyers would be a good use of resources and I think we can probably get someone that offers more value to us for less cost. But Meyers would at least be an upgrade. Just think there's some diminishing returns with him.
  14. Still no TrumpCare but they got those tax cuts out of the way.
  15. Good luck tomorrow folks. That ChRefs team is a combo that is hard to beat. And no, I am not being sarcastic. I mean it.
  16. Trouble is most of our mid WR’s are injured and unavailable. Mid is overrating the ones on the field. Meyers is at least an NFL WR. That’s where we’re currently at with this group. A true WR1 is likely not available.
  17. Josh is supposed to sit and concentrate 24-7 on the upcoming game. No breaks, no family, just practice, eating, and the next game. because humans are only able to focus on one thing at a time, and god forbid have work/life balance or maybe a bit of fun.
  18. “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea” (Matthew 18:6).
