Carroll got tired of wooing coeds, figured it was time to try a Vegas showgirl.

That was definitely the plan. But what cab they do? The injuries are real.

Oliver Still Leads Bills in TFL, 2nd in Sacks
ProcessTruster replied to Kaenon's topic in The Stadium Wall
yeah Beane has no luck in FA, goes and gets key guys (miller, hoecht) and then they immediately get catastrophic, career altering (ending?) injuries. I guess, as always, Buffalo is not allowed to have nice things Since the regular season is kind of a wash at this point, Let's get as healthy as possible for the season-end tournament with JA17 and see how that turns out -
Very good chance Week 18 we are playing for the postseason, and I'm not sure they make it. I can think of really good reasons they could lose any of their upcoming games: With the way they struggled with the Texans pass rush, how do you think they are going to perform against the Eagles? I could see them also struggling badly with the Steelers and Browns rushers. Bengals get back Joe Burrow, so their record is irrelevant. The Jets also pose a much bigger threat with Tyrod Taylor, and Aaron Glenn might be coaching for his job in the final game. I've also finally accepted the Patriots are a better team than us this season, and will probably sweep.

We're Heading to Pittsburgh... The Stadium is Haunted
Bill from NYC replied to ryguy101's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is haunted, and I am living proof. In 1996, the Bills were headed to Pittsburgh for a playoff game. I read in the paper that Bruce Smith was listed as doubtful due to the "flu." I was beyond furious. I called him everything but a child of God. Flu? I can't express how much of a wimp I considered him to be. We lost, and Bruce was just so great we may have won with him in there. Who knows? Well, a week or two later I was driving home and was freezing on not the coldest day. i was so cold put on the heater full blast. Walking from my drivway to the house I was shivering, and had the worst flu of my lifetime. I lost 14 pounds in a week, and was hallucinating yellow and red cartoons on my bedroom wall. On the 4th day I was able to eat half pice of toast with no butter and a few sips of black tea. I realized that I would more than likely live. That same flu today would surely kill me and I am the first on line for flu shots. My point? I was just so angry at Bruce for not playing. I wanted him to go to Pittsburgh and play professional football with that flu in 20 degree weather, and it turned out that making it from my bed to the bathroom was barely if at all possible. I guarantee that others on this board remember that game. Bruce wound up in the hospital as I recall. Well, karma came around to haunt me for my judgemental rant lol. -
Sounds like a really strong, humanitarian argument for ending the war as soon as possible. Should be pretty easy to do with skilled diplomacy and a fresh set of eyes. Especially now that Sleepy Joe is gone. It's not like we're sleepwalking through a bloodbath that Biden couldn't prevent and Trump can't end.

Yep. It's the bolded. Where once he was the coming force he is now clearly yesterday's man. How much time can a guy in his 70s get? That is why it sucked as a hire. That was a multi year rebuild.... with a coach who is in his 70s. Nonsensical.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

We will see.

Completely done with mcdermotts defense. I don’t even want to hear him talk anymore this year. When they win he says certain things that make me cringe and then when they lose there is no mention of that thing.. total nonsense. He sounded like a sad sack with no answers after the loss to the Texans Thursday. there is no excuse for the defense to be this bad. I give him a pass vs Atlanta. The team was decimated on defense that night. He doesn’t get that pass for the Texans game or going forward. we play the most pathetic run defense in the nfl. If McDermott was the coordinator under a head coach and the defense played the way it does every week he would be the one called on to be replaced. He just gets a pass here because the team would create so many takeaways and Josh Allen can make magic late in games. I have basically just had it watching this defense.

These judges should be held accountable. -
Is that Chip Kelly? Or just a generic RaiderFan? Could be either. 😁
-
Nope. Was horrible hire. And bringing Chip with him was clown show territory.

Diana Russini in The Athletic - draft and tanking idea
GunnerBill replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Cleveland 1-15 came after that and was definitely a tank. They even traded cap room for a pick remember allowing the Texans to essentially dump Osweiler's contract onto their salary cap for the cost of a 2nd round pick. That is the definition of a team trying not to win. But agree the Colts tanked for Luck too. They are the only two genuine tanks I can recall. -
Hailee was there
-
No need to worry. We have Greg under contract until 2030. He has plenty of time to develop. 🤣

And that culture like a fish starts at the top. Al Davis revolutionized football in many ways, but his family hasn't carried the torch very well. In the In the 15 seasons since Al died they have won less than 40% of their games, made the playoffs as a w/c twice and have a total of three seasons at .500 or above.

dorquemada replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good news is, without Josh, this is a zero win team so it wouldn't be tanking, per se, it would be the natural outcome of a terribly built roster and Bozo T. Clown level coaching staff -
He wore the glasses at points last year. They arent new. The Marty Schottenheimer comparison: Schottenheimer in the playoffs 5-13 McDermott-7-7 Not sure how it ends up but McDermott is probably closer to Bud Grant.

Game week thread - Bills at Steelers
BuffaloBillyG replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
On the positive side, we come in with a few extra days to rest and prepare. I think this game is the calm before the 💩 show. We win this one easily. 31-13. Then turn around and get squashed by the Bengals, Patriots and Browns. -
Does it matter? Even if they do they aren't winning 4 in a row against top teams.

This women is a true liberal, she states that her loyalty is to the Mexicans, not the American people. She attacks the Fed employee with a car and then claims victimhood. She even added in she was going to drop off clothes for the poor when she did it. Y'all like protecting criminals and sacrificing the good people.
