I went to a September game in Jacksonville about 20 years ago. I remember paying $250/seat and realizing we were the only people left in our row. It was so hot the Bills were rotating the OLine. We had to join everyone else in the concourse and watch the game on little monitors behind the concession stands. After that I turned down free tickets in September in Florida.

This is why, having lived through the entire Bills' history, I bask in their recent success. As a franchise, we have had two great eras: the early 1990s and the past five years. And if the Bills ever do win it all, I think, like many old-timers, we'll go to the party of the century in Buffalo and then die some time later that week, having finally accomplished the last big thing on our bucket list.
