I know this isn’t the point of the thread, but I’m so glad the Bills are good enough to play really poorly for much of the game, be sloppy, bad penalties and still will by 2 scores. The saints had a great game plan and played really well and still lost Nice to be other end of that after 17 years of knowing we lose that game

This. If Buffalo were playing Philly yesterday, what would the result have been? That's right. -
Patrick Mahomes: It was huge to have Xavier Worthy back out there

I take it that you are basing your opinion on the 1st round pick Elam that was traded to Dallas ? I believe if Max shows he's the best player during his time in practice that he will be the guy come game day unlike Elam . From what I remember Elam was more of a man player coming out of college and the Bills play more of a zone type D and who knows it may have been some of the coaching because he has started every game in Dallas so we may never know but I can hope that Max won't turn out the same !! -
OMG, an opinion piece lol. Why not just look at the data lol? You can look up crime and murder stats. Where are you more likely to be shot and killed? Kennesaw, GA or Chicago, IL? Just because Scientific America says you're more likely to be killed in Kennesaw than Chicago doesn't make it true. How about this? Lets text each other at 2:00 am, I will be walking down the streets in Kennesaw. You walk down the streets in Chicago. Deal?

Tre doesn't have the speed to keep up with quicker receivers but he's actually made several good tackles the last 2 games. He isn't playing great at this point in his career but we've seen a lot worse. One of the two pass interference/holding calls against him yesterday was ridiculous. Benford hasn't had a dominate start to the season but it's hard to really put a lot of stock into his performance when the d.line isn't generating pressure on the QB for large stretches of the game. Hoping Hairston is able to come back and play at some point and he will replace tre and add a speedier guy on the perimeter.

If Only They Could Tackle..It's Not Just the Coaching

Cam Lewis missed tackle on the opening drive was pretty bad. I believe this is two weeks in a row the bills have missed a tackle on the opening drive that would have forced a punt! -
Biggest disappointment by far. I don’t want to hear it takes time to develop. The bills rotate and platoon DL. He played in SEC against nfl coaches. Beane traded up to take him 9th overall in second round. His pff grades are horrific

Who watches the half time show?!

The refs were not doing well with substitutions, or the play clock, or getting penalties called in a timely fashion. Didn't feel like it was a well called game by the officials either. From the stands there were definitely some missed calls on the saints defense.

Nothing will ever top the run that Up With People had in the 70s and 80s.

This simply is not a scheme problem IMO. The players are in position, they’re not executing. -

The offense has been conservative, by design, to keep josh upright. It’s been efficient and at times excellent. Probably need to look at some load management for cook as the season progresses, we’ll see. Zero issues with the offense. the defense has been okay, especially since the fourth quarter of the first game. There’s some areas of concern but I think waiting until week 10 or so before sounding the alarm is prudent given the missing players. If McDermott and co. can’t get this group of players into a strong/great defense then I’ll be severely disappointed. -
Because crime would happen all the time. Is this a serious answer? You crack down on the criminals, get them off the street. Not give them cashless bales because zero consequences do nothing. I mean come on. Criminals commit crimes all the time regardless of the law. You know how you prevent them from committing crimes? Stiffer penalties. I mean use common sense. If you're violent criminal and you get arrested, don't suffer any real consequences each time, get let back out on the street....what would motivate them to stop committing crimes? Nothing! You don't get in trouble for doing it. Or if you're a 14 repeat offender, you shouldn't be on the streets at all because you clearly don't respect the law. This is common sense.

Every team, but 1 loses once the playoffs start. You can’t win the playoffs in September. -

Yep - been saying it all off season. He IS a liability. Should have kept Strong out there when McD benched Tre for one series yesterday. Benford is looking pedestrian too. Our CB's are the issue. -

I think it’s mostly going to be a redshirt year for Landon. Depending if Bosa or Epenesa are back or not next year I assume one will not which will open up a door for him . He’s not a bust still early

Very tough game. This is the hardest game up to now. Bills have to come out dialed.

Can’t keep blaming the coordinators Gunner. McDermott has handpicked the last 3 or 4 of them. He also has a big say in which players get drafted and how he develops them Mcdermott is the HC ultimately it falls directly on him.
