  1. Past hour
  2. He can certainly be charged or sued for alleged criminal actions which occurred before he was drafted. I don't think the league can suspend him for offenses prior to his status as an NFL player.
  3. Am I the only one confused about Beane calling it a "Title IX thing" ? Title IX is about gender equality in sports, I don't see why it would apply to allegations of sexual assault
  4. the fact he was investigated with no charges has made my blood pressure go down. That and Beane saying this was investigated pre draft and found still 1st round draft pick worthy is notable This drama was not known to me even post draft though just saying.
  5. So if OJ was still an active player when he was found guilty in the civil suit for brutally murdering the mother of his children and her friend, you’d have been okay with him staying in the NFL?
  6. No way can he be guilty. Bills cornerbacks are perfect, flawless human beings.
  7. I have tinted windows because it's Florida and it helps. But besides the nefarious activity (that doesn't happen with me as far as you know), there's a flip side; when I flip someone off, I'm like...'Crap, he probably didn't see that'!
  8. McDermott is the worst playoff coach in NFL history?
  9. Just have to wait and see how it turns out. I never jump to conclusions on these things. This was a known issue, though, and it sounds like the school couldn't find anything and the Bills did their research. We'll see how it turns out, but I highly doubt discipline will come from the NFL on this.
  10. tbh...he is basically marty schottenheimer at this point
  11. Tom Brady is on a different level elite. Immediately after leaving NE, he won the Super Bowl in Tampa....a team that was 7-9 the year before.
  12. "He's an impeccable kid," Beane said. "We did a lot of research. I think all teams were aware of the Title IX thing. That was fully investigated by the school...It was one of those where there was zero information saying that this actually happened." I will trust Beane's research over the word of someone out to make money.
  13. whenever this situation pops up years after the fact, have the victim take a lie detector test. may not be admissible in court, but could prevent lawsuits
  14. Talking with some of my wife’s relatives who are Browns fans in Cleveland, and they aren’t loving the new location. Concern over major traffic and possibly traffic issues with going to and from the airport.
  15. LOL some of the counterfeit jerseys for $30 aren’t that bad. This is a monstrosity
  16. For reasons not to hire him, I’d have to add that he is an old man and an A-hole. I think Brady was more responsible for the culture. If we are just talking about building culture, I still prefer McD. I hope his in-game management continues to improve so we can put silly talk like hiring Belichick for HC to bed.
  17. Especially when that college player is a top draft prospect and is set to sign for millions. The timing here is no coincidence. I’m sure they waited to file until he signed his rookie contract
  18. It’s not funny. It’s just a lame wisecrack. For some reason you find it racist. Then again, you’ve fessed up to thinking 50% of the people you encounter on a daily basis are racists. That can’t be fun for you. Speaking of lame wisecracks - bread mold? Is that supposed to be clever? Maybe run it past Frankish.
  19. Man jail for 20 over? I wonder what their policy was on dancing and swear words too lol.
  20. The Falcons hired Raheem Morris over Belicheck....there's a reason.
  21. Yes, she reported it in 2021, it was investigated by police, and no charges were brought. The precedence that Roger Goodell has set is that since this happened prior to the player being in the NFL then the NFL will not suspend the player for it. Doesn't mean that Roger can't change his mind, but I'd say it's highly unlikely the league would suspend him.
  22. I’m guessing that the civil suit had been planned for some time and the legal team were waiting until he signed his contract, rather than going over whatever NIL money he had previously been making. If that happened, Harrison could have been like Rocky Balboa in Rocky V and say “sue me for what?”
