  1. Past hour
  2. One of my all time favorites growing up.
  3. Honest question: We’ve watched Cam Lewis getting torched all season, but I don’t recall hearing his name yesterday…did he play?
  4. He did. Vrabel had a rough 2nd half. Neither have a great track record when it comes to gametime decisions. Both really good leaders, but both also seem to share that same affliction.
  5. No idea how analyze this coaching staff. I don’t think I’ve ever been more disgusted with McDermott, Brady and Babich than I was in that first half. Defense. Again. With the first half nonsense. Offense a mess, but Cooks also drops a potential TD and he’s trying to call a game for an Offense with WR room that lacks talent, and what talent it does have just showed up via free agency or off injury. But then again, he has the best player in football at QB, a top 5 OL, top 5 RB and top 5 TE room. The missed challenge, exacerbated by the fact NY buzzed in our play but regardless, Vrabel had already thrown the flag. Then two cowardly punts.. one Mike Tomlin level cowardly. ….. Then they come out of half like a buzz saw on both sides of the ball and win. I’m out on Beane, but McDermott is a far more difficult conversation. He needs to take a hard look in the mirror at persistent issues his defenses have in first halves and stopping the run though.
  6. I got that. But Hollins was waving his arms around acting as though he was being impeded from going forward - while Tre dove behind him for the ball. Whoops.
  7. Tre White is a warrior
  8. Pretty sad when this can be said about your lone defensive captain and green dot guy. With a "defensive guru" as head coach.
  9. I want to believe this is going to be a much better first half for us . I cannot see Sanders beating our defense as long as McD is calling the plays. Hopefully our oline comes to play too. Garret will be wanting that record.
  10. Veteran players matter at this time of the year. Tre has looked questionable at times but he had himself a game yesterday.
  11. Fans want to be aggressive right up to the point when it doesn't work and the other team gets a very short field. My point is, it's easy to criticize those decisions when you don't have to make them.
  12. Re watch the first game. If you weren't impressed with Maye's performance than I'm not sure what else to say.
  13. A couple of them even disappeared before the game. Involuntarily.
  14. Really? More likely to have been pretty similar, and maybe worse....
  15. He’s trash and relies on one of the best Qb’s who’s ever played the game to save his ass week in and week out. Throwing screens on 3rd and 15 is complete stupidity when the game is on the line. This playbook seems limited as well as his play calling, he lacked creativity and just hopes our guys can line up and do the job better than the other team can do the job of stopping them. We can do much better than this and quite frankly in the playoffs, we will need to. If I would’ve read this before my post, I would’ve just like this and moved on. This is spot on analysis.
  16. Maye threw for 0 TDs in two games vs Bills this year.
  17. I think Houston ends up winning the AFc south
  18. I stand by everything I said. It's not talking out of both sides of my mouth. What did I say that's inaccurate? Don't take things so personally. It's ok to disagree on here. Let's be civil.
  19. I purposely stood every time the Bills had the ball for the entire second half only because they kept scoring.
  20. don't you think it's a little much to immediately paint this as a targeted killing? i know you want this more than anyone, but isn't this complete assumption at this point? unless i'm missing something.
  21. I remember at times in the K-gun days we would flank Thurman and use Kenny Davis as the RB, just to get Thurman in space.
  22. Doesn’t look likely for the 1 anymore with the Denver win and Mahomes done. The way the Jags are playing, the Texans may stay parked in the Wild Card. Both teams have one tough game left. Would y’all rather be the 5 at AFCN winner, 6/7 at Jax, 6/7 at NE or 2 hosting Houston?
  23. There is a fine line between aggressive and reckless. We (fans) seem to want to watch aggressive to the point of reckless on every call. These are game strategy decisions (not solely determined by coaching philosophy). It is just as much about how likely the other team is to score than it is about your likelihood of picking it up. Against the Bengals, where we were expecting a shootout, we went for pretty much everything. Against the Pats, we were expecting to be able to stop them more, so we played field position in close odds situations. In the first half it looked hard to understand these calls. However, in deeper look most of the Pats yards were driven by a fairly small number of execution mistakes. By game strategy and expectations of coaching, field position was a suitable call. The 2nd half really showed that we had the right plan to stop the Pats and play field position, instead of giving them a short field.
  24. @newcam2012 you said exactly: "However, the kid Maye is in year two and looks to be in his way to being a franchise QB. The Pats fans have a lot to be optimistic about" and later you post: This is literally the definition of talking out both sides of your mouth... or maybe you split atoms for a living? What's your deal here?
