  1. Past hour
  2. The Wire is one of those shows that actually lives up to its hype as one of the best shows ever made imo. Other classics on there are Curb Your Enthusiasm and Veep. Would also recommend Barry. Succession is a more recent show that also got a lot of acclaim
  3. Market price for Cook now set. Their stats are nearly identical. Both are 3 years in the NFL. Both were seldom used as rookies. Here are their stats for the last two years Cook: Rushing: yards 2131, TDs 18. Receiving 703 yards, 6 TDs. Scrimmage total 2834 24 TDs. Williams: Rushing: yards 2443, TDs 26. Receiving 388 yards, 5 TDs. Scrimmage total 2831 31 TDs.
  4. I was thinking 3 for 36-40 with sneaky incentives for Cook so this makes sense.
  5. I agree with those numbers. And Ill back you 375lb DT proposal lol
  6. If they had the same deal, which player would you rather have?
  7. Yes, so people saying Cook is better, how so? They seem pretty even to me. Cook’s market value is nowhere near what he is asking. I would be surprised is the Bills are not in this same ballpark with their offer.
  8. I'm old and it's lights out around 9:30...so I'll catch it tomorrow or later in the week. With all the video and on the ground reporting, i.e. Sal C, Astro, etc. yeah it might be different seeing guys in the dining hall or the dorms, but I feel anything we need to know these days is pretty much reported in real time.
  9. Good points. Maybe we’ll go after McLaurin
  10. The woman was bad at her job, Trump might be incorrect that it was political, she might have just been bad at it, but the jobs numbers were too far off too often.
  11. Yea Williams is a churn it out, volume rusher. I confess my bias to be being less of a fan of that type of player. I'd just always value what Cook gives me higher.
  12. I was gonna say 11.25 for the same reason haha but yeah that works
  13. If the coach tells him to get on the field and he doesn’t he should be fined
  14. I could see him getting a bit more, because that's how these things so often work. So 3 years, 34 million. Maybe 25 guaranteed. That might do it. I get what you're saying about the risk of guaranteed money for a RB, but you're going to guarantee a big chunk anyway. If you could get Cook to take a touch less overall if it was mostly or all guaranteed that might help with the cap number. But I would be terrible at this. I would have 3 375 pound DT on the team cost be damned! And I would pay all the guys to keep them, so I don't pretend to be an expert.
  15. Cook is definitely not better.
  16. I Googled The Wire, thanks. It had some good reviews, I will check it out. I lived in the Baltimore area for four years, so it may stir memories.
  17. Or, for all we know, they're being held out because of the new training staff
  18. I go 11.5 per vs 11 per that Williams got. That way Cook csn say he got paid more.
  19. Not so sure about that, they seem to be in about the same tier to me. The question is would the Bills be willing to give Cook the same or a slightly larger deal.....and the next question is would Cook accept that.
  20. His blocking is not good, that is why he was pulled for the final drive against KC.
  21. In most recent Babich PC he was talking up Lewis. Someone asked about the difficulty of Hancock picking up two positions, and he basically said tough - 'your job is to know multiple positions in the NFL, this isn't a college roster, no excuses, figure it out, this is pro football' - and he said about Lewis 'Cam Lewis plays a lot of positions, he never makes an excuse, he wants to do everything right, and he works at it, and he's as tough as they come. What a great example for a guy (Hancock) that has to do multiple things, position versatility is going to add value to you. And here's a guy who all these things and he's sitting right next to you' The fact that Babich is calling out Lewis as someone Hancock can learn from and emulate shows how much ahead Lewis is at this point.
  22. He shouldn't get 14 mil per year average. He should get what Williams got.
  23. Production-wise, they're almost the same player, but Cook's explosiveness shows up in the ypc and ypr numbers, which are both higher than Williams's. Williams scores a lot of TDs, although that can be a deceiving stat.
  24. If that's going to be a factor than the JA17 factor is valid, too. Cook isn't an every down back on the field on 3rd downs enough, which concerns me to more than $12mm/yr.
  25. Surely they wouldn’t be that delusional. There were reports the two sides were close.
