  1. Past hour
  2. This right here. I know we would all love to see us hand a 50 burger up and thrash them. But a conservative gameplan playing mistake free will work. They only chance the Saints have is if we beat ourselves with stupid mistakes. Run the ball, keep the clock moving and GET OUT OF THE GAME HEALTHY!!!
  3. They could, but it would drive people crazy. Just look at NE’s draft from 2003 to 2012 a period of 10 years of hefty dominance. 2003: 4 of the top 5 picks on defense including their 1st pick 2004: 4 of the top 5 picks on defense including their 1st pick 2005: 3 Defense and 2 offense in first 5 - both offense on OL including 1st 2006: offensive draft RB, WR, TE, FB, and K in first 4 rounds - all failures except K 2007: 4 of top 5 defense including 1st round 2008: 4 of top 5 defense including 1st round - only offense a failed QB in 3rd 2009: 3 of top 4 defense including 1st 2010: 3 of top 4 defense including 1st 2011: offensive draft OT in 1st, DB in 2nd then 2 RB and a QB 2012: 6 of 7 were defense including 1st. So for a 10 year run 8 of the 10 years the defense was drafted 1st and mostly and when they did go offense it was mostly OL or TE (Gronk in 2010 2nd round). They drafted few skill players mostly RBs that failed out. Many of those highly drafted defensive players paired nicely - many left and came back later on cheap contracts to guide the next group. The majority were DL and DBs especially early. Why were they successful- they let Brady handle making the offense work and drafted the defensive side over and over and over filling new players in, resigning those they could and cutting and trading those that wanted out, but that is where they drafts went and that is why they were successful. People here lose their minds that we are not picking offensive weapons for Josh all the time.
  4. Some teams' 2 minute plans: Other teams' 2 minute plans: Sometimes I wonder which one the Bills are using. 🤨
  5. No, you are wrong, or just lying. He said what I quoted
  6. Did anyone happen to catch the story on the Sunday Night NBC Nightly News? Basically a quick blurb about how the current political climate between the US and Canada could impact the Bills as it relates to Canadian fans being willing to cross the border and spend money in the US. Not much meat to the story. They interviewed 3 fans from Canada (One who didn't care, one who did care but came anyways, and one who cared and stayed home. Although it seemed like that last person never came to games anyways). TBD favorite Tim G. was interviewed as well, noting that 15% of the season ticket holder base was from Canada. Although at no point in the story did they mention how much of that 15% they thought may actually change their spending or game attendance habits. Anyway thought I'd share to see if anyone here had any thoughts on how Canadian attendance may be impacted (but please keep it as non-political as possible).
  7. Agreed. I can appreciate some elements of Trump, but tbh.. I watched a lot of the Memorial and Rubio, Vance & Erika Kirk were incredible .. and then Trump came out and I just lost interest. He seemed almost out of place.. and it was very clear we were seeing the vision for the right after he leaves office.
  8. Really is insane that people think Rice will just walk back on the field after a year, coming off a serious knee injury and just be like it's Madden where he is right back to exactly the same player. Typically the first year back for a player after an ACL is not great and they look like a shell of their former self, whether that is due to explosiveness not fully back yet, them still being afraid to push it as hard as normal because they still hear and feel "weird" things like pops from scar tissue being broken up, or that they haven't had a training camp to get back in the flow of things and get on the same page with the QB, etc. Coming back in the 2nd year after a full off-season and training camp to get back in shape where they aren't focused more on rehab instead of actual training is when things typically get back to normal. Have seen this time and time again, this should not be a surprise to anyone when it happens. It would be more of a surprise if he came back and looked like the same player this year.
  9. Sit oliver until we get bsck from the bye week.
  10. Are you really saying this is conclusive, 100% of scientists and doctors would agree with your opinion? This is a UNIVERSAL truth and any doctor or scientist that believes there are only 2 genders is incorrect? Is this what you are saying?
  11. Bills are 3-0 with a 2 game lead in the division and they just got a "mini-bye" to help with their injury issues. They head into a home game against one of the worst teams in the league on extra rest. They gotta get Ed and Milano healthy and get the PED Twins and Mad Max back. The few extra days off and the semi-early bye in week 7 should help with that. The Bills for now gotta just keep piling up the wins and knock on wood not get any major injuries. One week at a time...
  12. I’ll be glad when it actually gets here.
  13. Yes, but when every member of the cabinet is proclaiming Jesus and the entire ethos of the right for millennials and Gen Z is to reject the world and embrace Jesus, family, having children.. Yesterday was the beginning of the new right, post-Trump. He was almost a sidenote yesterday. Overshadowed by the movement. And that movement is a rejection of the world and an embrace of God and purpose. So, while not explicitly political, it was the birth of the post-Trump right - driven by a new generation of leaders.
  14. None of this matters, as soon as Rice and Worthy return the Chiefs will be unbeatable. I read it on the internet and saw it on TV.
  15. I'll take that as another "no" then. I think your reluctance to post something specific, is that I'll be able to easily find something that refutes it or at least provides a contrary, peer reviewed opinion, thus demonstrating that it's far from being settled in the scientific sense as you seem to somewhat acknowledge. Maybe more importantly, I don't so much care why someone may have gender dysphoria, because I would treat them like anyone else. I'm happy to use people's preferred pronouns and treat them equally. It doesn't mean I have to pretend a biological male can get pregnant, or want one competing against women in the Olympics, but beyond that they are free to live their lives as they choose and should be able to do so without harassment.
  16. The Ravens are going to lose at least 2 more games imo. Their schedule isn’t impossible but they have the Lions, Rams, a Bears team that could be dangerous on any given day, their division, at the Packers, at the Chiefs and at the Vikings. They can probably only afford 1 loss to get the 1 seed because the Bills would have the tiebreaker. I just don’t see a lot of losses on the Bills schedule. It’s just too easy. If they play like they did Thursday (C or C+) they CAN lose a few times. I believe that is one of the worst games that they’ll play this year. The defense was bad and the offense too conservative. They thought that they’d win by showing up and avoiding mistakes. They were right. They have like 7 or 8 more games on their schedule like that. They can win without playing well. That leaves about 7 games that they need to play at a B or better. If they go 4-3 in those, the Ravens can’t get the 1 with more than 1 more loss!! That’s a wild way to look at it but it might be true. The Colts can’t sustain at this level and it’s TBD on the Chargers. They will have some sprinkled in there. Just keep stacking wins against these trash teams and crossing off weeks. Make the margin of error for the teams behind you smaller and smaller. Show up next week and bury a bad team early.
  17. Of course his issues were technology. But that doesn't discount that Kirk was bigger. Just like 75 years from now, they'll be someone bigger than Kirk. That's how it works. Was MLK bigger than Benjamin Franklin just because he could reach more of an audience with the television and radio? But yes, as you said it. MLK's issues were predominantly America. Kirk's issues he fought for affected the world. So yes, you said it as well...Kirk was bigger. Nope. That is not the proper way to word it and you know it. You don't have to mourn, you just don't have to be vile. And you know it. And don't bring First Amendment into this.
  18. 77 and sunny from the early forecasts...hard to get much nicer than that in late September in WNY.
  19. FTA The memorial was overwhelmingly a religious, not political, event. Thus, the climax came when Erika said that she forgave her husband’s murderer, as Jesus forgave those who crucified him. It was a moment of extraordinary emotional and intellectual power. But, speaking for myself, I will never forgive the liberals who created the conditions for the murder of Charlie Kirk, and many other evils. Following Erika, President Trump’s contribution was adequate but anti-climactic. The highlight was when, after he was done speaking, he and Erika hugged. She was the star of the day, not Donald. https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2025/09/the-charlie-kirk-memorial.php#google_vignette
  20. Watching yesterday’s memorial and contrasting it with clips yesterday from Ilhan Omar and other leftist leaders .. there could not be a more illuminating contrast between the two political ideologies and their visions for the future of America. Not every Democrat ascribes to the vison of the far left, but that is the end game for that party. It’s the ideology fueling and pulling that party. And very clearly, what we saw yesterday, is the ideology driving the new right.. especially amongst those under 40.
  21. God bless you, sir.
  22. I can't give him credit for which started by wildly chucking a ball backwards while under duress. The strip is alpha though, much the same as Josh always attempts after a pick, even in practice. I have thought that it will eventually happen in a real game although the odds are dropping as a function of fewer picks. He almost did it his rookie year finally against the Dolphins.
