Josh Allen is starting to remind me of Dominik Hasek trying to drag those Sabres teams across the finish line.

11/9/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Dolphins Post Game Thread

The names of the coaches that would do a better job won’t fit on this screen. Please don’t think that way. I do not think the roster is bad I think it’s almost all coaching. There are probably 30-40 guys alone that would be better coaching the defense. That’s not even factoring in the coaches that actually are offensive mindsets. -
Not to mention, an MVP that was widely acknowledged that he won because of the season he managed despite the lack of talent around him!!! So what does Beane do... he follows it up by making the situation even worse the next season. And then he has the gall to go on the radio waving receipts and beating his chest over it.

Your guess is as good as mine. I honestly have no idea. I was just laughing while I watched it. And of course there was a penalty so it wouldn't have counted even if they did recover it. -
Because they're: 1) the best in the league at roster management 2) the best coached team in the league
-
There’s a tug of war between Beane Brady and Josh is in the middle being a good soldier
-
That's all on beane McDermott is not like Bill belichick who is the judge jury and executioner and was the GM Brandon Beane has been general manager here for years and put together this roster He has missed on lots of picks
-
I dont know. I think as far as "aligned with contracts" yes, its McBeane. Meaning both on similar length deals now. But I think they'd consider making a move if its obvious. Beane is out over his skis, maybe Terry sees it differently. But, as of now, its glaring what Beane has missed on. Very simple question: if Beane wouldve landed a true #1, with either the Kincaid pick (1st rounder) or Keon (2md rounder which was essentially a 1st), would we br having a discussion right now? Not to mention, hes dumped a sizeable total $ cap into the combo of Shakir, Samuel, Palmer and Knox. To me thats enough to warrant an Exec Leader Mtg to discuss Beanes future.

The worst WR room was the 2018 Bills group of nobodys.

You cannot over look a team decimated by injuries. -
Rams are for real. They had a couple tough losses but they're my pick to rep the NFC in the SB.
-
Yep pretty much. Theres Josh, cook, a few good players and that's about it. Once again, this team lacks elite talent outside of Josh. (And maybe cook)
-
Very well laid out. If Bills fans aren’t sick of McBeane yet it’s due to delusion of some sort… hope, marketing, not understanding the basics of football, etc. The offense is screwed yes. But the defensive cupboard is also bare due to poor drafting in general. As you point out, Josh KNOWS. Must suck.

NE truly lucked out with Drake Maye as he was a very good QB available at the right time, and they have been able to restock a bit via the draft with some higher picks, but they still have holes. Vrable is a good fit for a rebuilding team like the Pats, he is home-grown as a player so familiar with ownership and fan base, and his disciplined approach will get the most out of a limited roster by eliminating mistakes and ensuring they lean into what works best for their roster each game. He will coach them not to beat themselves. All that being said, for every team that jettisons a GM and/or HC and then has quick success after, there are at least a half a dozen that fail miserably and fall into cycles of poor seasons and turnover with different HCs and/or GMs at the helm. It is easy to cherry-pick those few that work - especially when frustrated with the current trajectory and all-to-familiar challenges that seem to plague this team.
-
It’s definitely both. Guys can’t get open, and when you watch replays most plays don’t have guys run more than 12 yards downfield. How is Shakir supposed to work underneath, which is his specialty, when you don’t have other receivers running deep to clear guys out. But also, how can Josh scramble for 6 or 7 seconds and still need to just heave it up and pray a guy catches it most of the time

For anyone who doesn't agree, I'd love to hear what QB they think is successful with this group of bums who look like they're just jogging around out there.

Are McBeane secretly creating an elite offense?

I'd call them sneaky good at being terrible -
Yup. Competence versus incompetence. I used to get upset at commentators who'd criticize the Bills. Now I agree with them. This roster is hot, smoldering garbage.
-
Queue the Beane / WGR interview and we know all we need to know going forward. Beane should have egg on his face after that one. Those were fair questions and have been all year. I'm so angry now I'm comically not mad.
-
Curtis Samuel has five targets on the year. Elijah Moore has nine. Knox came into the game with six. Seems like if the current guys getting all the looks aren't producing, perhaps try calling the number of other receivers who have produced in the past.
-
Except for the interception he got this year that won us the first Miami game. There was also a massive fumble he created last year on mark Andrews in the playoffs
