https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/on-saturday-myles-garrett-was-cited-for-driving-100-in-a-60-mph-zone Garrett flipped his Porsche a couple years back while speeding, saying he swerved to miss an animal. Now he gets caught doing 100. Maybe he didn't learn his lesson? I know these guys mostly drive cars that none of us will ever be able set a foot in, with horsepower we can't imagine, but you have to be smarter than this. -
There's something in the way she moves Or looks my way or calls my name That seems to leave this troubled world behind And if I'm feeling down and blue Or troubled by some foolish game She always seems to make me change my mind

Buying a New Car Stories
Not at the table Karlos replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in Off the Wall
I tell my friend what features I want and what my budget is. A week or two later I have a new car that exceeds my expectations. Sometimes I have to specify nothing crazy because I almost got a smoking deal on a two year old chrome Bentley. -
I have avoided a roster prediction thus far.... but let's have a got at a 53.... now that we have seen a pre-season game: QB: Allen; Trubisky (2) FB: Gilliam (1) RB: Cook; Davis; Johnson (3) TE: Kincaid; Knox; Hawes (3) WR: Shakir; Coleman; Palmer; Samuel; Moore (5) OL: Dawkins; Edwards; McGovern; Torrence; Brown; Grable; Van Demark; Anderson; Lundt (9) DE: Rousseau; Epenesa; Bosa; Solomon; Jackson (5) DT: Oliver; Jones; Sanders; Carter; Walker (5) LB: Milano; Bernard; Andreessen; Williams; Thompson (5) CB: Benford; Hairston; White; Johnson; Strong; Hancock; Codrington (7) SAF: Rapp; Bishop; Hamlin; Lewis; Forrest (5) ST: Ferguson; Bass; Robbins (3) PUP: Van Pran-Granger (1) SUS: Hoecht; Ogonjobi (2)

My story is somewhat similar. I live in Elmira. I drove to Brockport that day to buy a new vehicle. It was a 2006 Ford Fusion. My dad was my salesman so I hung around the dealership for awhile and had lunch with him and his boss. Then I went to Warsaw and visited my grandmother and then my brother and his family. By the time I got home I was beat and crashed. When I woke up, I got online and checked the Bills website. There was the TO news. I literally said "holy s***" out loud!

An I/Me/My Guy? Absolutely! Couldnāt stand him otherwise. But when he was Bill, I loved him!
-
Agreed, but you implied that only one of them could do it (and it wasn't Trubisky).

Nobody came close to Facenda. A true original!

I vote for @Gugny. If weāre forced into playing a backup QB in meaningful games, might as well have some fun cuz weāre gonna lose.

Cam Little Nails 70-Yard Field Goal

Christ NO! Bass can barely split them as it is now! -
āThat guy sucks!ā Classic!

And why does he have to golf? One sport should be enough for him... he needs to get his head in the playbook.

Cam Little Nails 70-Yard Field Goal
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall
That never made sense to me. Youād think a Kicker who could push it even 5 yards further would be such an incredible cheat code for teams. I mean thereās a reason for edit: undervaluing the position obviously, but I donāt know it. I get where Al Davis was coming from and admire him for trying something potentially revolutionary & outside the box. I hope one day we see another super kicker like Janikowski burst onto the NFL scene from some cave in Romania. -

Most teams wouldnāt even give a kicker the opportunity to kick a 70 yarder or trust me, it wouldāve been broken already by now. Either by the record holder Tucker or Prater. Sometimes I wish coaches would be less humble when it comes to individual player records. Thereās times when Josh Allen already had 4 total TDs before the end of the first half and I know would have a very decent chance of breaking the record of 7. I saw the same thing when Kamara broke the rush TD record. They gave it to Hill a couple times at the 1 yard line. Why not let your own player obliterate the record ? Yeah yeah sportsmanship I knowā¦. -
Is this what pride feels like? I still remember getting excited when PTI featured even 30 seconds of something Bills related during the drought, but now we have a player getting national commercials & making the cover of Madden?! It's so cool!

Canāt stand buying cars. Especially when the salesperson has no clue what they are selling. Iāve walked out on a few deals when itās not what I wanted. Have gotten a call back, other times never went back. Best story is I purchased my first new car - a 92 Dodge Dakota pickup. I offered $10,500 for it, salesperson basically agreed. Went to his manager who was yelling at him in his office. Thought it was a ploy. Nope, apparently salesperson sold it for too low as the manager had to agree to sell it at that price. Ultimately was it a show in their part? Maybe. But got a good price. I wonāt buy a brand new car any longer. The last two cars I bought for my wife were Hondaās just off a 2 year lease. Found a few cars on the dealers website that I was targeting. Did my research on price, researched extended warranty cost, worked out payments with what I wanted to put down. Figured out everything before I entered the dealership. A little haggling, but stuck pretty close to what I was willing to pay. Cars had 10,500 and 14,000 miles on them and were in great shape. At two years old, figure any issues with that model year are taken care. Also, donāt have the instant drop in value once you drive a new car off the lot. Iāve leased the last two Silveradoās I got for myself. Last one, I purchased outright at end of lease as it was worth 5k more than my buyout. Leasing is good for the right situation. I owned a business many years ago and it was great for that. For myself, it worked out when they had great lease plans with not a lot down. When buying new, do your research. Find out what manufacturer rebates are to the dealer, current rebates from the dealer, MSRP and if that vehicle is selling above or below. Research trade in value, or get a quote from Carvana as said above. Most important, donāt have a target payment. Dealer can get you whatever payment you want. Negotiate price and payment will follow.

Well, it definitely helps when you have 57 career starts to hit the 300 mark opposed to 7.

White has a total of 3 300 yard games, Trubisky has 8 (granted the last one was in 2019!). As others have said, neither of these guys is going to get it done in anything but the very short term but Trubisky has, IMO, a slightly higher upside (plus, Josh likes him š)
